Hey PPO!
AdLib2 hours ago
Hey Ad!

I think Google has stopped allowing embedding of videos. So with your permission, I would like to upload the Home Movies to The Planet’s YouTube channel. I would have to remove the audio because it’s copyrighted.
AdLib2 hours ago
The music, that is.
AdLib2 hours ago
No Problem, Ad! Great to have a solution.
pinkpantheroz
Thank you!
pinkpantheroz
Absolutely!
AdLib2 hours ago
How’s everything else your way?
AdLib2 hours ago
Not too bad, thanks, still getting eye injections every 4 weeks for AMD. Good news that it is in only one eye. So can still drive
pinkpantheroz
That’s the upside. Do they help with your vision?
AdLib2 hours ago
Well, they stop the eye deteriorating any more than what has happened already. But I managed to tell my GP about it early enough for them to save quite a bit.
pinkpantheroz
That’s good, to have caught it early.
AdLib2 hours ago
So, do you think Cohen is really going to give up Trump?
AdLib2 hours ago
For sure. And I’m now used to the jabs. no discomfort, just hate needles!
pinkpantheroz
Cohen will have no choice. He’s ruined either way, just how badly is up to him. No jailtime is more attractive, I’m sure!
pinkpantheroz
Amazing what we can get acclimated to.
AdLib2 hours ago
Seeing that Les Moonvez is in a spot of bother!
pinkpantheroz
True, Ad. What Fergie went through with the cancer is something I don’t think I could do.
pinkpantheroz
If Cohen can be chopping down Trump while Manafort is being crushed in his trial which starts next week, it could be a perfect storm for a Blue Wave.
AdLib2 hours ago
Here’s hoping, Ad. the thought of this going even to 2020 is nauseating.
pinkpantheroz
Moonvez is the one who said during the election that he didn’t care if Trump was bad for America because he was good for ratings.
AdLib2 hours ago
Well, this will be good for him, then! NOT!
pinkpantheroz
I can’t imagine going through that hell either, some people are so strong when they need to be.
AdLib2 hours ago
Russia will try to stop Dems from winning the House, teamed up with Trump, the GOP and the NRA but I think voters are so convicted about stopping Trump, nothing can stand in their way.
AdLib2 hours ago
For sure, she’s the strongest person I know. She has made me stronger for her and by her example.
pinkpantheroz
And Trump was BSing about the good economic numbers today but the next quarter ends just before the Nov election and with the hit from his tariffs, it should also hammer him and enthusiasm for Repubs.
AdLib2 hours ago
I see Rosie The Racist has failed with her ‘apology’! Sorry ‘You Thought My Tweet Was Racist’ No thought involved. It was!
pinkpantheroz
You never know until you’re forced into such a severe situation, how you’ll cope. Women are sometimes stronger than men when it comes to that.
AdLib2 hours ago
Numbers are OK, but still not as good as Obamas.
pinkpantheroz
ROSIE: “I’m sorry if you thought my saying ‘n****r’ was racist.”
AdLib2 hours ago
Nope and as Trump’s damage to the economy and skyrocketing deficits sink in, he will look far worse.
AdLib2 hours ago
hiya glenn!
pinkpantheroz
I can only imagine what evil Repubs would have in store for America next year if Dems didn’t win back the House. They’d slash Social Security, Medicare, Welfare, Medicaid, food stamps, it would be like a post-apocolyptic movie.
AdLib2 hours ago
Hey glenn!
AdLib2 hours ago
I just noticed it was to Hannity. 2 peas on a pod, those two
pinkpantheroz
Not to mention kill Obamacare and end coverage for pre-existing conditions.
AdLib2 hours ago
Anyone looking at Hannity has got to feel, “I must have done something terrible to be hosted by this creature.”
