Biden is starting off weak. He sounds tired, not a good look when age is an issue. AdLib 4 hours ago
Was’t there a show, Crank Yangers? AdLib 4 hours ago
Klobuchar pushes so hard to be relevant and compliments herself constantly. Gets a bit annoying after awhile. AdLib 4 hours ago
Buttigieg uses a truckload of smooth words to say so little. AdLib 4 hours ago
Buttigieg pandering so hard to NH voters…so obvious. AdLib 4 hours ago
Yang declares that he thinks government officials should be above the law. AdLib 3 hours ago
Hey PPO! AdLib 2 hours ago
hi all! pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
Are you watching the debate? AdLib 2 hours ago
nope! didn’t know it was on pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
Still trying to get my head around the sackings and escorting out of the WH pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Pete the Piddling Pup. pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
We have passed into an autocracy, democracy has been pushed aside. AdLib 2 hours ago
Paid-For Pete. AdLib 2 hours ago
He has a bunch of billionaires supporting him, Buttigieg is a phony. AdLib 2 hours ago
Has anyone mentioned the sackings? pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
Yes, Biden asked the audience to stand up and appalud Vindman and they did (a stunt but it worked). AdLib 2 hours ago
Hey Harleigh! AdLib 2 hours ago
Why is sanders still involved. He’s no Democrat! pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
Heh! He’s doing well but I don’t see how he ever attracts more than those already supporting him. AdLib 2 hours ago
Bernshirts aren’t doing him any favors. pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
In a race of 4 people, you can win with 26% but as a two person race,, you can’t. AdLib 2 hours ago
I am tired of Klobuchar, Steyer and Yang being in the debate, each has no prayer and has some annoying aspects. AdLib 2 hours ago
here we go LOL Harleigh 2 hours ago
Yep, Harleigh! AdLib 2 hours ago
MURPH!!! AdLib 2 hours ago
Hi. I am back! MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago
How are you, pal?! AdLib 2 hours ago
None of those in the debate seem worthwhile to me. meh Harleigh 2 hours ago
Welcome Murph! Hope you’re fine at last pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
hey murph! Harleigh 2 hours ago
I think Warren is doing very well tonight. Pete is looking poorly. Biden is Biden, Klobuchar is always self-promoting, Yang is a knucklehead and Bernie is Bernie. AdLib 2 hours ago
Why is Steyer there? pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
I started cardiac rehab this week which means my recovery is now official. December 13 to now……lots of time to get back on one’s feet. I have been back at work since last Saturday…..and there is a lot to be done….SO, among the happy things to do is to rejoin my friends AdLib, Harleigh, and PPO here tonight. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago
I think Yang and Klobuchar are out soon after losing badly in NH. Steyer is technically out soon after SC. AdLib 2 hours ago
Delighted to see you!
pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
cool! Harleigh 2 hours ago
You’re back at work, Murph? You mist be doing well! Very happy to hear this. AdLib 2 hours ago
arren is my fav now. Harleigh 2 hours ago
Warren Harleigh 2 hours ago
Harleigh – She’s not perfect but of the bunch, I think she has the most going for her. Buttigieg should flame out. As someone said about him, he hasn’t made the case for any reasoon he should be president except pure ambition. AdLib 2 hours ago
HAven’t see or heard enough to judge tonight’s debate, but I’m not impressed with the minor players, and am not rooting for Bernie or Pete, either, so…… pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
And I saw a poll showing she is by far the candidate that Dems would be the least disappointed about being the ominee. A weird poll but shows that she can be better at uniting Dems than any of the others. AdLib 2 hours ago
Thanks everyone…..At the one month mark I started to re-engage and have slowly ratcheted up over three weeks. Cardiac Rehab will be two hours a week with a home exercise program Double bypass with NO symptoms is scary. The widow maker! MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago
I have down to Warren or….Bloomberg with a black VP nominee. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago
Wow, Murph – that is scary – how did they discover it without symptoms? pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
PPO – Buttigieg is coming off hollow and on his back foot as he’s taken real smacks from the moderators and candidates. Bernie is the same as always. Biden is unsteady, very weak when he started and meandering since. Steyer and Klobuchar seem desperate to me. And Yang should be selling t-shirts. AdLib 2 hours ago
Murph, I must say I favor Biden for one term, to settle the world back down. But if Warren or Bloomberg are given the nod, I’m OK. pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
