Sally, just post it as you would on a music thread with the added “v”. Don’t forget to click on the Add media/Video option above your post.

Hi funk, just checked your article and everything looks fine to me. One thing though, we do like to have a graphic image at the top center of the post, and if you don’t have something you want to use, we will choose one for you when you send it in for review. Otherwise great work again, and thank you for doing it.

Hi ppo, I’m no tech genius unfortunately and don’t know why, but did you try clearing your Cache and your Cookies? It’s a solution that seems to work on many problems here.

I will pass this on to AdLib who I’m sure will have a much better answer for you.

Have no idea what POB stands for, sorry. 🙁

No, she was talking about how they appeared in “Preview” when she had finished her post. WordPress has it ‘a perks and it ‘s limits too. Some things we can improve but many we can ‘t, and Sally posts over 200 cartoons each week, so if they seem stretched or squeezed then it would be far too much work to adjust each one. As long as members can see them and read the captions, then I think that she has done her work well.

Remember we are a voluntary site and don’t rely on advertisers or hedge funds. We do what we can with what we have and what we can afford. No bells or whistles here, just passionate members talking about issues, and trying to make a difference.

Hello PW, I don’t quite understand the problem because I don’t see a post of yours in Draft. Are you taking about an image in your comment?

To put an image into your comment, you need to enter the URL into the drop down box after you click on Add an Image under your comment box before you submit. If your image has no URL, go to your Dashboard, click on Media on the far left column on your screen, then click + add new, and upload your image to Media Library. Once uploaded you will find a Planetpov URL in Edit, copy that URL into the drop down box after you have clicked on Add Image, and submit. Jpg works best on WordPress. Hope it helps. It might sound complicated but once you ‘ve done it, it’s a simple as riding a bike.

I see them Sally, they were all there, so I’m afraid the only thing I can think of is that “Preview” is not functioning properly on some computers, otherwise how can I see them and you can’t?

I’m not Techy, so maybe AdLib can look into it again.
I have checked “Preview” twice now and found them all there and all intact. Finger crossed they will stay that way for the morning.

Are you going in again, if you are please let me know here because your post will need to be updated.

Sally. I just edited and scheduled your post for the morning, and in Preview all your cartoons are there and I see no problem with them at all. Maybe it is something with your computer?

Hi Sally, yes I had a bit of a problem with spacing on my new MB post, so I’ll mention it to AdLib, and will check the next time I edit your post.

WordPress is very mysterious to me too sometimes.They have logged me out 4 times today. 🙂

Hi Sally, I edited and scheduled your post last week and didn’t touch the actual contents of the post. I published the one you had sent into Pending for review. I have no idea what happened to your lines, sorry.

Will check for it the next time though.

I just checked them on my mobile and they looked fine to me except for the odd one or two. You could always try to double space them twice if they don’t look far enough apart to you.

I get my notifications all the time so it must be something with your end. Maybe AdLib has an explanation for it later.

Yes it was heartwarming that so many people came to pay their respects to KQ. Some people get burned out and just stop blogging altogether, others didn’t blog that much in the first place, or become busy with other aspects of their lives and have no time to blog.

Murph, click on your Profile Page from your links “Links for Murph” just under the “Donate To PlanetPOV”. Scroll down and you with see “Email Preference”, then make sure the boxes are ticked to receive alerts and comment notification.

Your original post would just become too long and a bit difficult to follow if you add too much to it. Go to Google images and type in “George and Mitt Romney together”, there are plenty of images. Just be sure to check the copyright specifications posted to the right hand side before you use the image.