AdLib2 hours ago
Yes. Dems MUST win the house or senate at least. Can someone please put a muzzle on Bernie Sanders and exile him spmewhere? He’s splitting an alreadt split Dem party.
pinkpantheroz
Hi Ad and PPO–Just reading about your amazing wife, PPO, and your recognition of her strength shows what a wonderful person/husband you are.
glenn
No, glenn, not me. She’s my life. enough said.
pinkpantheroz
PPO–I kind of agree with your assessment of Bernie, but I think I’d rather have a split Dem party than one like the repubs have marching in lockstep with a traitorous, lying bully.
glenn
PPO – Don’t take your eyes off the prize. Putin wants Dems fighting against each other and dissing Bernie and Hillary. Can’t do his work for him.
AdLib2 hours ago
PPO–
glenn

Ad–Fake news! Putin wants Dems to win!
glenn

glenn
pinkpantheroz

That’s right, glenn, so that Trump can claim the election is rigged and declare himself Fueh….. er President for Life. the SCOTUS will OK that
pinkpantheroz
I am here early for a change!
MurphTheSurf3
Hiya Murph!
pinkpantheroz
Dems who support Hillary or Bernie can come together over a common enemy, Trump. The one way Dems can give up a likely victory in Nov is to shoot at each other instead of banding together against Trump.
AdLib2 hours ago
Hey Murph!
AdLib2 hours ago
Ad, that’s what I worry about. Elected bums on seats matter more than great protests and signs
pinkpantheroz
HI PPO, Glenn and Ad….
MurphTheSurf3
I love the way the Cohen story is heating up, and the lying bully’s tweets are so predictable. First comes denial, then come the insults, then comes blaming Hillary or President Obama, then comes the half-assed admission that he actually did do what he’s accused of doing; then comes the denial of his half-assed admission, then come more insults. I’m getting so tired of the reruns of this reality shit-show.
glenn
Are your co-op pals reassured with Trump’s ‘deal/nodeal’ with the EU?
pinkpantheroz
Hey Murph! How goes it?
glenn
Yep, PPO. Which is why Dems need to focus on the 99% we agree on and let the negativity from 2016 go.
AdLib2 hours ago
Ad, True.
pinkpantheroz
How is it going? I am working for Sen Claire McKasskill’s reelection. I am working to keep Cavanaugh out of the Supreme Court. I am working to turn two red House of Representative seats her blue. I am working to protect the health insurance those I care about so recently got. I am trying to provide an alternative narrative that I regard as solidly factual. But somehow I wonder if I am trying to stare down the whirlwind.
MurphTheSurf3
Oops there goes another rubber tree plant, Murph! Keep on Keeping on!
pinkpantheroz
This is what drives me mad! In my neck of the Missouri woods farmers are hurting having crops they cannot sell because of the tariff war. In my neck of the Missouri woods concerns about medical care are growing as insurance companies play with the rules (without challenge) and reverse course on coverage leaving many without the care they had three years ago. In my neck of the woods layoffs have begun in plants where steel is a big part of the production process thanks to the tariff war. In my neck of the Missouri woods companies that look to farmers for orders for everything from machinery to fertilizer are projecting a big downturn in their businesses as a result of the hit farmers are taking thanks to the tarrifs. In my neck of the woods a number of farmers, landscapers, roofers, and contractors depend on seasonal migrant labor and the numbers of those laborers are down, way down as the war on their people remains at center stage. In my neck of the woods state universities and colleges are shifting their admission and financial aid policies limiting programs for this historically disadvantaged (the poor, minorities). In my neck of the woods there is great concern about Trump’s relationship with a Russian Autocrat, a Korean Autocrat, and even a Philipinno Autocrat. In my neck of the woods bible believing Baptists find Trump’s history of extra-marital affairs disturbing. In my neck of the woods many find Trump’s style and language out of step with their own preferences and upbringing.
MurphTheSurf3
glenn – Nothing was funnier than Giuliani chanting “liar” about Cohen, hosts on the news were saying they thought he was talking about Trump because he had been fired.
