Vox Populi, our weekly live chat about the week’s events begins tonight at 7:00pm PST. Hope to see you then! AdLib 8 hours ago
Hey PPO! AdLib 5 hours ago
Hiya Ad. Bit of a week! It was 45 C in our suburb yesterday, and Melbourne is now being blanketed by smoke from NSW, 300 miles away! Luckily, being Melbourne, we had 41 Wednesday, 24 Thursday, 45 Friday, and today is only 25! On Tuesday, our evaporative air Conditioner on the roof hiccupped and dumped gallons of water into our roof space and down into our bathroom through a broken roof tile. We were incredibly lucky that we got a plumber to fix it that evening, in time for this horror week. So we got through OK, with every blind drawn and the A/C full belt. Still a bit sticky, but never mind. We will be having our usual Christmas, Ham and Stuffing and salads and hopefully a few phone calls. Too hot for the whole box and dice in the food department. pinkpantheroz 5 hours ago
Hi glenn! AdLib 5 hours ago
hi glenn. Merry Christmas! pinkpantheroz 5 hours ago
Hi Ad, hi PPO. Oh my goodness, PPO, what a week you’ve had! Merry Christmas to you, too. glenn 5 hours ago
PPO – That is madness! So sorry! You have to stay indoors, clearly, and without A/C it would be unbearable. AdLib 5 hours ago
A wonderful Christmas Present from Speaker Pelosi. 3/45* is impeached at last. pinkpantheroz 5 hours ago
Or should that be Merry Impeachmas! I love George Conway’s new twitter handle for the TLB–ImPOTUS! It’s perfect! glenn 5 hours ago
PPO – Is there any break in the heat that’s being forecast? AdLib 5 hours ago
I like the new nickname for Trump now on Twitter, IMPOTUS. AdLib 5 hours ago
IMPOTUS – love it! pinkpantheroz 5 hours ago
IMpeached POTUS…or IMpotent POTUS…or both. AdLib 5 hours ago
KellyAnne must be having kittens. As for Suckabee sanders, what a proper cow that one is. pinkpantheroz 5 hours ago
PPO–Your Christmas dinner sounds wonderful! So glad that you will be able to be comfortable in the house, at least. glenn 5 hours ago
PPO–Oh Suckabee is a piece of work, all right! glenn 5 hours ago
Thanks, glenn. We’ll be OK for the next week or so – mid 20s, so comfortable. pinkpantheroz 5 hours ago
Can you believe it thought? Just months ago we were clamoring for Dems to impeach Trump and so quickly, they have. This will always madden him. So pleased! AdLib 5 hours ago
though AdLib 5 hours ago
Ad–Or IMbecilePOTUS. glenn 5 hours ago
It seems, Ad, that he doesn’t really comprehend what has happened, and the GOP are saying he’s NOT impeached cos the trial hasn’t happened yet -innocent until guilty sort of thing. I beg to differ. It has happened. He is impeached pinkpantheroz 5 hours ago
Huckabull Sanders wants to run for Gov and she realized after the fact that ridiculing people who are disabled isn’t as funny as it seemed when working for Trump. AdLib 5 hours ago
PPO – You coud probably cook a turkey on the sidewalk and get that smoky flavor. AdLib 5 hours ago
Ad–Yes, impeached quickly, and now Madame Speaker is holding it up until McConnell and Graham can at least TRY to be fair. glenn 5 hours ago
Her ‘Didn’t know about it’ doesn’t wash. Her dad cant have not known, pinkpantheroz 5 hours ago
Ad, that smoky flavor is your feet burning on 53C Cement! pinkpantheroz 5 hours ago
PPO–Oh, he comprehends it all right, and so do his repub enablers. They just don’t want to admit it. glenn 5 hours ago
PPO – Yes, the Repubs and Trump have committed to the “denying reality” ploy for everything now but as long as Dems don’t take the bait and try to address their lies, it changes nothing. AdLib 5 hours ago
glenn, pitifully lemmings till the end. And now the Christians have suddenly found his lack of morality. Where have they been these last years? pinkpantheroz 5 hours ago
And Trump and Repubs will insist that he wasn’t impeached if The Senate doesn’t remove him, they will never admit reality when it contradicts what they want. AdLib 5 hours ago
Ad–her so-called apology was so lame, too. It’s okay to ridicule someone if you don’t know them???? glenn 5 hours ago
Australia is burning – 2 firies killed in NSW. Where is our Hillsong-loving Prime Minister? On vacation in Hawaii, that’s where. pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
glenn – Check out my new post today, I make the case that Pelosi and the Dems should hold more public hearings and threaten to add more Articles of Impeachment as they wait for McConnell to agree to allow a fair trial. If they want the Articles of Impeachment and public hearings piling up until the election, so be it. Fair or nothing when it comes to the triial. AdLib 4 hours ago
trial AdLib 4 hours ago
PPO–That editorial in the Christian Times was glorious, wasn’t it? All of these people condemning the IMPOTUS now are leaving their jobs. Did you see where this editor, who finally found his spine, and apparently, his Christian attitude, is retiring? As you say, why couldn’t he have spoken out about three years ago? glenn 4 hours ago
