Guns and gun ownership is so alien to me as I have lived in 3 countries for quite a length at a time, all where it is not allowed to buy, carry or own firearms, except for a special hunting license (which I’m against anyway) so this has never been a fear of mine growing up or as an adult. It is hard for those of us not subjected to this form of violence, to fully understand and the lack of adequate screening enabling just about any crazy Tom, Dick or Harry to obtain a gun is irresponsible and very frightening. Your constitution was written at a time when it was a right to bear arms for defense.