AdLib2 hours ago
Murph–Good on ya! I think the whirlwind is turning into a dust devil (as we used to call them in Saudi Arabia), and the devil–oops, I mean the lying bully in the oval office–is beginning to unwind. With a little help from his former “fixer”.
glenn

Hey Jenuwin!
AdLib2 hours ago
Hi Jenuwin….Genuine?
MurphTheSurf3
Jenuwin is for real!
AdLib2 hours ago
Ad..when I saw Giuliana’s spin on Cohen I thought he was talking about his boss and that they had had a huge falling out.
MurphTheSurf3
I asked a group of friends at a local watering hole. Each and everyone is from a group represented by the statements above. I have heard their concerns and complaints often enough. Yesterday, after the reports hit the news about Coen and the Trump Tower Russia meeting, I stopped by for a beer and heard the words of support for their man. I asked why, given all of their worries about the Trump administration, they still back him so forthrightly. I asked if I could actually record their words so that I could report them accurately. They agreed. So here goes.
MurphTheSurf3
So, another day in Trump’s Alternate Universe, eh, Murph. PLEASE, PLEASE let November work out well. The alternatives are too horrific
pinkpantheroz
Murph – And I heard that the $12 billion, which won’t be enough, is meaningless when farmers have to make good on loans after the 1st of the year and some will lose farms.
AdLib2 hours ago
Murph–you mean Guiliani’s spin on Cohen today. A week or so ago, Guiliani was calling Cohen “an honorable man”.
glenn
Here is what my friends had to say re. their support for the man while acknowledging the many ways in which they were being harmed… “Trump is one of us. He speaks for us. He cares about us.” “The Presidents says the shit I would want to say if I were where he is.” “Donald doesn’t take crap from anyone. That’s why he gets so much done.” “Everything he hates, I hate. Everything he loves, I love.” “He sounds like me at the dinner table on Sunday afternoon.” “Trump knows how unfairly we have been treated and he is going to make it right. Things might be bumpy for a while but he is the only one who can do it.” “Look at the success the guy has had. Look at his education. Look at what he gave up to run for President. He did it for me. The least I can do is stand up for him.” “Things in this country have been going wrong for a long time and he says he is going to make them right. I am for that.” “This guy is for real Americans. Born here. Raised here. He’s a patriot. He’s for the military and the police. He’s for me.” “He will bring the jobs back and fight for the little guy. Like me.” “When he talks its me talking. He knows who our enemies are and he will get them.” “Every liberal I know, like you, is against him. That’s a plus in my mind.”
MurphTheSurf3
PPO I am worrying right up to November and appreciate when those from far away worry along with me.
MurphTheSurf3
Yes Ad….that money is tokenism….a short fix….just to buy them off until the elections…only a few realize this.
MurphTheSurf3
Glenn…Giulani is one the the rat pack of liars.
MurphTheSurf3
Good God in Heaven, Murph. What keeps you sane in that atmosphere? Yes, the entire world is on tenderhooks about Nov. not just me.
pinkpantheroz
Murph – The key statement in all of that is, “He hates everything (and everyone) I hate.”
AdLib2 hours ago
PPO…..sanity can be found in a good rum and coke…or at least it feels that way.
MurphTheSurf3
HI, Jenuin, Welcome
pinkpantheroz
Cults are built on fear and hatred. Trump has enthralled these hateful and fearful people by validating what’s worst in them.
AdLib2 hours ago
Ad..I thught that statement was brutally honest.
MurphTheSurf3
Hi everyone! Thanks for the welcome!
Jenuwin
Murph–that’s the scariest thing about the lying bully’s supporters. They believe what the lying bully says–even though almost everything he says is a lie–yet ignore his actions. The last statement is the one that drives them the most–they have been conditioned to hate liberals, so anything liberals are for–they’re against.
glenn
Ad….cultish movements have the same mechanism at work…thus the comparisons to other persona driven authoritarian governments.