PPO–Your PM sounds about as useless as our TLB. glenn 4 hours ago
PPO – Everyone knows about Biden’s stuttering issue and so what? He was describing a kid who stutters. That would have been okay? Huckabull Slanders is human garbage like her dad. The rotten egg doesn’t roll far from the bag of garbage. AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad, now that the actual reality of IMPotus’ impeachment is upon them, suddenly they are finding that dragging on his coattails might no longer be good for business. pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
PPO – Mmm…roasted corns! AdLib 4 hours ago
Ewwwww! pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
PPO–I see from your first post that NSW is about 300 miles from you. Are you safe from the fires? glenn 4 hours ago
PPO – It’s frustrating that all evangelicals have held back from criticizing Trump but I now that some are, I’m not mad at them, I’m actually relieved. The walls are cracking. AdLib 4 hours ago
glenn, even more so. He has no excuse for his blinding drive to make Australia a Theocracy. Hillsong has gotten access to thousands of schools for their propaganda drives pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
yes, glenn, DG. There are bushfirs just north of Melbourne as well, and to our southwest, but we are in the inner suvburbs here, so not in any danger area. pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
Ad–most repubs are human garbage, as far as I’m concerned. I haven’t seen one recently who can be described as human! They are just rePutin puppets.. glenn 4 hours ago
PPO – It’s disgusting that he would leave the country while this disaster is going on. Is the public upset at him? AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad–I agree. Hopefully, the dam will burst soon. For sure, the longer Pelosi holds the articles of impeachment in the House, the more chance that the IMPOTUS will commit more crimes. Or lose what’s left of his mind. glenn 4 hours ago
PPO–Oh my. I didn’t realize your PM was a stronger version of Pence. Can you tell me what Hillsong is? glenn 4 hours ago
glenn – There doesn’t seem to be real courage in Republicans and Evangelicals. It is a bit cowardly to only come out and speak truth to power when you’re pulling the ripcord to parachute out of their reach. Did you see Jeff Flake was being “brave” again today, urging Repubs to stand up against Trump? This spineless coward who voted for all of Trump’s judges and bills including killing the ACA and only pretended to have a conscience after he resigned? They are all apparently sniveling cowards. AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad, they’re barking mad! So much so that the poor fellow is in the air as we speak, having gotten the last economy seat out of HNL. Rude awakening for him when he gets back. Australian tourism had a campaign inviting people down with theThe bastard went AWOL and it took days to find out where he was. Everyone mad as hell pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
PPO – I don’t know if that’s it, I think they have been cowards, afraid of speaking the truth about Trump and only when they can run away, they speak up. I am glad they are but I would not call it bravery. AdLib 4 hours ago
BTW the author of that dumb line……. none other than our PM, Scott Morrison! pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
Ad–Oh, I agree completely. Apparently if you’re a repub, and get elected to Congress, you leave your spine at home, never to be retrieved until you’re out of Congress. I wonder if these gutless wonders are calling up their former colleagues to press upon them how stupid they are, or if they’re just pontificating on TV. glenn 4 hours ago
GLenn, Hillsong is another megacon – er church of happy clappies pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
PPO–I’m relieved to hear you’re not in any danger area. glenn 4 hours ago
PPO – We were in a hellscape here in LA, I know how awful it can be so we’re with folks in Australia who are toughing it out. AdLib 4 hours ago
PPO–So no one knew where the PM was, while NSW was burning? You mean to say your PM doesn’t have cameras following his every move? glenn 4 hours ago
glenn – It is like mass hysteria, all Repubs have gone into this Trump Trance where all reality is fake, lies are as good as truths if they help them and the enemy of their enemy (American Democracy) is their friend. This is a real nightmare and if only the MSM would treat it as such instead of casually fanning themselves and sighing. AdLib 4 hours ago
Sorry folks, typo problems! Tourism Ad had slogan “Where the bloody hell are you?’ Campaign failed, but the slogan is now a hashtag against ScoMo – #WhereTheBloodyHellAreYou He has since grovelled a lame apology and is heading back – at last pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
