Time Out for O/T – Vol. 16

Don’t worry, I’ve got my “get rich quick” schemes at the ready!

Hey, Guys, if you have the time I’d like to hear your opinions on this:

Teachers Can Mock Creationism – Court

I’m not sure about this one.

Perhaps a thread like Khirad’s one on the Mid-East could be posted in the Speakers Corner?

Thanks.

P.S.

I’m a guy, though I have played a girl on stage. 😉

Sorry for the confusion. (^_^’)

It’s a double degree Bachelor of Arts course, though you study three subjects in first year, or you can transfer into a single degree.

I have a month or so at the beginning of the year to choose three subjects out of about 20 or so, ranging from Law to Mathematical Physics.

One of my three will probably be German, because having a third language is very useful and I like German.

Other than that, I’m not entirely sure, though History and Anthropology both look interesting. I also like mathematics, but I have to work much harder at that than I do in most subjects. Maths and my memory don’t get along with each other.

You have a way with graphics, KQ.

Thanks, Cher!

Ascetically, I agree. It kind of elongates the posts and draws attention to itself.

Moderation is always a trade off though, and it is sometimes necessary.

I’ve accepted a college offer. My first choice, no less. Fantastic!

Ask either of them, it doesn’t matter which one, what will the other twin say when asked which road leads to heaven, then go down the other road.

Nice!

“Remember the time when (insert child’s name here) did (insert funny/embarrassing act here).”

*Describe the act in great detail, including the reactions from multiple people*

“Now aren’t we glad that (insert child’s name here) has grown out of that!”

It works better the more recent the act. 🙂

Ha!

» Posted By Caru On August 20, 2011 @ 3:13 pm

That was very interesting.

Well, that’s as good a reason as any.

If I tried hard, I could probably do some good stuff. My main failing is laziness and procrastination. But I’m working on it. I got up before lunchtime today! 🙂

» Posted By Caru On August 13, 2011 @ 12:46 pm

Lol.

» Posted By Caru On August 13, 2011 @ 12:41 pm

It was a lot of fun!

I was out most of the day, myself and a friend of mine spent a few hours trawling through the innumerable book stores in the city.

If you want a book on English furniture between 1500 and 1850, I know where to get you one.

Aww, that’s just disturbing.

» Posted By Caru On August 13, 2011 @ 12:04 pm

Lol, thanks jk. I won’t speak for them, but I sure hope that they are. My mother’s still smarter than me though, and my father’s more knowledgeable and practical.

It think I got stuck somewhere in between the two.