Murph, how did they catch your condition? AdLib 2 hours ago
Murph – I’m absolutely not on Bloomberg, not looking for more billionaire overlords. AdLib 2 hours ago
Geez Murph, it’s really fun! I did mine in 2004 Harleigh 2 hours ago
PPO – But there’s no precedent for a one-termer to not hand the WH to the other party. One term of Biden may be a package deal with the next term of President Ivanka. AdLib 2 hours ago
PPO…I had a stent put in 9 years ago….so every three years I run through a series of tests…..the last of those tests….a heart catheterization spotted the two blocked arteries….in the surgery they discovered that my heart had responded to the blockages by knitting together a network of blood vessels that compensated for the loss….not all hearts to that….the response was good because no heart attack but bad because it was hiding the problem by keeping me symptom free. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago
Murph, you’ve got a smart heart! AdLib 2 hours ago
WOW, Murph, who knew the heart could self-repair? Amazing. pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
Biden….I favored him at first but he has not impressed me and I worry about his speech impediment in facing off with Trump…..I have never seen Biden as a verbal brawler and that is what will be needed to take that bastard down. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago
Does anyone really feel that the GOP will gain a Presidency so soon after this cretin? pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
Murph – What concerns me most about Biden is how his handlers keep him away from people in his campaign stops, locked into his rehearsed and teleprompted speeches. I think he is far weaker a campaigner as he appears, they are hiding him. That is all I need to see. AdLib 2 hours ago
I just hope Spanky is defeated Harleigh 2 hours ago
Shar[est thing about Biden is his wife. Harleigh 2 hours ago
PPO – All it takes is a discouraged Dem base and Repubs can win. If Biden is as weak as he seems and has no aspirations for big changes, only wants incremental changes to go back to 2008, I think Dems would be discouraged after his first term and the change-minded voters would vote for the Repub. AdLib 2 hours ago
Why Bloomberg? I get the fear of a billionaire …. indeed the entirely plutocracy that underwrites those in office scares me….but I am genuinely worried that Trump will win another term. Bloomberg has the experience, skill and voice to take him down. He also has the money and is putting to good use (with the promise that he will support, fully support, whoever gets the nod). His experience in business, and in government is impressive. He is a centrist. His stance on guns, on climate change, on abortion, on public education, on an allied based foreign policy…and much more represent where I stand. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago
Harleigh – I think Trump will lose but he will cheat and cheat as hard as he can to win so we need to be determined and work hard to GOTV. AdLib 2 hours ago
Harleigh – Yes, I really like Jill Biden. AdLib 2 hours ago
One thing about Bloomers – he will spend millions on the eventual candidate. Sorry to say, this is waht needs to be done to combat the GOP money. pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago
Ad…I agree with your concerns about Biden…..he does not seem to be anywhere near as sharp as he was as Obama’s 2nd. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago
AMi isn’t doing badly pinkpantheroz an hour ago
Bloomberg is a phony. He is a Republican, thinks like a Republican and strongly opposes things like wealth taxes and fixing economic injustice. He does not connect with real people and their concerns. There are a few areas like gun control where he is supporting policies Dems can support but he will further increase the power of the wealthy and corporations over the people. You don’t become a billionaiire because you’re an altruist. You have to be an vicious person. AdLib an hour ago
Tonights Friday Night Massacre shines a spotlight on the next wave of Trump corruption in the works…..a warning shot across the bow of any who might think of doing the right thing. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
PPO – Klobuchar is fine but the constant patting of herself on the back has worn old with me. She makes a lot of good points but also comes off to me as pushing too hard and forcing things in the debate that accompany desperation. And polling shows she has no chance to win anywhere or come in better than 4th. AdLib an hour ago
Ah, well, so who do you all think won? I came in late, so didn’ hear most of it pinkpantheroz an hour ago
Murph – I’d say it appears more like the Repubs succeeded in making the presidency authoritarian. Democracy has been pushed aside and we are watching the rise of the dictator presidency. AdLib an hour ago