glenn, he is like beige wallpaper. pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
glenn – I don’t think it will be a dam bursting as much as a gradual leaking through the roof more and more. Bit by bit, it sure seems that different parts of the Repub base are stepping away from Trump but not big segments and not quickly. But I think his support is declining steadily. And impeachment has stained him for good, I think that will pretty much alienate the independent voters he needs for good. AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad–Yeah, I’d love to see Pelosi and the Dems add more articles. Or keep holding public hearings. Or keep asking for Bolton, et al to testify in the House, cause there sure ain’t any chance they’re going to testify in the Senate. I just can’t understand why the TLB keeps saying he wasn’t allowed to call witnesses? Isn’t he the one who kept his aides and everyone around him from testifying? Why doesn’t the press call him out on that when he keeps repeating it? Why didn’t Dems tell repubs that during the hearings? glenn 4 hours ago
Ad, there is as much ‘blood’ on medias’ hands as the GOP. IMPOTUS was just too good for business not to enthusiastically feature everything the dumb shit said or did pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
It’s terrible but I’d think you’re not surprised that Hillsong is being exposed as a selfish, uncaring idiot as all self-obsessed religios extremists are. AdLib 4 hours ago
glenn – It sure would be appreciated if the cowardly Repubs who have left Congress and now claim to be supporting our democracy, would coordinate with each other and make a joint effort to pressure Repubs in The Senate to do the right thing for the country. AdLib 4 hours ago
True, Ad, true. glenn, I’d love to see more and more impeachable evidence pile up, putting McConnell under the gun to let more accumulate, or agree to some sort of attempted fair Senate trial. pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
Ad–Exactly. It is just mind-blowing to me that the press is treating all of the TLB’s and repub’s antics as if they are normal. That letter to Pelosi would’ve gotten any other president put out of office due to the 25th Amendment. The man is mentally ill, and absolutely unfit to be president. It is mind-boggling that the press isn’t asking every goddamn republican why they aren’t pressing for the TLB to have a mental check-up, or asking why they haven’t invoked the 25th amendment, due to the mental illness the TLB shows every day, with every tweet. Dems shouldn’t be the ones asking these questions; the press should be asking them! glenn 4 hours ago
PPO – I think they should promote a series of slogans that follow that theme like, “Who the bloody hell are you?” AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad, hopefully Speaker Pelosi will appoint Merrick Garland as one of the managers! Nyuk, nyuk! pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
PPO–I like that hashtag, not as a tourism slogan, but against the PM. Does he vacation as much as the TLB plays golf? glenn 4 hours ago
Ad, genius! I’ll promote that to hell! pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
Ad–Yes, the NeverTrumpers should stage a visit to Congress similar to Gaetz’s stunt during the impeachment hearings, where he stormed the hearing room. They need to storm McConnell’s and Graham’s offices and ask them WTF? glenn 4 hours ago
glenn – Trump is the Webster’s definition of a compulsive liar. He needs to lie about everything that doesn’t tell the story he wants told about him. He needs to show himself to be a victim who’s been unfairly abused so he claims he hasn’t been allowed the chance to defend himself. It’s all part of the manipulation. And he doesn’t want Dems to have witnesses in a Senate trial but he wants Repubs to drag out Hunter Biden, the whistleblower, etc and pput them in public stocks and whip them. But McConnell is afraid to allow any witnesses because he knows that when the Repubs vote to cover up Trump’s crimes, he could lose the Senate. AdLib 4 hours ago
PPO–Your Merrick Garland idea is brilliant! glenn 4 hours ago
glenn – to be fair, no. But surely his minders and image consultants would have told him not to barrel off to HNL in the middle of the hottest and most fiery weather in Australian history. Apparently he took his family and all to a Hillsong Conference or other. pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
PPO – I’ve mentioned before, during the 2016 election, the CEO of CBS said, “Trump may be bad for the country but he’s good for CBS.” These greedy AOBs in the media would happily kill the golden goose, meaning this country, if it meant they’d make more money. They are enemies of our democracy. AdLib 4 hours ago
