I know that, it just struck me as assnine for these people who are taking handouts to criticize the government for exactly what they are partaking of.

Freedom Watch, IMHO is a terrorist organization

That was a very poor attempt at photo shopping. There is an aura around her body and the color of the body is way different than her face. with a different color lining the chest from the cleavage up. I do believe she is telling the truth.

The people of Cochabamba learned this the hard way, but they fought back and won. Known as the Water Wars of 2000 in Bolivia

Once again, the right is whining about the president and his family returning to his home town to celebrate the holidays. My friend says this to them:

We all have people like that we know. I just about fell out of my chair when they started talking redneck. Prior to that I was thinking these people will learn from this experience. What a fool I am lol

Poor family rednecks in Texas. Rich family husband was self made. He worked in energy futures/oil and opened his own firm after working as an intern of sorts for a few years out of college

Larry Klayman of Freedom watch seems to be announcing to the dingbats of this country that they will need to take up arms soon to defend against the big bad government. More like a dog whistle column for the baggers and libertarians.

I just watched a show called Two Americas on Current. It was showing the contrast between two (loving) families, one very rich, the other living on UI and scratching for every last penny.

I was just about to feel sorry for the poor family when what should happen but that they watched the republican debate and agreed with Newt that UI should not be given to people. This family was currently receiving UI lol. When questioned about how they reconcile that with their current situation(the father had gotten 75 that day from some agency to pay their light bill) he said, “the government should not pay us, if they were not doing it, someone else would”

That is when I got pissed and stopped feeling empathy for this couple. Just who in the hell does he think is going to give UI for an extended period of time? My god, these people are so incredible. Oh and each of them had a pretty nice pickup and the daddy had his smokes. She said to him, “rich people pay the same taxes as we do”. I just got a dose of republicans as we always talk and sometimes joke about.

And you know what? In this scenario I liked the rich couple more. They came from humble beginnings. He, a first gen Mexican, she from a family that used food stamps and lived from time to time in their car. These two understood what it means to be poor and instead of just moving on with their wealth, they gave back to their community, spent quality time with their children and were basically humble. And not stupid enough to make the kind of comments the other couple made on national TV.

And now he and The Trump/Pimp are going to choose 10 lucky children out of an inner city school to be apprenti. Yeah I know that is not a word, the Pimp used it in a news presser with the Newt

True but since when does working for a corp mean you have to give up your principles? Since we all allowed it to happen.

» Posted By SueInCa On December 5, 2011 @ 2:09 pm

LOL Bito I hear that and most homicides are pretty sure bets. It may be the detectives just spoke too early because an autopsy was performed as well a toxicology tests ordered. But then you have to worry about government officials trying to cover it up if it is true and it was a homocide. No one mentioned the family….they could certainly put the pressure on the police.

» Posted By SueInCa On December 5, 2011 @ 2:00 pm

Bito

When they enter a crime scene, there are usually pretty obvious signs. Not to say it could have been missed, but it would have to be some pretty dumb cops to miss signs of foul play. Toxicology tests can also point to foul play. I think they just meant no obvious signs

» Posted By SueInCa On December 5, 2011 @ 1:13 pm

The problem with this is people do not seem to even be aware. I don’t watch much of the pundits anymore but what little I have, I have not seen any real fire from any Dems

Khirad

I liked this part too

“He didn’t get whiplash being a serial adulterer while impeaching another serial adulterer, a lobbyist for Freddie Mac while attacking Freddie Mac, a self-professed fiscal conservative with a whopping Tiffany’s credit line, and an anti-Communist Army brat who supported the Vietnam War but dodged it.”

http://motherjones.com/politics/2011/12/war-voting-comes-washington

It seems Republicans cannot get enough of voter suppression. They want to now kill the EAC, a group that was formed as a result of the disasterous 2000 election.