MurphTheSurf3
Hi Jenuwin!
glenn
Glenn….and he said it to me…..a known liberal…and this guy is one of my friends.
MurphTheSurf3
We’re swamped with stuff from Mueller, Cohen, Trump, WH, how can we keep sane in all the insanity?
pinkpantheroz
A friend in Britain wrote me this line: “We in Britain who opposed Brexit wondered how we could have screwed up so badly and then you chaps elected Trump and showed us.”
MurphTheSurf3
Murph – Did you see the latest polling in the rust belt?
AdLib2 hours ago
Murph all your friends statements are exactly what a lot of my friends are saying back home. I feel Trump is actually gaining more support and fear he will be re-elected
Jenuwin
Murph–We will never change the lying bully’s supporters minds. What we have to do is make sure we urge everyone we know to vote for Democrats. We are being “led” by less than 30% of the population of the US. Hopefully, sane people will come out and vote in November. It’s our only chance.
glenn
ad….good reality check…how come his national numbers are up.
MurphTheSurf3
Remember they said that the Tea Party had taken over the GOP. Well, haven’t we proof with the impeachment papers?
pinkpantheroz
Jen….and hold the House and strengthen the senate…yeah…scared shitless for the same reasons.
MurphTheSurf3
Glenn getting all Dems to vote…..that is a challenge….I remain stunned at how many who have so much at stake are so blase.
MurphTheSurf3
GOTV gets more and more urgent the closer we get.
pinkpantheroz
Murph – Agreed, those were very honest expressions but they are clearly deluded. Voluntarily so, they will rationalize anything Trump does because he’s their fist punching minorities and elevating white nationalism.
AdLib2 hours ago
PPO..those articles of impeachment actually give me some hope as there are so few sponsors and little support greeted then when they were published.
MurphTheSurf3
Ad..like your phrasing there….he is their fist and their elevator.
MurphTheSurf3
…and this is before the Russian hackers get to work. A good Leader of the Dems is needed. Is there anyone who can be that?
pinkpantheroz
Murph–I agree. I don’t think most people are paying attention to news about the lying bully. I think they have tuned it all out. They won’t care until it’s too late.
glenn
Murph – Yep, the Hitler/Mussolini comparisons aren’t exaggerations, this is an identical personality cult built on hatred of minorities.
AdLib2 hours ago
PPO – there was an online meeting of all of McCasskills organizers to establish tighter protocols.
MurphTheSurf3
A start, Murph.
pinkpantheroz
When Trump announced that he was running for Prez, I said all along he would win. All my liberal friends disagreed and I hate that I was right about that which is why I am so afraid. I keep close tabs on what trump supporters are saying and it is scary how much stronger they have become in their support for him.
Jenuwin
Glenn….and that too is a tactic of the cult authoritarians….fill the void with noise.
MurphTheSurf3
brb
pinkpantheroz
Jenuwin….I had the same fears. I saw him successfully crushing GOP opposition and I did not see Clinton catching fire.
MurphTheSurf3
Murph – Trump’s national numbers are up because the GOP is shrinking, representing more extremists and the higher percentage of extremists are giving Trump higher Repub approvals. But indies and of course Dems are getting worse for him.
AdLib2 hours ago
Ad, but overall his numbers are still better….scary.
MurphTheSurf3
Genuwin–it is scary how they lying bully’s supporters justify his every assault on our democracy. I saw the beginning of a video where a Latina women was saying that we’ve need an authoritarian figure like the lying bully for a long time, and she’s glad he’s in office.
glenn
Glenn…I have a black associate who says the same thing.
MurphTheSurf3
Once again my concerned friends, I’d offer the results of all special elections as proof that Dem turnout is surging.
AdLib2 hours ago
Ad….I want to believe…I do…but I keep flashing back to November 2016 and the horror on a Tuesday eve.