The wealthy and powerful class, that is, they are the enemies of democracy. AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad–The TLB is just mentally ill. There is no other way to say it. To see McConnell stuck between a rock and a hard place is so gratifying, isn’t it? He’s damned if he calls witnesses, and damned if he doesn’t. Sad! glenn 4 hours ago
PPO–Yeah, it does seem as though your PM is clueless. I guess his religion is more important than those poor people in NSW. glenn 4 hours ago
PPO – It would drive Trump mad to see The House continuing to expose his evil and criminality. And as developments happen, like the SCOTUS allowing his taxes to go to Congress and forcing his people to testify and provide documents, it could be very damaging to Trump and be a legit basis for more impeachment articles. AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad–And we have fewer and fewer media moguls, which means the media is in the hands of a very few. That is very scary, too. glenn 4 hours ago
Ad–BTW, what’s an AOB? glenn 4 hours ago
McConnell is the evil ‘genius’ behind the very existence of IMPOTUS, starting back with his hatred of President Obama. That slug needs to be retired, prefarably without a pension. pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
The MSM seems to be acting like an 1890’s boxer using The Marquess of Queensberry rules against an MMA fighter. They’re so precious about appearing objective, presenting both sides as equal and non-partisan that they are actually doing Trump’s job for him in normalizing his outrageous and criminal conduct. They should be tearing him apart with the facts that are out in the open and knocking down and in some cases, ignoring his lies. AdLib 4 hours ago
Instead, the MSM is a delivery system for Trump’s propaganda. AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad–Pelosi should tell the TLB that she’s waiting for the courts to rule on the subpoenas that she issued to make sure that all of the TLB’s men get to testify in the House. She should invite the TLB to testify, too, so he “can face his accusers”. glenn 4 hours ago
Ad, at last the Dems are bringing guns to the gunfight. pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
I missed the Vox on Debate night. Who won, in your opinion? pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
Ad–so true. They amplify his tweets ad nauseum, as far as I’m concerned. I’d rather see his tweet once, and all of the replies to it amplified. glenn 4 hours ago
PPO–Agree about the guns to the gunfight. However, I think Schumer is the weak link; there’s no telling if he’ll cave to McConnell’s manipulations. I hope Pelosi has him on a tight leash. glenn 4 hours ago
PPO – I think the case is being made for the next Dem president and hopefully, a fully Dem controlled Congress, to enlarge the SCOTUS and change the courts to fix the damage McConnell and Trump have been doing to our legal system. It will take drastic action which is why Biden would end up being a nightmare as a weak, incrementalist center-rightist. Afte 4 years of insignificant change, Biden and Dems would be booted out of power and say hello to Ivanka or Don Jr. in the WH. AdLib 4 hours ago
BRB glenn 4 hours ago
Lovely bit of shade from Madame Speaker, inviting him to give a SOTU in early 2020 – which he has accepted! pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
glenn – Really like that idea, of ex-Congressional Repubs storming Congress and making a speech that they need to find their spines and stand up for the GOP’s alleged values and our country. AdLib 4 hours ago
BTW, Ad, before I forget, have you heard from Murph? How is he doing, do you know? glenn 4 hours ago
Well, folks, time to go collect our Christmas Ham. May all of the magical PLanet people have a safe, Happy and healthy Christmas and New Year. pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
No question, Trump is mentally deranged. But he has spread his derangement throughout the Repub COngresspeople and his voters. They are all deranged which is pretty damn frightening. And it’s why the Dem nom has to come out with guns blazing, aggressively fighting for profound change and stressing the threat these people represent to the country. Biden and Buttigieg constantly whining about how we need to get along with Republicans would make Neville Chamberlin shiver. AdLib 4 hours ago
Oh, yes, how is Murph? pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
glenn – Mistyed, meant “SOBs”! AdLib 4 hours ago
mistyped. Damn, clumsy fingers tonight. Next time I will drink so at least I have an excuse! AdLib 4 hours ago
pinkpantheroz 4 hours ago
Ad–The problem with Biden, IMO, is I don’t think he could win against the TLB. Sure, he’s polling well, but I don’t think it will hold, especially if Biden gets the nomination. The repubs will dig up every bit of dirt on Hunter, and make up some as they go along, and keep harping on the Burisma connection. I know that Biden could fight back with the TLB’s children, but that won’t matter to repubs. I truly don’t think Biden can win. glenn 4 hours ago