Ad….Bloomberg has been a Democrat for nearly all of his life….he is, in many ways, the old style centrist Democrat who used to dominate the midwest. I respect Bloomberg News. I have had friends who worked in his organization and think highly of him. I want someone who will be able to take it to Trump and the field in that area is thin from my point of view. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
The debate is still going on. I don’t think anyone can win hands down in these debates. I think Pete got bruised a little, Biden was static as was Bernie. Steyer looked better but has no base. Warren did well but didn’t knock it out of the park. Who’s Yang? AdLib an hour ago
Murph – That is false. Bloomberg has been a Republican most of his life. He only became a Dem after leaving the office of Mayor. AdLib an hour ago
Ad….I agree….the GOP has betrayed the tradition that was marked by practical conservatism (that support the civil rights movement for instance) in favor of an authoritarian hand that will wield power ruthlessly (to their benefit). MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
He was elected as Mayor as a Repub, shifted to Independent in his last term and only after declared he is now a Dem. AdLib an hour ago
Two terms as a Repub, last term as an indie. AdLib an hour ago
This is what I read in the bios on Bloomberg. A lifelong Democrat before seeking elective office, Bloomberg switched his party registration in 2001 to run for mayor as a Republican. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
And for me, anyone can claim to be a Dem but if their entire political career was as a Repub or indie and never a Dem, when he can actually make policy, he’s not and hasn’t been a Dem. AdLib an hour ago
Did anyone bring up the Friday Night Massacre? pinkpantheroz an hour ago
Yep Murph, the GOP is now a fascist party of pro-authoritarians and anti-democracy and rule of law. They know they can’t win anymore using democracy so they justify corrupting it to serve them. AdLib an hour ago
Howdy all! choicelady an hour ago
Hey CL!!! AdLib an hour ago
Did you catch the debate? AdLib an hour ago
Hey back atcha, AdLib. How is everyone? NO I missed the debate. choicelady an hour ago
Hey Harleigh, Murph, PPO – good to see you all! choicelady an hour ago
hey CL! Harleigh an hour ago
Hey Harleigh! choicelady an hour ago
Not a pivotal debate, bottom line to me was that Buttigieg looked awkward trying to stand up to challenges. AdLib an hour ago
CL! pinkpantheroz an hour ago
Hello choicelady! Good to be with you tonight. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
The focus group on MSNBC is liking Klobuchar but this won’t change her trajectory. AdLib an hour ago
Good article on Bloomberg’s politics….https://publicintegrity.org/politics/elections/presidential-profiles-2020/michael-bloomberg-president-election-democrat/ MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
Glad to hear Klobuchar did well, but no, she won’t do THAT well. choicelady an hour ago
I take it there were no knockdown punches thrown, or gotchas in sight. So it seems it was just a session of, as they say here, handbag waving. pinkpantheroz an hour ago
Murph – thanks. I saved the article. choicelady an hour ago
I will read it Murph but I know a bit about Bloomberg and I do not like him nor his attempt to buy the nomination. AdLib an hour ago
Ad – one thing I do like about Bloomberg is his promise to put his money into ads for the nominee. THAT is cool. Wish Steyer, whom I slightly know, would do that, too. choicelady an hour ago
I don’t think the debate changed much other than some undecideds liking Klobuchar and Buttigieg having the facade pulled back to expose how shallow and inexperienced he is. AdLib an hour ago
I went to college with Bloomberg’s sister. Doesn’t change a thing for me. choicelady an hour ago
CL, I’m with yoou there, pinkpantheroz an hour ago
Klobuchar shone for the first time tonight and Mayor Pete dimmed. Biden remained Biden. Warren was sharp, pointed and energized but does not seem to be landing the punches she needs to land. The rest on the stage were space fillers. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
Heard Yang tanked himself saying what Trump did were ‘mistakes’ and that no one from this admin should be prosecuted after they’re gone. THAT was the kiss of death for him. choicelady an hour ago
PPO – Nope, no knockdowns and I don’t think it changes NH or the following states. I think Klobuchar and Yang are out after SC and NV but may not officially bain. Steyer is out after SC and NV too, even if he keeps financing a meaningless campaign. AdLib an hour ago
Choice…that is pretty much what Yang said….wanted to seem non-vindictive and focused on making headway with a new admin…came off as an apologist for the Trumpers. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
Steyer is a really good guy on issues. He’s deeply pro union, committed to climate change and was the force behind CA’s excellent Prop. 39 on solar retrofit AND new jobs, but I don’t want him as president. choicelady an hour ago
