I too need to create my own film for screenprinting… I have recently purchased a computer halftone wizard, and Yes, inkjet can produce a fine halftone for film neg or positive…. The biggest thing with inkjet, is the largest clear or vellum film is only as large as tabloid…. Man if you are able to find the chemicals and film when you do get back into 35mm camera, It may be an antique just as the film and chemicals to develope your photos….