I haven’t heard from Murph yet, I didn’t want to make him feel like he needed to write back to me if he wasn’t feeling up to it. I’ll check in with him next week. AdLib 4 hours ago
G’night PPO. Merry Christmas to you and Fergie. glenn 4 hours ago
McConnell started off condemning Trump in the Repub primary so he wasn’t a pro-Trumper from the start but he has been a co-conspiritor in destroying our democracy, no question. AdLib 4 hours ago
Thanks PPO! You and Fergie have a wonderful Xmas! AdLib 4 hours ago
glenn – Agreed, Pelosi should tip a few cards and say, “Okay, you want to rig the trial? I’ll wait till you change your mind and in the meantime, court cases will make even more witnesses available that you won’t be able to shut out! AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad-those ex-Congressional repubs should make sure there are plenty of cameras following them when they storm Congress. Don’t let the bastards hide in elevators. glenn 4 hours ago
PPO asked who won the debate, I think the only one who got hurt was Buttigieg. What do you think? AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad–I just don’t understand how the TLB has managed to spread his mental derangement all over the repub party. I’ve watched it happen, and I still don’t get it. I guess it’s the federal judges and the power, but it sure doesn’t say much for the character of those men who have followed a mentally deranged man into hell. When do they say, “Enough”? I can’t sell my soul any more to this idiot. That’s what gets me, and no one will ever be able to explain it to me in a billion years! glenn 4 hours ago
Yeah, I think Buttigieg hurt himself with his donor schtick. However, from what I can see from even the liberal websites that I have visited, is that Buttigieg gets a pass, and Warren is the one who was hurt. Go figure. glenn 4 hours ago
Yes, I can’t believe how quickly Dems have forgotten that Hillary was polling way ahead of Trump but as we know, didn’t win the EC or WH. Biden leading Trump now is meaningless, he is too weak to take the barrage coming at him. In fact, even now, his handlers keep him in a bubble away from the public most of the time. In a GE, this will be so destructive to his campaign. Look at how horrible his response to the Hunter Biden attacks was. He is too slow, too old and too weak. Trump could beat him or if not, Biden will be brought down in his first term and lose a second term (he’ll be 82 then!). AdLib 4 hours ago
I think it is human psychology, Lord of the Flies. When weaker minded people are dominated by someone, even someone who is mentally ill, they will adapt and conform to him. Repubs are authoritarians, they are programmed to follow who they see as the Alpha Dog and copy his behavior. AdLib 4 hours ago
I can’t remember if I told you about my Brit friend who just became an American citizen and is totally following the news. I keep telling her that I think Warren should be the nominee, and she keeps saying that she thinks Warren is too far left. We had a great discussion the other day, and I think I’ve convinced her that Warren has plans and strategies to pay for all of her policies; and that the policies she proposes are for the benefit of people like her and me, not for the corporations. She’s coming around; we may have to have a few more discussions, but at least she will vote for the Dem candidate, whoever s/he is. glenn 4 hours ago
Not to mention, Biden has already hinted that he only wants one term. BTW, speaking of Biden’s age, what was with that question to Warren about her being the oldest candidate? glenn 4 hours ago
On Twitter, Buttigieg is getting hammered more and Warren is getting more props. His argument was bogus, calling out her wealth is BS, she was talking about selling out to billionaires. Not having more than a million after an entire career, she’s twice as old as him. How much will he have when he’s her age? He is a fraud. He’s a con man like Trump, just a different kind of one. AdLib 4 hours ago
Except the Alpha Dog is a fucking coward! So there’s that. glenn 4 hours ago
Not sure if I would call Buttigieg a con man, but he isn’t showing me the promise he once was. glenn 4 hours ago
Glad to see the twitterverse is on Warren’s side. I just love how consistent she is; how smart; and yes, how persistent! glenn 4 hours ago
No, you didn’t mention your friend before. As a Brit, it’s odd that she sees Warren as too far left, the UK has NHS which is like Medicare for All. And all her other proposals would be considered moderate in the UK. But glad to hear she’s thoughtful and considering your position on Warren. AdLib 4 hours ago
We don’t need a weak, one term Dem. That only opens the door to Ivanka or Don Jr. winning in 2024. AdLib 4 hours ago
The Alpha Weasel. AdLib 4 hours ago
