CL–I had some fun the other day, trying to get some insane conservatives to explain how PBO is trying to destroy this country. I asked them to give me specific examples of how he is destroying this counry. I know you’re going to find this hard to believe, but not one of them answered me. Of course, I posted a couple of PBO’s accomplishments–lowering the deficit by two-thirds, getting millions of people access to what one poster told me was the “greatest health care system in the world”, lowering unemployment to under 6%, and they all called me the usual names. You know, “liberal moron” Obamabot, etc. and of course kept on telling me how PBO was destroying the country. I kept telling them I had given them specific examples, and would they please give me examples of the “desruction”, but….crickets. So if you’re a republican, even if someone asks you to explain, you don’t have to.

We now have a Republican governor in our very blue state of Maryland. I listened to part of his State of the State address. Maryland has one of the best school systems in the nation. But our new wonderful governor wants to cut funds for education and have more charter schools. So much for good standing in education.

Funk – We Marylanders looovvve our blue crabs from the Bay. However, all the runoff water is killing the Bay. So EPA said it would tax XBillions to clean up the Bay. A small tax on homeowers. But nooooo. So Dems either didn’t show up and/or voted for the “no tax” Republican. It will be interesting to see what will happen when we have no more crabs.

Back AGAIN……the phone…I wanted to share about Measles….one of my neighbors is on the school board and was all in favor of giving parents the option to innoculate….her husband was too until their daughter, a nurse, brought him all kinds of material on the dangers…and drove it home. NOW she is a crusader for innoculation and says kids who are not immunized do not belong “in school, in clubs, on the playground, on a bus, or in a shop” because of what they might carry. knowledge.
