Is has been a difficult week for many in Tucson and the country. My thoughts and tears for those that lost their lives and to their families.
My hopes for a quick recovery for those that were wounded.
And my sympathies to everyone that this tragedy touched.

Beautiful, MW! He and Brownlee make those things that are technically so difficult (like those octave leaps) sound easy.
Bjorling’s voice was certainly well matched with Merrill’s. I love men’s voices, period!!

The funny thing about losing my mother, who was my best friend, was that she absolutely hated the song ‘Amazing Grace’ because it was so sad and about death.
And my one brother that took over and planned her funeral, and that brother is deceased last year, was that he had that song played at her funeral, and I didn’t have the heart to tell him how much my mom hated that song.
Before our daughter died, a very good friend of hers was killed and she played a song on the guitar at his funeral – a song that we taught her to play and by the way, she became a much better guitar player than either of us could aspire – but the song that she played for her friend was the Eagles –
