He was just playing a game of “gotchya.” » Posted By Haruko Haruhara On February 13, 2011 @ 6:51 pm Personal attack! » Posted By Haruko Haruhara On February 13, 2011 @ 6:49 pm He isn’t on the channel, he’s on their website, like 16 hours a day. They might as well change their name to FunkyTV.com now! 🙂 » Posted By Haruko Haruhara On February 13, 2011 @ 6:43 pm I like Current.com, too, but they got a BIG problem on their hands. 😆 » Posted By Haruko Haruhara On February 13, 2011 @ 6:42 pm Hi, Feisty! » Posted By Haruko Haruhara On February 13, 2011 @ 6:38 pm Funky is ALL OVER Current! » Posted By Haruko Haruhara On February 13, 2011 @ 6:37 pm One thing I’ve been struck by in wandering the “HP Wilderness,” so to speak ever since September, is how few trolls other “progressive” sites have in comparison with HP. I’ve heard Yahoo.news and topix are lousy with trolls, but I wouldn’t know. I just know I look at this site and others that are similar; they have very few trolls. There’s another commercial site I’ve looked at lately that is having a heated debate about bannings, but they don’t have near the trolls that HP does. And yet, HP was INFESTED with obnoxious, baiting trolls. It was just people looking to rile other people up and people looking for attention. A lot of them would whine incessantly about how much they hated the mods, hated the badges, hated liberals, but they keep coming back to HP over and over, so on some level, they must love it. I keep wondering why HP had so many? Are the headlines written specifically to attract and inflame trolls and keep clicks going? Are the trolls secretly welcomed with open arms there because they help drive clicks? I really came to appreciate what a waste it is to spend time online banging your head against the brick wall of emotionally undeveloped people like that. I really think that whether they intended to or not, HP has created an environment that caters to people like that. Thank you for letting me come here. 🙂 » Posted By Haruko Haruhara On February 13, 2011 @ 6:00 pm No, it wasn’t. It really wasn’t. But it was damned annoying. It felt like he was polluting every thread on HP with that stuff, sometimes for 18 hours a day. It got ridiculous. I couldn’t understand why they were allowing it. » Posted By Haruko Haruhara On February 13, 2011 @ 5:16 pm There was one commenter there who was posting the same 10 or 12 comments over and over and over literally — LITERALLY — hundreds of times. They kept letting him get away with that. » Posted By Haruko Haruhara On February 13, 2011 @ 5:10 pm Everything from “Over There” belongs “Here!” What I want to say to HP … did you really think all your regulars were going to just keep putting up with all the moderation and silly word filters … FOREVER? » Posted By Haruko Haruhara On February 14, 2011 @ 12:47 pm Actually, a really, really feisty little meerkat knows you better. 🙂 » Posted By Haruko Haruhara On February 13, 2011 @ 5:25 pm Hi, Kelly!