CL – That would be the best scenario, one of the legit candidates wins the nom and Bloomberg spends $1 billion to support them. But the Dem party will be pulled down if a billionaire can parachute in late in the game and just buy the nom. AdLib an hour ago
Ad – I don’t see Bloomberg making real headway. I love him for his money!!! choicelady an hour ago
Choice….Steyer would have been much better keeping to the role you describe….in support and spurring action. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
Murph – I think that is a fair and accurate rundown on the debate. AdLib an hour ago
Murph =- agreed. choicelady an hour ago
CL – Yang has previously said he would pardon Trump. So this isn’t new but may not have been known by most voters. Yep, Yang opposes the rule of law and wants to put all government officials above the law. He is a stealth Repub, just as he seems, an adversary of this beig a nation of laws. He’s been over for a while but more so now. AdLib an hour ago
Ad – that’s sure my impression. Yang is a Silicon Valley libertarian I think. choicelady an hour ago
Someone on Twitter said Yang’s funding has dried up. He’s too weird for even his peers! choicelady an hour ago
CL – Yes, I don’t really have policy issues with Steyer but I do recognize that his impeachment campaign was all about promoting himself to run for president and he has no base to support him. Not a bad guy but another wealthy guy thinking he’s entitled to have power. AdLib an hour ago
I still reminisce for a Palin-Bachmann ticket. thank god both are gone. Harleigh an hour ago
Ad – he’s very nice in person. I like him. Don’t want him for president. choicelady an hour ago
HARLEIGH!!! LOLOLOLOL!!! choicelady an hour ago
I just noticed that appear to have put Sanders into the place holder group at the debate…..I did not really think about this…I just did it because that is how I feel about his candidacy….he is doing what he does…..an effective curmudgeon who has a meager record of accomplishment beyond his time as a mayor in Burlington. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
CL – The MSM and especially MSNBC is pushing Bloomberg hard, they want a pro-wealth Repub as the Dem nom. He is making progress in the polls in some states but no, in the end, he will not win the nom. AdLib an hour ago
BTW – one of the homeless guys I know grew up in Wasilla. He knew Todd but not Sarah. However, the stories he can tell! OMG. choicelady an hour ago
Harleigh….you have to wonder what we have come to when Palin and Bachmann don’t seems so bad in light of the present reality. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
LOL Harleigh an hour ago
CL – Agree on Yang but there is a very cynical ploy in this policy of trying to bribe voters with $1k/mo if he’s elected. Otherwise, libertarian and Republican views on various issues including Trump. AdLib an hour ago
yeah no shit murph Harleigh an hour ago
Yangs for the memories! AdLib an hour ago
Well, folks, time to go. Delighted you’re OK, Murph. Everyone else, do take care. You are quite precious, y’know! pinkpantheroz an hour ago
Harleigh……no shit, or lots and lots of it? MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
Wonderful to be with you tonight PPO MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
both Harleigh an hour ago
Murph and Harleigh – I STILL think those two wenches for Jesus are the WORST even in light of this crop of creeps. choicelady an hour ago
nite ppo Harleigh an hour ago
Harleigh! HAH! MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
pinkpantheroz an hour ago
Oh no – good night Harleigh – great to see you for a moment! choicelady an hour ago
CL – Bloomberg is nice in person? Maybe but as I said, you don’t become a billionaire by being nice. And he’s keeping secret the hush money paid to women who worked in his company. AdLib an hour ago
CL…..given that the creeps I am referring are actually in power, big time power….and that makes them worse in my book. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
Oh it’s PPO who left. OK. Sorry to miss more with him. choicelady an hour ago
‘m hangin for awhile baby baby Harleigh an hour ago
Murph – OK, I buy that. Not as an existential issue but a practical one, yes. choicelady an hour ago
Murph – I don’t see how Sanders grows his base of support. Pretty much, all the voters supporting him is all he’s got. AdLib an hour ago
Good to have you here, Sug. choicelady an hour ago
Listening to Warren right now in dialogue with the MSNBC gang….she is SO impressive as an intellect who has a razor sharp rhetorical flourish…. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
Ad – that’s fine. Someone posted a photo of him pre op and now, and he looks AWFUL. He’s NOT taking care of himself, and it shows. choicelady an hour ago
CL – Just the stories that we know from the news about the trashy nature of the Palin family is enough but I’d enjoy hearing his stories. AdLib an hour ago
Murph – I really dislike her. She has lied about POLICY issues, and I don’t trust her on race nor even on loyalty to Dem principles and people. choicelady an hour ago
