IMHO I think if the republicans in the house do not come to the table with reasonable cuts across the board, let the tax cuts expire. Either way Republicans will have to go on record as not caring whether or not the 98% get a tax cut. Either now when they bargain in bad faith, or later when they vote not to lower taxes for the middle class. There are already stirrings of their utter failure to negotiate any serious bills in Congress and this would just add to the problem.
I saw that a couple years ago and thought it was fascinating. I learned a great deal more about the Depression just by watching that show. I have been trying to catch it but I am just going to DVR it. Also Red Dawn is playing again in anticipation of the remake out this week.
