We’re an all volunteer site as you know so we would seek such a crew from the membership here. Not that it needs to be anything formal. As I’ve mentioned, we’re happy to give a commission to anyone who was able to sponsors or advertisers on board. I will say that everyone has been very generous during our donation drive which is making a huge difference. The more resources we have, the better a server we can afford and it would be nice to have the resources to help market and promote The Planet to more of our potential colleagues out there. For other sites like DailyMotion for example, use square brackets around the name of the site, a space, then only the video’s number, for example [dailymotion x882c0] Or…look for the embed code on any video at any site and copy and paste it into your comment. 2. The video appearing in front of the dropdown is unfortunately a local issue (your computer). What browser are you using? 3. The smiley controls are sitewide and for everyone by WordPress design, so either they’re on for everyone or they’re off for everyone. Sorry about that but honestly, compared to some other sites where the smiley thing is way overdone and really annoying, I really don’t feel it’s done in much excess here. Appreciate your understanding and patience on this. This latest version of WordPress has a bug in it, to plug up security holes they accidentally have a bug that strips out the HTML for images. I had applied the hotfix they created to solve it and it seemed to be working but now it looks like it isn’t. I have removed and reinstalled the hotfix, hopefully that has worked again. Please try one more time to insert your graphics, just try one so you don’t waste much more time on it. If it works, great. If not, please email me the content of your post, text with links to images and I will get them posted (this bug doesn’t seem to strip images when an Admin publishes). SOOOO sorry you’ve had to put up with this but it is a bit out of my hands to fix WordPress’ bug if their own hotfix fails. However, reinstalling it could have done the trick. Type the word or words you want to use as a link and select them. The Related Posts list is automated and should list similarly titled posts. If you’re pasting in the actual HTML language in your post then you need to be HTML mode or it won’t work. If you’re posting as from a Word doc or something that has embedded links that you don’t see, like hyperlinks where you just see the blue underlined word(s), you have to paste that in Visual mode only, it won’t work in HTML mode. Just reduce the size of the image you upload to no greater than a width of 600 px. Otherwise, the image file can be too big to appear/be displayed. 2. In Visual Mode, click the button with the link of a chain, in HTML mode, click the Link button.
3. Paste the desired url in the pop up box then click OK. Done!
2. Click that square icon just above the text entry area when you’re writing/editing a post. Click Upload then select that same graphic.
3. Once the graphic has uploaded, scroll to the bottom of it’s description box, click Use as Featured Image then Insert.
4. Click the Update button (The Publish button which changes to Update once a post is published).
