Displaying 0 To 0 Of 0 Comments She is a very strong lady. This just shows how beat down people can get out there when they are trying so hard. Lets hope she is one of the walking proof that things are turning around! » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 8:49 pm Thank you, Funk. She has been looking and going on so many interviews for so long. She certainly wasn’t lazy and couldn’t live on unemployment alone as the Repugs seem to think. Nor did she need a drug test because she couldn’t afford any! With jobs so hard to find, people get really depressed and don’t deserve these jerks calling them names on top of everything. But, thank you again, Funk! » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 8:44 pm Cher, as you said we know there is no validity but I think it is the infringement on ones belief after they are dead and can no longer fight or laugh them off that is a bother. Who are they to enforce such on someone when they are down? (pun intended) » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 8:33 pm AdLib, I just wanted to tell you that my daughter started her new job today! It is only for 7 months but may work into something permanent. We are so happy for her because she has been so depressed as I told you a couple of weeks ago. She was having a real crying spell with me Monday and the phone rang and the job she had interviewed for that morning was calling to say she got the job. YEAH!! Just wanted to share that. » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 8:19 pm YEAH!!!! » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 7:47 pm Kes, no she wasn’t a tour guide, although there was one. She just happen to be at the new temple at the same time as I was and joined me and my girls for a little while. I have to say she was very nice. She was young as this was the time when her and Donny had their show on TV. I remember that her complexion was so beautiful! I told her I wasn’t Mormon (you know how I kept telling everyone that!). She said that was okay and hoped I was enjoying the tour. She left shortly after with her bodyguards. (They probably were afraid my cooties might get on her.) I didn’t ask for an autograph because I didn’t think it was the right time or place. I may not be Mormon but I do have a little class…. » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 7:40 pm OMG! Lawrence Odonnell just said that the Mormons have baptised Hitler!!!! Anne Frank! And, PRESIDENT OBAMA’S MOTHER!!!! Tell me this isn’t true!!!! » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 7:27 pm Kes, I am with you. I think Santorum is dangerous. You can see it in his face that he believes strongly in all he is saying. It is not a change in course to get elected. This guy means it! He would put us women in gingham aprons, home with a dozen kids, and voting as our husband’s instructed. » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 7:16 pm π See you later! » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 7:09 pm Well, there you go! I saw the one with the whole golden oxes. I did say, “Wow, that is some hot tub!” I got lots of dirty looks but Marie only smiled. Okay, I will stop bragging….. » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 7:02 pm Kalima, I hope you don’t think I was ignoring your hard work. I read yours first! I just wanted to make a comment separate from yours since I put “Hitler” in mine. π³ » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 6:53 pm Colbert was funny! I saw it last night but thanks for posting it here. You are right about the religious beliefs of another trying to enforce their beliefs on women. Religion is a freedom but not the rule maker of a free nation. » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 6:50 pm I have seen the room and it is a beautiful room with all the grandeur one can imagine. (If I remember right, there was a lot of gold and a giant marble hot tub!) In fact I saw the room with Marie Osmond, believe it or not! They allow tours of certain sections of new temples built. You should see the locker room where you have to change into the temple garments once the temple has been blessed and closed to the public. I was there on a tour with Marie! You guys impressed???? π » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 6:46 pm KQ, I think it says a lot that he was part of the baptism (and he would have had to be there) of his father-in-law, who was an Atheist by the man’s choice. It shows that an individuals choice does not matter and that he/them can enforce their beliefs on others regardless. Of course, I don’t think they can capture a soul but it does say a lot that they think they can! He doesn’t speak of his religion but as you say, he should answer some questions that maybe out there about how he was raised. This capturing of souls is not the only egotistic thinking of this particular religion. I know all religion can be questioned by another. However, President Kennedy, when running for president did have to make a statement that he would not take his directions from Rome on how to govern the United States and, as you stated, President Obama had to address Wright and reverse racism when he was running. » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 