MurphTheSurf3
PPO – Dems don’t need a national leader, midterms are a referendum on the party in power and about local issues and the specific people running. Who was the Repub leader when the Tea Party won big?
AdLib2 hours ago
Murph–it just blows my mind. I think the strong economy is the lying bully’s “ace in the hole”. As long as he can brag about GDP, and low unemployment, all of the other things just don’t matter to his supporters. Not the locking up of babies, not his rolling over for putin, not his tariffs, not his trashing of our allies, NOTHING. It’s getting more and more scary by the day.
glenn
Glenn! Wow! Trump has the religious right support because of Israel and pro-life. I grew up in religious area and the all feel as long as the president stands for those two things they “can forgive all of his transgressions… as Jesus would do”. They don’t like all the nasty things he is doing but they are compelled by their church to stand behind him because if those two stances. Plus a lot don’t track out of the country so they are terrified of anyone not like them
Jenuwin
Ad….the leadership of the Tea Party was hidden but Dick Armey and the Kochs were at its heart.
MurphTheSurf3
Glenn…but that great economy is a chimera as well……most of the best numbers are reflections on the health of the investing world…for workers wages remains stagnant and worker representation continues to falter.
MurphTheSurf3
Ad–I am also encouraged by all the repubs who have spoken out about the lying bully’s actions in Helsinki. However, NONE of those who have spoken about that are in any position to DO anything about it. Not one congress critter has done anything, despite the evidence of the Helsinki fiasco. The congress critters just shrug their shoulders and go on decimating all of our social safety nets and our environment.
glenn
Murph – 2016 was a perfect storm. Would Trump have won without Comey re-opening the investigation into Hillary’s emails? Without Facebook and Twitter serving as delivery vehicles for Russian invasions into our election? And Hillary had such high negatives to begin with. A perfect storm and she still won the majority and Trump squeaked by on only 70k votes with all that help. That’s not 2018.
AdLiban hour ago
Glenn….GOP, even those not running, may gab a bit but they do not act.
MurphTheSurf3
Ad….and yet the predictors were pretty much unanimous in their belief that Clinton would win…..
MurphTheSurf3
glenn – Trump’s supporters don’t care about the economy either. Watch what they say next quarter when numbers tank, they’ll say it doesn’t matter. And no one is supporting Trump because of the economy except the 1% and that ain’t enough to win elections.
AdLiban hour ago
Ad–I understand what you’re saying, and really, really hope you are correct. Once again, though, none of those issues have gone away. The lying bully and his supporters bring them up every other day, in almost every tweet, post, etc. As far as the russian invasion into our elections, many of them say that they’re GLAD that russia intervened, because at least we don’t have Hillary as president.
glenn
I just don’t have much hope that we can overcome that.
glenn
who believes Les Moonvez’ denials?
pinkpantheroz
Murph – But my point is that Tea Partiers did not have a public national leader yet won big. Dems don’t need one either, this election is about Trump and local issues.
AdLiban hour ago
Murph–exactly. Only congress can act, and they aren’t.
glenn
An uninformed electorate driven by its emotion supports demagoguery as a currency for political power.
MurphTheSurf3
Pp – I’m torn. He’s been a good client.. certainly charming
Jenuwin
Ad..my point is that the TP was united by carefully honed messaging and vehicles to express outrage…all well funded and centralized in their organization.
MurphTheSurf3
client? Wow! What professoin are/were you in, if I may ask?
pinkpantheroz
Jen..who is your client?
MurphTheSurf3
glenn – This post-Helsinki problem for Trump is that it kills enthusiasm in the GOP. And Cohen is doing that, and the Manafort trial will and more Mueller indictments will, and new Putin meetings will…by Nov, the GOP will be so discouraged, the Blue Wave could rise even higher.
