Funny you should make that statement I was just thinking last night, where is our Abby Hoffman, Angela Davis, MLK, Andrew Young, Howard Zinns? Most, were protestors against the war, but is this not a just cause? Who is out there to protect the middle class? Who is going to take up the mantle? It could be they are so steeped in their religion that they prayed to God to help them pass and really thought he would answer their prayers, not taking in to account what they were doing was against the law. Sometimes these people and their christianity just does not make a bit of sense. Kind of like the prayer warriors praying for health care not to pass. What in hell would make them believe God does not want health care for all people?

This was true in the past, but today almost all major nations follow the Berne copyright convention. For example, in the USA, almost everything created privately and originally after April 1, 1989 is copyrighted and protected whether it has a notice or not. The default you should assume for other people’s works is that they are copyrighted and may not be copied unless you know otherwise.
