Displaying 0 To 0 Of 0 Comments Your Valentine’s Day open thread I didn’t intend to fall in love, but I’ll be damned if it didn’t happen to me whether I wanted to or not *grin*. » Posted By Aerows On February 14, 2011 @ 5:38 am I have nothing to say at HP for that very reason. I do not want to stir anyone up, I do not want to discourage others from visiting the site, I just feel that my sense of integrity would get extremely bent out of shape. I have over 1100 fans, and 12,000 posts at HP. I’m by no means a rabble rouser, and would like to be polite enough to part on good terms. I invested a lot at HP, however, and I am displeased by the turn it has taken. » Posted By Aerows On February 13, 2011 @ 4:51 pm Striking back at the Chamber of Commerce and their dirty tricks squad The point to this is not that internet privacy is a problem, because we all know that it is, rather the point is that we have government actively working hand in hand with private security companies to suppress journalists they disagree with. The Chamber of Commerce wants to silence people, and has active plans to do so. That’s what I take away from this story – it’s evidence of what we all knew, but couldn’t prove. » Posted By Aerows On February 12, 2011 @ 7:48 pm I have a bunch of friends from HP that I’ve shared my email with, but I wouldn’t touch Facebook with a ten foot pole. You just have to be smart about things. » Posted By Aerows On February 12, 2011 @ 7:45 pm WATCH LIVE: Mubarak Resigns! Egyptians Celebrate! I give the banks about 2 more huge bailouts – because you know they are going to need another one, and there WILL be Americans standing at their doors. Food prices are going up around the world, and Egypt won’t be the last to fall. » Posted By Aerows On February 11, 2011 @ 8:22 am Wasn’t he just saying he wasn’t going to resign? LOL. I love how people want to criticize the Obama Administration for not being “on-message” – how could anyone know what Mubarak was going to do? He doesn’t appear to know half the time, himself. I’m waiting for him to pop up in an hour or two and say “I changed my mind!” » Posted By Aerows On February 11, 2011 @ 8:14 am Tips For Newcomers (and Regulars Alike) Thanks for the tips, especially how to use my Avatar. It looks like all the people from HP have moved over here. I decided to join you all, too. » Posted By Aerows On February 11, 2011 @ 7:14 am Thank you so much. What a wonderful community. » Posted By Aerows On February 12, 2011 @ 2:01 pm I’ve done a good bit of reading on this – I’m unsure how to make a blog post on this site. I’m sure I’m missing something obvious, but I’m pretty dense at times. How do I make a blog post here? » Posted By Aerows On February 12, 2011 @ 1:13 pm I’m following this story of Aaron Barr, and HBGary, the Palantir, and Berico Technologies. This is amazing – it shows what we have all known – in that it demonstrates there are active big money campaigns and “security” firms to target progressive organizations. This is but a starting point, but they targeted people’s families and children. http://thinkprogress.org/2011/02/10/lobbyists-chamberleaks/ It’s amazing. Marcy Wheeler also has several comments. I would post it as a blog, but I’m new here, and didn’t want to rock the boat :D. » Posted By Aerows On February 12, 2011 @ 10:08 am I’m so glad I managed to find this site before they started the mass deletions of everyone mentioning it. LOL. All of the cool people are here 🙂 » Posted By Aerows On February 11, 2011 @ 11:29 amComments Posted By Aerows
