No, that’s not what I mean, Abbey.

It’s that Hitler is considered the ultimate embodiment of human evil, Goebbels is not.

Rightly or wrongly, this makes comparing someone to Hitler, regardless of veracity, perhaps the most offensive insult one can give.

Bill Maher is kinda like George Carlin – except Carlin was much funnier. They both shared many of the same beliefs, etc.

They both grew old and disillusioned.

George grew bitter and angry, but eventually seemed to calm down.

Bill is growing more smug and complacent and the rest is to be seen.

I completely disagree. Cenk is bombastic. It’s his nature and I’m not going to fault him for that, but it’s upped when he’s on TV and that’s not a good thing.

If you watch some of his online stuff, he is very intelligent.

Also, Cenk isn’t a Journalist/ Commentator combo like Greenwald, he’s a Commentator.

Lastly, Cenk gives Obama credit for what he does right.

It’s just that Cenk thinks that Obama isn’t drawing lines on what he belives are key issues. Banks, etc.

Watch his web-show. He’s much better there.

Unlike Ed, Cenk is able to give incredibly incisive analysis, but TV is not good for him.

Oh, he is.

I’ve been watching his web-show for over a year now and he is most definitely a liberal.

He’s much more bombastic on MSNBC though.

Also, I saw Cenk gradually lose confidence in Obama over a long period of time and, TBH, he makes some good points.

However, the thing that Cenk values most is strength of conviction and the ability to draw a line; and you’ve got to admit that Obama has some trouble with that.
