They gave him a boot, but he hated it .. he said it was really uncomfortable .. so now he is wearing a lace-up brace.

» Posted By Haruko Haruhara On May 17, 2011 @ 7:10 pm

He was only 3 months old in that photo. You can imagine how huge he is now.

» Posted By Haruko Haruhara On May 17, 2011 @ 7:09 pm

He went out climbing today … and he has a stress fracture in his tibia. 🙁

Harmon Killebrew died today. 🙁

» Posted By Haruko Haruhara On May 17, 2011 @ 2:14 pm

I was posting nice things about the Red Sox on another site and someone called me a “Masshole.” 🙁

» Posted By Haruko Haruhara On May 17, 2011 @ 2:11 pm

About half of those are BRILLIANT!

But, was the “Free Charlie Sheen” one really from that rally?

» Posted By Haruko Haruhara On May 16, 2011 @ 12:33 pm

There were some horrible trolls posting stuff about “I can’t believe my tax dollars were paying for her flight and for her medical care.. blah .. blah” and “she should resign, she has no business being in office, is she still drawing a paycheque …blah .. blah…”

Such an inspirational moment, but some people are beyond inspiration, I guess. Sometimes I weep for humanity.

“Professional blog warfare?”

Are these people for real?

So sad. Derek Boogaard died yesterday. He was only 28. I wonder if it was something similar to Bob Probert dying from head trauma complications.

Beg pardon, I’m feeling goofy and shy.

We have his 1968 DVD

For Cher.

I’ll go away now

» Posted By Haruko Haruhara On May 10, 2011 @ 9:50 pm

Yeah, it’s pretty darn cute to see how his sister tears up talking about seeing Elvis Presley in the FRONT ROW in Las Vegas in 1972, because of his da’s Wise Guy pals. She was only 16 at the time.

» Posted By Haruko Haruhara On May 10, 2011 @ 9:04 pm

Hi, Cher, missed you!

Pepe says he has a lot in common with you!

PS — he told me all these stories about sitting on Sam Peckinpagh’s lap in his parents’ mob restaurant and I thought “he MUST be making this up,” but then his mom told me when I cornered her privately … “No, that really happened…”

This is cool, too.

Sean Avery, who is NOT my favourite guy … made a very cool commercial for a campaign to allow gay marriage in New York.

Maybe I have misjudged him.

This is very cool.

In Montana, the Republicans tried to cut funding for CHIP, which is BLOODY HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR CHILDREN!!!!!!!!

The governor vetoed it.

The Republicans prove again … they love fetuses. They hate children.

Ganymede is the biggest moon. Titan is the second biggest.

Titan just sounds bigger. 😀

Those are called jackfish in Canada.

» Posted By Haruko Haruhara On May 9, 2011 @ 12:50 pm

Yes, Canadian tourists continue to be clueless about that.

» Posted By Haruko Haruhara On May 9, 2011 @ 12:49 pm

Hey, we’re seeing it in a couple of weeks.

Busy week. Foo Fighters and Wicked.

» Posted By Haruko Haruhara On May 7, 2011 @ 1:36 pm

Hey, KQuark, you’ll like this!

Sean Avery, who has a track record in the NHL as being a ROARING butthead (he is the guy made infamous by the “sloppy seconds” interview), made a video supporting the same-sex marriage campaign in New York.

http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nhl/news/story?id=6501411

Maybe he’s not so bad after all.

Hee Hee 😆

ORANGEBURG, S.C. — Colin Powell told graduates of South Carolina’s premier historically black university that they were graduating during a tumultuous time that saw a royal wedding, the beatification of a pope and a U.S. military assault that killed Osama bin Laden, “the worst person on earth.”

But the former secretary of state and Joint Chiefs chairman told the 400 graduates of South Carolina State University that he particularly enjoyed another event of the past week:

“That was when President Obama took out his birth certificate and blew away Donald Trump and all the birthers!”

😆 😆

DISGUSTING!

“A Southeast Texas school has put a teacher on leave pending an investigation into an allegation that he asked an American-born Muslim student if she was grieving because her “uncle” had died, referring to Osama bin Laden, a school district spokeswoman said Wednesday.”

I go to Austin, then they lasso us into a bunch of SUVs apparently and we drive down to SA, listening to Kenny Chesney on the Bose sound system and eating Tex Mex.