Ad – he knows the trash, OK! choicelady an hour ago
Ad…..Sanders muddies the water…..he is an easy target for those opposed to Dems who want all Dems to be seen as Sandernistas….and, I agree, his base is as big as it gets. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
I gotta say I fucking can’t stand Bern. He’s not a dem and all he does is yell, wave his arms and spit into the mic. he’s an asshole. Harleigh an hour ago
Murph – Agree with you on Warren, she is the opposite of Buttigieg who offers zero details and specifics about how he would do anything. AdLib an hour ago
Choice…I value your thoughts….a lot….if Warren is the person you say she is, and I trust that your position is a solid one, then I have to look at her again more deeply. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
CL – Are you talking about Sanders? He’s looking worse for wear? AdLib an hour ago
Ad…what do you think of CL’s take on Warren. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
Harleigh! TOTALLy agree. I have worked w someone on his Sanders Institute who is much the same. I was a longtime supporter of CA’s single payer. I know good legislation. They and he write crap. I’m NOT having it. We all have been lab rats in Trump’s idiotic ideological positions. I refuse to be a lab rat to Bernie’s. choicelady an hour ago
CL….I will mark you down as “undecided” re. Bern Boy. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
Ad – yes. My husband had an angio in 2012. He had to work several months to get stable – diet, exercise, etc. Bern is ignoring all that and looks like death warmed over. choicelady an hour ago
LOL – Muprh! I’m a DEAD NO ON BERN. choicelady an hour ago
CL – You and I have agreed to disagree on Warren and Biden. Hillary was a Goldwater Girl and that didn’t seem to be hald against her as beinng a Repub, I don’t think a similar change of political allegience should be seen worse for Warren. AdLib an hour ago
CL…as someone who had a double bypass in December….I too see the signs that Sanders is living on Borrowed Time. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
OMG – Berners drage the ‘Goldwater Girl” out even NOW. She was 16. At age 18 she was for Gene McCarthy. Warren was a Republican to age 50. That does change things a lot. choicelady an hour ago
Murph – Yep, Sanders excels as a protest candidate but no detailed solutions. I support many policies he supports but they always seem rhetorical with him, not thought out policies. AdLib an hour ago
Oh Murph – I heard you had health issues, but I didn’t know that. I hope YOU are following doctors’ orders. It takes a LONG time to recuperate from even an angio. A double bypass is BIG stuff. We want you WELL. choicelady an hour ago
hey maybe bern and rush can croak on the same day and then have to stand in that myical judgement day line together. hahaha Harleigh an hour ago
Ad – since I know a good single payer plan v Bernie’s, I’ve read both, his stuff is sophomoric. He doesn’t have the stuff it takes to do the work. choicelady an hour ago
Ad….there is a reason why Sanders, with a very long tenure in the House and Senate, has NO major legislation attached to him as the principal author/sponsor. His rep in Congress is that he is hard, hard, hard to work with. Ever wonder why he chairs no committee? MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
Harleigh – if they croad and we get a solar flare, your questions will be answered. choicelady an hour ago
Harleigh – croak. choicelady an hour ago
Yes, CL…..quite a scare….No symptoms…discovered in testing since I have stent. December 13 was the day so I am nearly two months out now. I have taken considerable time to get to the point when I could begin productive cardiac rehab and get back to work. So far, so good. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
LOL Harleigh an hour ago
Ad – I want to like Warren. She has made too many wrong calls on policy – outright lies – and too many sneering disregards of key issues and people for me to like her. choicelady an hour ago
Murph – It is an unusual situation for me and CL who I think is brilliant and wonderful, we just disagree on candidates. I think Warren is a solid Dem, has proven it in many instances and going back 25 years to when she was a Repub doesn’t change who she’s been for the last 25 years. I think Biden is weaker than he appears, would not be a strong GE candidate and I’m afraid he’d fall down as I think he is in the primary. CL and I see both of them differetly but what thoughtful person ever agrees with another 100% of the time? AdLib an hour ago
Murph – REALLY good news. But you like my husband have been doing what’s needed. Bernie isn’t. It shows. choicelady an hour ago
single payer is hard, only 32 of the 33 developed countries have figured it out according to the memes. lol Harleigh an hour ago
Well…friends….getting late for me. One of the things I am doing is getting 8 to 9 hours of sleep every night matched with an exercise routine and formal cardiac rehab. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
