PW I am such a Windows person, I forgot all about those F keys. Believe it or not I hated windows at first. I used DB4 and Lotus and was used to typing commands……..

Cher
Wow you really got that movie. I was only freaked out by the flying monkeys and silver soldiers. Those damn monkeys scared the heck out of me. Just creepy.

Well I will keep her and you in my thoughts so everything will be fine.

No, they said as soon as I could dress myself I could leave. I managed to stay awake long enough to dress and leave the hospital but I slept all the way home and on to the next morning. I don’t need large doses of any drug to feel the effects though.

Boomer
Our dog bounces up against the bed to wake up my husband and he does not quit until Tony gets up. He could jump on the bed but he thinks bouncing is more fun, I guess.

I felt the same way when I came over here just about posting a comment. Once I took the plunge and actually wrote something, I realized we all have something to say, we just say it in different ways.

I had a laproscopy for something else. The drugs they gave me kept me knocked out for 24 hours but the lap(thingee) was not bad at all. It healed within a week. Very non-invasive. I hope that helps

AB We made it especially for you. Sam Kinneson had a married joke. As soon as you get married, the wife takes your…..and says, “If you need it, it will be in my purse or the refigerator”. It was funny because my husband says, I work for her(meaning me) all the time.

AB
Look in your purse, I am sure it is there. We keep everything in our purses, right? Welcome back

Mississippi is planning a license plate honoring the original founder of the KKK. Who says you can’t “take back your country”? Back to the pre-civil rights days for some. On another note, are they not aware that the KKK was born in Pulaski Tennessee?

Cheney and Rumsfeld boo’d by CPAC attendees, reportedly Ron Paul supporters did the honors.

i have been following this in the Guardian. Now there is speculation that the Prince might not be happy with this new turn of events. It could be speculation and nothing else but it would be funny to see the Prince pull out.

Rupert Murdoch scandal in England is getting worse…..for him.

LONDON — British police revealed Wednesday it would contact thousands of people whose cell phones may have been targeted by the News of The World tabloid, an indication of the scale of the scandal at the heart of Rupert Murdoch’s media empire.

Police have long insisted only a small number of people were believed to have been have been spied upon by the tabloid, which employed a private detective to break into the voice mail boxes of the paper’s targets and eavesdrop on their private messages.

But that contention has been challenged by lawmakers, fellow journalists and former employees of the News of The World, who have claimed that the practice was widespread. There have also been allegations that police were hiding the full scale of the phone hacking operation for fear of jeopardizing its relationship with the politically powerful tabloid. From Huffpo

Murdoch may have bitten off more than he could chew with bin Talal.

Haruko My husband watches MLB Hot Stove and they brought this guy up late last season. He is a dodo brain and the Orioles need to have a talk with him. There is no place for guns in the clubhouse. The rest, well he just sounds like a bagger/birther.

Abby
I remember when this first happened. If you really read the story you would have to have misgivings about what the police did but as usual on HP people jumped the shark and said, Bar – drinking – young man – drunk -his fault although there was nothing in the story to lead them to think that. I knew when I read it, something was not quite right.

So this is the childish antics the R’s waste state money and time on? GROW UP, is what I say. If they were in my state, they would get a letter from me.

Click the “add an image to your comment by clicking here”. You will get a notice(more than likely) asking if you want to allow a temporary version of the program, click on it(right at the top of the site below your toolbars. A dialogue box will pop up and you delete Undefined from the box and paste your link in the space. It looks like a dialogue box that you use to search for files on your hard drives.

It was superb. Great insight into the lack of understanding by the leaders of the world regarding the citizen’s unrest, high food prices, housing issues etc. I saved the link.

I will still peruse it to see if there is a good story in there, you never know. I won’t give up on that aspect, but to write something on the whole report, well that is way above my expertise. From what I read of their dissent, it seemed like THEY were the ones who did not have a total grasp on the entire event. They claimed UI and layoffs did not start until Dec 2008, discredited right there. Maybe that is my story, discrediting their dissent hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
