Today’s Historic House Vote on HCR – LIVE FEED AND BLOG

Imagine being in the gallery to watch this moment in history take place!

Nancy and other Dems have been inspiring (not to mention Obama). She and they know that this is indeed history many will read about and refer to in the future.

The Repubs have only fear and hate, not one iota of inspiration.

That’s the best single payer path I can think of!

Their “principles” are as fake as their tans.

Can I just say…and especially to KQ and bito…IT’S HAPPENING!!!

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 7:25 pm

Single payer has got to be down the line.

Yep! Imagine how draining it was to whip all these Dems in line on HCR!

A real heroine!

The 1st woman Speaker passing this historic legislation, SHE is an historic figure.

Cheers to Nancy!

Any truth to the rumor that the GOP is thinking of changing its mascot to Chicken Little screaming and engulfed in flames?

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 7:02 pm

On Fox: No clips from or talk about the HCR discussion going on, all about will the Dems lose 155 seats by using wack math derived from Scott Brown

Quoting Gerald Ford’s fear mongering? That’s scraping the bottom of the barrel.

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 6:31 pm

That’s today’s GOP for ya!

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 6:29 pm

Honestly, I can’t say I’ve seen one GOP member who comes across as honest or thoughtful.

Being dishonest and spiteful must be a job requirement.

Nah, it’s just the end of the line for American Idol auditions.

GOP ZOMBIES:

“Arrogance…socialism…freedom…start over…brains!”

Republican Rule #362: All sitting Democratic Presidents or Presidential Candidates are always the most pro-abortion, most liberal of all.

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 6:23 pm

Huh? America isn’t a country, it’s an idea?

Should we live in a country where government creates rights?

Ryan is a loon!

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 6:11 pm

You’re psychic!

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 6:07 pm

It seems Republican citizens have simply come to accept the game, whatever it takes, we need to win. Lies, racial hatred, whatever it takes, winning is everything.

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 6:05 pm

He just faxed in the words, “THEY LIE!”

Without having to look, I can also tell whenever a GOP Congressperson is from Texas. The hate, the lies, the haircut, the proud ignorance.

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 5:58 pm

Add to that the GOP Prescription drug plan that cost over $1 trillion without paying for it AND preventing freedom to Americans to buy cheaper drugs from out of the country.

And they’re bitching about taking away freedom now?

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 5:56 pm

I know I’m not objective but it seems so clear, the Dems talk about conscience and doing the right thing and the Reps talk about money and fear.

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 5:51 pm

The MSM may try to gloss over it but isn’t it so apparent that the GOP members are just outright lying from desperation?

Why can’t a single GOP member protest HCR without lying?

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 5:49 pm

Heh! The asshole Price accidentally said “Washingtoon”, so apt. These GOP idjits are 2 dimensional cartoon characters!

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 5:39 pm

Notice how when the GOP have polls that show a majority don’t want HCR, it is all about following the will of the people.

What about abortion rights, guys? A majority wants access and pro-choice, still care about what a majority of Americans wants?

Oh, and I hear that Obama, HCR and Progressive policies were voted in by a majority, what about them, guys?

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 5:38 pm

Debbie nailed it.

» Posted By AdLib On March 21, 2010 @ 5:32 pm

Not to mention their claims about caring about reform but doing nothing about when they were in control for 8 years and trying to block it now.