AdLiban hour ago
Ad–not sure Dems should make the election about the lying bully. The election HAS to be about what policies/legislation Dems will institute to solve some of our problems, such as immigration, abortion rights, the environment, and the assaults on our law enforcement and intelligence agencies, such as the FBI and the DOJ.
glenn
agree, glenn. going negative just on trump wou’t be enough
pinkpantheroz
Ad…all of that depends on those things being perceived as you see them…if that does not happen….crash.
MurphTheSurf3
Ad–From your post to the electorate’s votes!
glenn
hear hear glenn!
pinkpantheroz
Murph – Again, the polls were generally correct in 2016, Hillary was predicted to win by 2%-3% and she did. But pollsters didn’t know or factor in the Russian attack on our election.
AdLiban hour ago
And in those swing states using Dem data.
AdLiban hour ago
Ad, but they were right and the largins would have been wider but for the russians
pinkpantheroz
margins!
pinkpantheroz
PPO–Going negative just reinforces the lying bully’s supporters. They see it as pissing off the libs, and they’ll put up with ANYTHING from the lying bully to do that.
glenn
Ad….I still worry…as I see the instruments that put her out and him in still very much in place.
MurphTheSurf3
Hello Guest 759
MurphTheSurf3
Hi, 759! welcome
pinkpantheroz
Murph, I am using facts and figures, special election results and polls. I haven’t seen any numbers that support your position.
AdLiban hour ago
Trump has proven immune to such analysis to date. Again. hope you are correct. I am working hard here in Mo and in Il.
MurphTheSurf3
Just be sure not to become complacent about any ‘tide’ against Trump. We need to keep concentrating on the issues that will work locally
pinkpantheroz
Murph–yup. All of the conspiracy theories and more are still floating around. The Clinton foundation lies; the email lies; the Steele dossier lies; the “witch hunt” lies–all of it has been so ingrained into the lying bully’s supporters that they will NEVER give them up, no matter how many facts show they are lies.
glenn
glenn – Off year elections are always a referendum vote. What did the Tea Party run on? Hatred and fear of Obama and Obamacare. That’s it, tat’s all they needed.
AdLiban hour ago
Glenn…..smoke and mirrors fools audiences …….
MurphTheSurf3
PPO–Agreed. Complacency will defeat Dems again.
glenn
Murph–Not all audiences, but definitely the audiences that attend the lying bully’s rallies.
glenn
sorry guys my computer crashed
Jenuwin
Glenn…and many who sit at home watching those rallies
MurphTheSurf3
Jen…crashed computer…..or russian hacking?
MurphTheSurf3
glenn – Not saying Dems should go negative, I think they should talk about what damage Trump has done and what they want to protect from further damage such as Roe v. Wade, ACA, Social Security and Medicare, etc.
AdLiban hour ago
my own hacking…better than the russions
Jenuwin
Ad–I understand what you’re saying, and it is logical. However, the past 18 months has shown me that logic, facts, and norms no longer drive most of the voting populace in the US.
glenn
What gives me the utter shits is why the MSM show those rallies. Nothing worthy of a Presidential speech comes out of them, only more ammo for the Trumpeters.
pinkpantheroz
Jenuin
pinkpantheroz
Ad–As long as Dems use positive phrasing such as “want they want to protect from further damage” without using the lying bully’s name.
glenn
PPO…most of the media is still driven by a “fairness” journalism ethics AND they make good tv and draw crowds. $$$$$$$$.
MurphTheSurf3
As Moonvez said: It makes Money”
pinkpantheroz
Murph – Just as Trump voters shouldn’t be letting emotions drive their perceptions, neither should we. As shocking as Trump’s election was, we now understand why it happened. Especially, the powerful interference by Russia, using the Dem’s data on voters in the Rust Belt to manipulate and depress turnout. Just because Trump won when we weren’t aware of what was going on, we shouldn’t discredit numbers and facts due to emotions, as Trumpers do.
