Go for it Javaz, a little clean up and your article is already written. » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 4:07 pm Excellent Bito. I have been looking at other movement’s platforms and it needs to be different, directed at the common people and no corp influence. They get involved and you lose your power. » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 3:59 pm I get it. We are on the same track. Do you want to start the dialogue with an article? I know exactly what you are thinking. It would be so nice to sit down and talk with a really good activist. » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 3:53 pm oh but I am sometimes. I cannot fathom how that just flew out of my brain. Sometimes I don’t know about me. But I do appreciate your support. One thing that is bothering me is that I signed Boxer’s website and offered to help. All they have asked for is money. Does she think she does not need help? Puzzling. » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 3:38 pm I am with you. I am looking at platforms that have been stated for certain groups to get a feel for what they stand for. Most are lofty, directed at government and limiting the government’s power. The way I see that is it plays right in to the hands of the corp giants. It is their desire for complete control so while some of the teabaggers might think their goal is lofty, they are playing right in to corp hands. If we can somehow move away from that and truly fight for the middle american, we might have something to go on……….. » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 3:35 pm See my note above………. » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 3:29 pm Sorry, I was thinking long term presidential election. You are all right the elections this year, what a dummy I am sometimes. I was just thinking long term………sometimes I am a bit slow. » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 3:28 pm We have 2 years until the 2012 primaries heat up………………….to make some kind of inroad in to the debate. » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 3:06 pm See my note below. » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 3:03 pm Cher » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 3:02 pm I did a thumbs up for ya. » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 1:42 pm Wow, sorry to hear it. It just so happens that alot of us here used to truly enjoy that site until the tr0lls took over. After multiple times notifying people with nothing done, IMHO they condone it. I am not talking about the ones who just like to argue, but the nasty ones, bigots and such. And Arianna did nothing, absolutely nothing about it. There is no place for bigotry on a “progressive” site. » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 1:40 pm Those wheaties sure tasted good, especially Sunday night. Why even my grandson was rooting for the Saints. I really did not have a stake in the game, just wanted to see someone who had not won, finally win. On the other thing, maybe we can each work on letters then compare here. » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 1:36 pm Fascism? » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 11:56 am Your lips to God’s ears Javaz. My thought is to start writing activists and feel them out. What do you say? » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 11:53 am To tell the truth Jan, I did go over to take a look at the headline. I was more or less disappointed that a state such as NM would follow PuffHo’s lead. I mean this is something they could have done on their own, why wait for a year and a half to “punish” the big banks? Why did they not make this move way back in 2008 or early 2009? I certainly understand and applaud a decision like this if made under their own power, but to jump on PuffHo’s bandwagon to me makes them look like sheep. » Posted By SueInCa On February 10, 2010 @ 11:47 am Jan » Posted By SueInCa On February 9, 2010 @ 8:57 pm Perhaps she is in a safe district. I know her district is predominately older voters and she has won favorably for awhile now. » Posted By SueInCa On February 9, 2010 @ 8:27 pm Hey Bito How are you doing? Hanging in there, I hope. I say a little prayer for you every day. » Posted By SueInCa On February 9, 2010 @ 8:01 pm I really like her even though I am in CA. I would never vote for McClintock. In fact if he was drowning in a river and I had the only lifesaver, I would rip it into pieces then throw it to him. » Posted By SueInCa On February 9, 2010 @ 7:57 pm Onstar can be used by Law Enforcement and probably anyone who can pull the right strings and that is creepy. The people who man those screens are regular people and could be bought off pretty easily by someone who knows how to push the right buttons. I am naturally suspicious about alot of things people will do for money and criminal activity is just one of them. » Posted By SueInCa On February 9, 2010 @ 7:55 pm I chose I looked for John Lewis but he was not on the list. I also did not see Debbie Wasserman Schultz, she would have been a pick of mine as well. » Posted By SueInCa On February 9, 2010 @ 7:45 pm more greed from the right. No stimulus package but give us our share anyway http://www.citizensforethics.org/node/44114 » Posted By SueInCa On February 9, 2010 @ 12:21 pm It is funny when you really do some background research how simple things like two commentators talking about jobs riles you up. David Schuster had two such guys on this morning, one from the Heritage Foundation. Now tell me how he would be a jobs expert or non-biased about Bush working with that Christian Rightwing think tank? But Schuster who I normally like tried to pull it off. In his defense, he did correct statements made by the rightwinger and he does that alot. Perhaps it is good strategy on his part, but people who do not know the background on that organization would probably think he was just being obstinate with the guy. » Posted By SueInCa On February 9, 2010 @ 11:24 am Give me a water ski or a surfboard/boogie board any day over snow skis » Posted By SueInCa On February 9, 2010 @ 11:19 am Take it easy, sunny days are acoming LOL. But enjoy the wine and a fire if you have a fireplace. I like this weather in the appropriate season. But I hate snow. We lived in it for three years and I grew to hate it even more. I like being warm, hence my tropical vacations. » Posted By SueInCa On February 9, 2010 @ 11:17 am Auntie Taylor and Pat Robertson According to a 2 June 1999, article in The Virginian-Pilot,[35] Taylor had extensive business dealings with American televangelist Pat Robertson. According to the article, Taylor gave Robertson (who also had business dealings with dictator Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire) the rights to mine for diamonds in Liberia’s mineral-rich countryside. According to two Operation Blessing pilots who reported this incident to the Commonwealth of Virginia for investigation in 1994, Robertson used his Operation Blessing planes to haul diamond-mining equipment to Robertson’s mines in Liberia, despite the fact that Robertson was telling his 700 Club viewers that the planes were sending relief supplies to the victims of the genocide in Rwanda. The subsequent investigation by the Commonwealth of Virginia concluded that Robertson diverted his ministry’s donations to the Liberian diamond-mining operation, but Attorney General of Virginia Mark Earley blocked any potential prosecution against Robertson, as the relief supplies were also sent. » Posted By SueInCa On February 9, 2010 @ 10:37 am It is rainy and overcast here in Northern California » Posted By SueInCa On February 9, 2010 @ 10:20 amComments Posted By SueInCa
Simple as that with a slogan like Bito suggested………………..
oops like Cher said
I was thinking of Choice Lady as well, maybe not to take the reigns on this but to give some insight in to how to go about it. Now, who wants to write the article to get the dialogue going? I will if no one else wants to, or Javaz can do it.
With that said, I hope you do not decide to leave. None of us have our comments replied to all the time. I did respond to another of yours last night and even voted in the poll. I hope my negative response to the action is taken in the spirit of open conversation.
It is John “Could You Be Love” Marley. I love his music, actually most reggae.
It could also be used as a big brother thing but so can alot of other things we do. Watch for the DMV to start issuing chips in your DL. DHS has already issued a requirement for the states. In fact Nevada is already read to issue the DL’s

You won’t need a passport after that happens. It is called the RealID Act.

Can i use this for my upcoming series on the religious right? Here is a bit in a comment on the article. I knew about the diamond mines and the Operation Blessing rumors but did not know about this VA Attorney General investigation. With the outcome, I would bet dollars to donuts the AG is a right wing religious nut as well. Examination of his background deserves some time on my part.