glenn – I think Buttigieg is a phony. He is slick, he is brilliant but I think he is running a con and there is a lot of evidence to prove that. He says all this BS that iis wholly dishonest but says it in such a smart way, it sounds legit. I can de-construct most of what he says to show it’s inauthentic. AdLib 3 hours ago
And if not inauthentic, it is poorly thought out. He is talented but so is Trump when it comes to presentation. People are too easily brought along by smooth and slick presentation. The substance of what Buttigieg says is deeply flawed and at times, dishonest. AdLib 3 hours ago
But she’s not a fan of the NHS, which, according to her, is going bankrupt. She says that when they changed the NHS taxing structure a few years ago, that all the rich people took all of their money out of the UK, and therefore were not contributing to the NHS any more, which meant that the middle class had to pay more. And the money for the NHS comes right off the top of their paychecks; their taxing system is not like ours where we get to pay taxes in April. Every single one of their taxes is taken straight out of their paychecks. So, she doesn’t like Medicare for All, which is why I told her that Warren has ways to pay for it. Also reminded her that the billionaire class may be able to take their personal money out of the US, but if they own corporations here, they can’t take the corporate profits out of the US. If Warren gets to pass her tax plan, corporations would pay taxes on their profits made in the US, which would make a considerable difference. As we all know, there are no easy answers, and everything is connected. I’m just glad she’s paying attention, and not just to the sound bites, but to the reasons/implications behind the policies. glenn 3 hours ago
Ad–OMG! I want to vomit to even think of Sparkle Princess or the evil clone running for president! YUKKKKK! glenn 3 hours ago
The Alpha Cowardly Lion. glenn 3 hours ago
For example, he is so upset about programs that provide benefits across the board. He argues that we shouldn’t have free public college for everyone because wealthy people might be able to use it for their kids. First, wealthy people don’t send their kids to public colleges and second, why is he so obsessed with preventing a universal program and cynically using the wealthy as a reason to oppose it when he’s smart enough to knwo they won’t. He is dishonest. And his plan, which would cut off people making $150k or above is ignorant, families living in expensive big cities like LA, NY, SF, etc. who make that amount have little disposible income, it’s like making half of that in smaller cities and towns. A two bedroom apartment in NY averages around $4-$5 thousand a month. He doesn’t know that? Nope, he is a conservative who opposes social programs. AdLib 3 hours ago
Okay, Ad, I trust your judgment on Buttigieg. What a waste that he’s such a phony, though.. glenn 3 hours ago
Many supporters of most candidates on Twitter and strong opposition to most of them too but Buttigieg had more negative feedback after the debate than anyone else. AdLib 3 hours ago
You bring up some good points about Buttigieg. glenn 3 hours ago
It’s encouraging that people are paying attention and understanding what Buttigieg is saying. glenn 3 hours ago
Very good points! Also, your friend should know that it was under the Tories (conservatiives) that the NHS was defunded and damaged intnetionally to push it towards privatization. Warren wants to take the US back to the good old days of the NHS in the UK. Also, wait until your friend has an expensive medical procedure and has to pay a huge deductible or has it denied by her insurance company and has to lay out tens of thousands out of pocket or not have that procedure. The private insurance system is a nightmare for many Americans. AdLib 3 hours ago
Ad, I am digging this discussion, but it’s late here, and I have to get up early to go Christmas shopping with my daughter tomorrow. We just have some last-minute things we have to do, and we want to get an early start. I’m so looking forward to Christmas this year. The two oldest grandkids are coming in, along with the grandon-in-law, and my great grandson. Can’t wait to see them all! Merry Christmas to you and your family. Peace to you and yours.. glenn 3 hours ago
grandson-in-law glenn 3 hours ago
Buttigieg started his campaign supporting Medicare For All then flipped on it and now condemns it and Warren and Bernie because he sees it as advantageous to himself politically. He deceived voters last night praising himself as bringing together a massive campaign effort when he ran for state office until Klobuchar stopped him to say he lost that race by 20 points. He is dishonest, I never start off trusting someone as slick as he is. AdLib 3 hours ago
Sounds great, glenn! Have a wonderful Christmas with your wonderfu family! AdLib 3 hours ago
wonderful family! Darn fingers! AdLib 3 hours ago
