Influential..TODAY or in the past? Today, I would think Maddow, Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer, And I must say…even though he isn’t ‘really’ a journalist, but a comedian…Jon Stewart and his staff…he was rated “the most trusted name in news” so HE is influential.

In the past? Dan Rather,Ted Koppel,Tim Russert, Walter Cronkite, Bob Woodward, Carl Bernstein, to name but a few.

My personal favorites today, would be Maddow and I like alot of web based resources, and writers although some of their names escape me right now.

So it looks like I am going to throw my hat in the ring for local town office. I meet the committee on Saturday. I hope I’m doing the right thing. Obviously I would be running as a Dem, and running for Town Clerk of my VERY large suburban town. Competition WILL be tough, as this town has pockets of very strong GOP support.
