After health care reform passed, I sure noticed a dramatic dropoff in trolls. I blame all the “social news,” bells and whistles, the fanning, the badges (especially the CM2 badges). You will get cliques forming on any Web site, but all those “toys” just poured kerosene on the fire, and it got incredibly ugly. The fanning feature in particular really created a monster, especially with a certain poster.