Ad – very true. I will, of course, vote for virtually anyone (Tulsi no longer being an issue) because I won’t shuffle off this mortal coil enabling fascism. choicelady an hour ago
Ad……well at least you and I agree all the time….even if you and CL do not…HAH
MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
CL – Glad hubby went through that well and followed doctor’s orders. But imagine getting a heart attack in the middle of a primary and knowing either you do waht’s best for your life and drop out or stay in and endanger your health. AdLib an hour ago
or croak Harleigh an hour ago
Harleigh – single payer is actually only Canada, UK, and Ireland. Everything else is mixed or highly regulated private insurance. That’s the problem. Bern’s model is difficult, and with the gov’t as the only providers, people get what they are allowed to get. Canada does NOT cover drugs. UK is now withholding top flight drugs due to costs. We need a really deep dive into costs, coverage from many nations to see what works best. choicelady an hour ago
CL – Well, Bernie Bros do a lot of messed up things. But we agree they’re wrong for having attacked Hiillary for being a Repub years ago. I’d say the same about Warren, she’s proved her liberal cred with actions over the past 25 years, who someone has been more recently is more reflective of who they are I think. AdLib an hour ago
I look forward to many stimulating Friday evening with our gang! See you next week….nice to still be kicking along!
MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
nite murph Harleigh an hour ago
Ad – she is tone deaf on race. That bothers me enormously. choicelady an hour ago
CL – I believe you of course and I think Bernie betrays how unrealistic his plan is by never offering details. AdLib an hour ago
Night Murph! AdLib an hour ago
Ad – you’d have to KNOW details to explain them! choicelady an hour ago
Good night Murph – be WELL!!! So glad to see you again! choicelady an hour ago
CL….I regard the German national health care structure as the best (a mix of public and private with very strong citizen based representation and leadership in its management). MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago
Murph – I tend to agree, and the highest rated ones seem to follow that pattern. choicelady 44 minutes ago
Murph – I’m not surprised by Hillary coming out to knock Bernie on not being liked in the Senate. Imagine Bernie as your houseguest, can you imagine him liking anything you served him or did for him? AdLib 44 minutes ago
Wishing you all a happy night….and a glorious tomorrow. MurphTheSurf3 44 minutes ago
:Night, Murph! choicelady 44 minutes ago
CL – You would vote for Warren if she was the Dem nom though? AdLib 43 minutes ago
I’m voting straight blue Harleigh 43 minutes ago
Ad – Bernie as houseguest? My WORST nightmare! Of COURSE I’d vote for Warren! Or anyone. I will NOT enable fascism! choicelady 43 minutes ago
CL – Heh, Tulsi who? AdLib 43 minutes ago
CL….yes…and Germany has a very mixed population now…..so the model works in a challenging population. MurphTheSurf3 43 minutes ago
Ad – perfect. “Tulsi who?” Excellent. choicelady 42 minutes ago
Exactly Murph, we never disagree…except sometimes! AdLib 42 minutes ago
Murph – very good point. ACA was supposed to go the German way. choicelady 42 minutes ago
what emails!? Harleigh 42 minutes ago
Harleigh – yeah, waddabout those emails? choicelady 42 minutes ago
CL….Bernie as my house guest….I would be wishing for a heart attack (for him, but failing that, for me)….Bernie as a guest…sheeeesh! MurphTheSurf3 41 minutes ago
Murph – it’s that awful, wishing for one’s own death would be preferable! choicelady 41 minutes ago
Well, I keep saying “good night” but like in the Godfather….you all keep drawing me back in….. MurphTheSurf3 41 minutes ago
he could fall down the stairs from a heart attack Harleigh 41 minutes ago
Murph – I bet he doesn’t make his bed, doesn’t put down the seat, dumps his drawers on the floor. He seems to be a slob. choicelady 40 minutes ago
CL….just a mild heart blip….nothing fatal….for either of us. MurphTheSurf3 40 minutes ago
Murph – we’re just so cool! choicelady 40 minutes ago
CL>……..WONDERFUL! MurphTheSurf3 40 minutes ago
Bernie as a slob…yes……. MurphTheSurf3 40 minutes ago
CL – I think Warren knows she lacks experience in racial issues, that is a weakness of hers that she seems to be admitting and trying to address. Meawhille, Bernie is getting a majority of the black youth vote and what does he know about race? I think it’s more important to try and improve oneself than expect perfection. Look at Biden, he has a huge problem with younger voters and responds by dissing them. Unwise. AdLib 40 minutes ago
All those are good reasons to prefer to die, Murph. Esp. if he won’t leave. choicelady 39 minutes ago
Ad…..the ability to disagree and remain friends is a sign of intellectual integrity and maturity. MurphTheSurf3 39 minutes ago
CL…yeah, we are Kool!
