Just every once in a while I have a pic of my own that might be valuable for emphasis. I do my own photography.

Gotta figure out how navigate and find out where people are hanging out, but this looks like a winner to me.

I’m a big fan of rational discussion, especially with people that may not agree with me.

As many know, that whole corporations are legal entities was NEVER a result of a SCOTUS decision. It was added by a clerk without the SCOTUS’s klnowledge and got signed into law. I forget the case.

Before that time, all businesses had to justify their existence and show good to the community to have their licenses renewed.

When a corporation can have an appondectemy or a baby, or even, oh, I don’t know… BREATHE, then we’ll see.

Used in Live Chat rooms.

You see a list of people in the room in a window at all times, real time.

If you want to ignore someone, you just rightclick on thier name and select Ignore.

TYou never see a post by that person again, as long as they are there.

If they leave and come back, you have to do it again, but, hey, nothing’s perfect!

Got to be honest. I am a professional Business Consultant. And while I completely understand about no advertising on a blog like this… i.e., posting articles with an eye towards getting business, I would half expect a few people wanting to use my expertise. I charge actual $$ for that.

Having said that, with all the stories and issues surrounding business and how it is screwing up our country in so many ways, there is a reality that business IS the heartblood of America. Done right, it is an invaluable asset. Understanding how a business really works, how it should work, how it makes reall profits, and how – by treating people the right way – businesses can make more than they ever thought possible might be a thing a lot of folks might be interested in.

I would never solicit directly or indirectly, but I might get some inquiries.

Any problem with that?

Here’s the comment I left over at the HP this morning as best I can remember it, since it never saw the light of day:

I have been in electronics and th computer field since the early 70’s, before PCs even existed.

At first, I was on CompuServe, and that got sold to Sears, which used it to rifle through people’s hard drives without their knowledge or consent, looking for marketing clues. Bad news, lots of lawsuits. Typical for Sears, though.

I was one of AOL’s first half-million subscribers, and still have the same SN that I started with. AOL has had its ups and downs, the TIME Warner merger being a big downer.

For all its faults, AOL’s live chat room technology is still the best I have ever seen, and I would love it if it could be duplicated on a site like this. The IGNORE button is just what everyone needs and never gets! LOL

I have no idea how the HP/AOL merger will pan out. Maybe it will be better than we think. Maybe it is a total corporate sellout. Only time will tell.

I’ll hang around HP for a while to see how it goes, but it looks to me like I’ll be searching for a better home.

(PS: Looks like I came to the right place!)
