I would have said to Murph if he hadn’t put together a committee and talked w the sheriff, that one should just DO this and not formalize it. The haters are bigger than us. Only reason I survive is – well, it’s all kind of a secret. Nobody formally knows. The cops do and like it. But the rest of the city doesn’t. And after 11 years, we’ll keep it that way.

Take away military deployment, ICE raids without warrants (also ruled against him), and using tariffs, Trump has lost all the legal levers of power and weakened himself. I have to say that I’m not feeling food inflation since I shopt Outlet market that keeps most prices low. I freely admit I get some things – gluten free soups – from Amazon along with coffee. ($10.99 for 2 pounds). But millions don’t have discounts. I’m going back to Costco to see if I can get off the Amazon part, but I LOVE my Outlet and will keep shopping there.

My only problem with Costco is you have to wear track shoes and pack a lunch to get through there. Now it’s not 110 in the shade, I will return. Parking is out past the curvature of the earth, so one needs cooler weather to do it.

That’s fantastic! I do see inflation at the market but we do a monthly shopping at Costco for many staples and two dozen eggs are still $8. Many other products there are not inflated or minimally inflated. Got the fresh roast chicken there, still only $4.99.

Well, that brings up an issue. Walking. I have had a middle ear infection that, during routing screening, discovered I have serious differentials in blood pressure, each arm. So I am on a monitor to see what’s happening. If it’s a blockage, I face at BEST angioplasty, worst – open heart. If it’s something else, icky meds. I’ll keep you posted. My desire to live to be 100 just got a bump in the road.

You’re right, thay’s the frustrating thing. They are violent against so many but if there is violence against them in any way, as with the Big Balls car jacking, they will declare and emergency and roll out the troops. We don’t get to fight fire with fire, we have to accept that our resistence has to be more gradual and conventional.