MurphTheSurf3 38 minutes ago
Well those stupid kids had better … vote… for…. oh shit Harleigh 38 minutes ago
CL – It wuld be a nightmare to have Bernie over for dinner. I think he would begin complaining the moment he arrived, ignore what anyone has to say and declare my meal unfit for the 99%. AdLib 38 minutes ago
Ad – there are very large disputes about how many Black youth actually follow Bern. It’s a mixed polling. Who IS following him are Muslims due to his pretense that he cares about Palestine. He doesn’t. It’s just a thing he says. He has zero comprehension. My husband is a 40 year ME peace activist, and he’s fed up w Bernie on this. choicelady 38 minutes ago
Ad – from what I know, little though it is, anything you served Bernie would be excellent, and he;s just a grouch to BE a grouch. choicelady 37 minutes ago
Harleigh – don’t get me started on stupid kids. choicelady 36 minutes ago
Remember when McCain was framed as the grumpy old man telling the kids to get off the lawn…..it seems to me that Bernie is actually a better fit for that imaging. MurphTheSurf3 36 minutes ago
Murph – Indeed, which is why it doesn’t bother me at all when I disagree with you or CL, opinions are subjective and wise people who are confident with themselves and respect others, don’t get bothered because they aren’t always of the same opinions. As opposed to Repubs who demand conformity of thought like all ignorant and insecure people do (and authoritarians). AdLib 36 minutes ago
Murph – I agree. Bernie is the original “get off my lawn” guy. choicelady 36 minutes ago
As a former GOPer, at a time when the GOP was a very divergent party with a core value that intelligent debate was a key to healthy democracy….I weep when I consider what the party has become……tainted, poisoned and contaminated. MurphTheSurf3 35 minutes ago
CL – I have to say I scratch my head about all the younger black support for Bernie but it seems to come from his message of changing economic oppression and injustice I think. A very potent message to young black voters who see such inequity. But they can’t see Bernie’s just all talk. AdLib 34 minutes ago
OK guys I have to wind down. I have a stinko cold. I did get to the store where the checkout man had one, and I said “it’s a thing going around”. I said I was sure it wasn’t flu or coronavirus, and he said, no – he sticks with the classics.! I am SO stealing that line! But it makes me very tired, and I’m drifting away here. choicelady 34 minutes ago
Thanks CL. I do bake amazing cookies. AdLib 34 minutes ago
I voted repube once, nixons first term. never ever again Harleigh 34 minutes ago

SO GLAD I got time with you tonight CL> MurphTheSurf3 33 minutes ago
Bernie doesn’t want them to just get off his lawn, he wants them to get off his planet. AdLib 33 minutes ago
Ad – Black youth don’t know his racist fundamental being. I knew guys like him in college, and they were non lethal white supremacists. They need to know this about him. choicelady 33 minutes ago
Harleigh it was great interacting with you tonight……we so often get just a few minutes. Like your wit. MurphTheSurf3 32 minutes ago
Good to see you all! I will try to be better about being here. When I cook on Fridays I do it. When we go out, I don’t get back in time. choicelady 32 minutes ago

Good night to three excellent human beings! I’ve enjoyed it all! Maybe next week! choicelady 32 minutes ago
Murph – Important point, the GOP used to have a moderate wing so some folks whoo were Repubs like you, weren’t like the cultists that make up the GOP today, the party left you. That’s what I think was the casse for Hillary, Warren, etc. AdLib 32 minutes ago
Ad….you have been SO supportive and SO concerned…I am very grateful for that and for your leadership here at the Planet where quality rules1 MurphTheSurf3 32 minutes ago
Murph and Ad – AMEN on Ad’s leadership!!! choicelady 31 minutes ago
