Indeed. I had not come back after I signed up…and seriously it was because HP had become a bad habit….I had forgotten all the other great places to communicate.

It’s like an oasis. WHY I didn’t make the switch earlier is beyond me. I got the link to here from others before, and I did sign up but didn’t come back. I was so into the ‘habit’ of logging on to HP, I did it without thinking most of the time.

BUT for the last month, I’ve been getting more and more discouraged over there. It actually started before Christmas, that was when I started taking breaks for days at a time. The Egypt threads and the constant Obama bashing were getting to me…but the final straw for ME, was yesterday’s Reagan thread. First of all, it was impossible to post ANYTHING and if your post did go through (and that’s a big IF) if took forever like hours. And many didn’t make it and were deleted. I was disgusted beyond belief.

The only POTUS I despised MORE than W was Reagan and to see him deified on a supposedly liberal blog was too much.

LOL…I still have a lot I could learn! I learn something new everyday. And truthfully one of the reasons I stayed at HP was I learned so much from many wonderful posters (such as yourself) that I know I could learn so much more from!

I would love to have some business conversations. I think it could be good to have an open discussion on business and economics.

I know many of us often did that on HP.

I’m an international logistics and customs consultant and charge for my expertise. But very often on HP and would provide guidelines to trade issues just to help make others more aware.

I would think that could be a great topic of conversation.