6:37 pm No, CL, it is not a one time mistake. I think it is an egotistical belief on this Church’s part to think that they can capture souls. Of course I don’t believe they can. But, I did tell a friend of mine that was Mormon (funny underwear and all) that when I die and I go to the place I think I will go and I am partying, drinking, and dancing up a storm, and someone comes and tells me I now have to go to the Mormon side because I have been baptised as one, well, all Hell will break loose in Heaven! π » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 6:22 pm Boy, I’d say the Mormons have a lot of nerve here: http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/02/15/us-mormons-apology-wiesenthal-idUSTRE81E03S20120215 Is there a way another religion could posthumous baptisms Hitler a Mormon? How would they like that? Oh, that is even to mean for them!Sorry….. π³ » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 5:56 pm Why, thank you, Funk! I like reading his point of view and the comments. » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 5:41 pm Funk, I don’t know if you are interesting in reading more but I found this article coming at it from a different point but getting to the same end. It is written by Panagiotis Sotiris who is an academic and activist who lives on the island of Crete, Greece. He is popular on Facebook but I found the article on-line. I won’t keep posting because I am sure you are up on things already but I thought you might like to read from someone there. » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 5:14 pm By George, KQ, I think we might just be! » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 4:29 pm AdLib, Stephen Lendman thinks Greece should use the Argentina’s solution. I posted the article if you would like to read the whole. “It desperately needs Argentina’s solution. Nothing else offers hope. In December 2001, facing economic collapse, Buenos Aires halted all debt payments to domestic and foreign creditors. http://sjlendman.blogspot.com/2012/02/financial-oligarch-power-raping-greece.html » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 4:26 pm KT, I don’t even want to think about what would happen if one of these men were elected POTUS. But, I will have very little faith left in the American People if they elect one of these for President! We would have too many here that must have lost their minds and that is dangerous! » Posted By SallyT On February 15, 2012 @ 3:26 pm Got it, CL! Romney doesn’t apparently have much to point to in MASS. » Posted By SallyT On February 14, 2012 @ 8:02 pm AdLib, I agree with you on all that. I always find it amazing how many claim to have been someone’s friend after they are dead. But, where were they when that person was hurting, suffering, in need of help and support during their troubling times? I hope that they were there for her but if they weren’t, well, now is not the time to proclaim you were her friend. You are too late! » Posted By SallyT On February 14, 2012 @ 6:03 pm I think Nevada is offering free poker chips to Arizona to take him. » Posted By SallyT On February 14, 2012 @ 5:23 pm Looks like Romneycare is the only thing he should run on. » Posted By SallyT On February 14, 2012 @ 5:14 pm KQ, all those savings and cost cuts are yet to be realized, aren’t they. The more people get familar with it and the benefits they have already, like children staying on HC until 26 and preconditions not rejected, the harder it will be to take it away. It is a shame that so much has had to wait until 2014. I like articles like this one getting out there. » Posted By SallyT On February 14, 2012 @ 5:13 pm KQ, how the heck do you do that??!! You have those laughing guys laughing down the page! You are a clever guy! I have just got the smilie guy down. (But, I bookmarked that page you gave me of all the others! But, they don’t do that!) » Posted By SallyT On February 13, 2012 @ 11:01 pm AdLib, don’t be so mean to cereal! You are giving them a bad taste! π » Posted By SallyT On February 13, 2012 @ 10:13 pm Oh, gee, I hope it isn’t anything serious. I was wanting it to be a vacation. Bito, if you check messages, I was just missing you and I hope all is well and you will be back soon. » Posted By SallyT On February 13, 2012 @ 9:55 pm Kes, Mansion would never bite Kes. He would just give you big washrag kisses. I can’t even think of anything Hitchcock did that could come close to Bushie. » Posted By SallyT On February 13, 2012 @ 8:44 pmComments Posted By SallyT
You know I appreciate all you do and you are always ahead of me! π
Months earlier, IMF loans deepened the country’s burden. Finally, $100 billion in debt was restructured. In 2005, it was completed on a take it or leave it basis.
Stiff haircuts were imposed on creditors of around 65%. Most decided something was better than nothing. In 2010, holdouts finally capitulated on similar terms.”
And, Whitney was nearly broke at the time of her death. She never wrote her own songs, never produced them, and never owned the rights. Those people will still be making money off of her. And, those raising the cost of her performances should be, as you said, thrown into that pool of piranhas.
