I had always thought Merkel was the sane one in the bunch and I also hear how Germany continues to crack down on Neo-Nazi groups but I also know how a national movement like that could take hold especially with contained financial power. I never seem to run into those trolls on twitter. I am not sure how I seem to be able to block them but I never see their hype. I see from my followers and those I follow that the same happens but for some reason I have never seen those tweets. Perhaps it is something in my profile?
And that is what should be driven home. For rightwingers the failure to do a full fledged non partisan interview is not necessary however others will question his cowardice and vote accordingly. Something is wrong when a candidate for national office refuses to speak to the general MSM and when he does for one person in that MSM to softball his questions in the desperate attempt to gain more interviews. Perhaps Halperen may be waiting for the opportune moment to slap Romney with hard questions but it may just be too late by then. A serious misjudgment by what is termed as a “serious journalist”
