Time Out for O/T – Vol. 15

I just need to get this off my chest. I was posting on HP when I saw a post that advocated killing republicans. I flagged and reported it. I watched and the post was still up. Someone responded to me and said I was the second mod to respond to the post and she hoped I had flagged it. I did a separate post to her stating that advocating violence or killing should never be tolerated and that I had flagged and reported it. Once the post went up fans of mine went and flagged the offending post. A mod2, who happens to be a friend, responded to the offending post, but took over 5 minutes for them to actually delete the post. Sorry, I am just so upset and am in tears over this incident.

Wow, sorry to hear that Kitty. I have heard about things like that happening, but never witnessed it. I know if it happened to a friend of mine I would go ballistic on the poster. I have only gone off on one person and it was Funky. It happened in the music thread and I didn’t hold back telling him what I thought of him. I felt so good afterwards.

Huffy Spin Machine

I just sent an email asking what their guidelines are. I saw two post that advocated the death of bankers, which to my knowledge violated their guidelines. I am not expecting a response, but it made me feel better knowing I called them out on their hypocrisy.