AdLiban hour ago
PPO–I agree. The media is way overboard on breathlessly reporting on every word that comes out of the lying bully’s lips. Then they compound that by having supporters of the lying bully on panels to repeat the lies and bullshit. Usually, with not one Dem on to counteract the lies. And, it seems to me the lying bully’s supporters always seem to get the last word!
glenn
Maybe the tactic is to use trump’s words and actions against himself. Show how much a tariff ‘win’ is doing for farmers – not the conglomerates, the real ones. How much the manufactueres are ‘winning with steel tariffs causing layffs
pinkpantheroz
PPO–I’m pretty sure that’s the intent–problem is, it’s not working. Even farmers who are being hurt by the tariffs still support the lying bully, as evidenced by Murph’s recordings of what they say.
glenn
Ad, my experience is very local….Here in Mo. the key to Dem victories is massive turnout in the big population centers…and this year voter registration has show only a tiny uptick….I will tell you what will say a lot…if the Referendum to make Mo. a Right to Work State fails…If it does, and there is a lot of energy around that, that would be a ver good development.
MurphTheSurf3
glenn – I completely disagree. Just because the “stars” of the show right now are lunatics and racists, it doesn’t mean all Americans or even a majority are hateful and deluded. These people who are out of their minds, have no shame or decency are a minority. Look at every special election, look at the huge protests since Trump came in, the evidence of Dem activism and energizing is plain. We should not buy into Trump’s definition of reality, we need to see it for what it truly is…and it is not made in Trump’s image.
AdLiban hour ago
Murph–There may not be much of an uptick in voter registration in MO, but I am encouraged by the increasing number of voter registrations among young people.
glenn
Sadly, you’re right, glenn and Murph. Still, we gotta keep up pressure. We also need Mueller to nail a few more hides to the barn and undo the foundations under trump.
pinkpantheroz
I get it Murph. However, you have to understand that the concern and frustration you’re feeling in that difficult red state is not a reflection of purple and blue states, where control of Congress will be decided.
AdLiban hour ago
Maybe the emphasis the Dems should work on is to use social media more. That is where most young voters will get their news and form opinions.
pinkpantheroz
Glenn…where?
MurphTheSurf3
And yes, there has been a big bump in registration for Dems AND a shrinking of the GOP.
AdLiban hour ago
Ad–your optimism sustains me. I’m also optimistic about the chances of a Dem governor–a black woman, no less–here in GA. The campaign has really just started, because the repubs just got their candidate due to a run-off which was held this past Tuesday. So, now we know who the two candidates are–let the games begin!
glenn
Glenn…and that GOP candidate is a real loon it seems
MurphTheSurf3
glenn – I am so hoping Abrams wins!!!
AdLiban hour ago
Ad….I join you in that….her record speaks of conviction and competence.

Murph–Voter data for March and April show that young registrants represented a higher portion of new voters in Florida, North Carolina and Pennsylvania, among other states. In Florida, voters younger than 26 jumped from less than 20 percent of new registrants in January and February to nearly 30 percent by March, the month of the gun control rallies. That ticked down to about 25 percent in April, as the demonstrations subsided, but registration of young voters remained above the pace set before 17 students and faculty were killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. In North Carolina, voters younger than 25 represented around 30 percent of new registrations in January and February; in March and April, they were around 40 percent.
Democratic turnout has risen more sharply than Republican turnout in at least 123 congressional districts, including districts where Republican incumbents are most vulnerable, in states like California and New Jersey.
Murph–the GOP candidate is “strong on immigration” and has been endorsed by the lying bully, so that qualifies as a “loon” in our book, but not in the GOP’s book.

POLITICO Playbook: Democrats are ‘substantial favorites’ to win the House – DAVE WASSERMAN of the COOK POLITICAL REPORT, the foremost expert on House elections, will send an email to subscribers this morning with this headline: “House: The Bottom Line in Republicans’ 42 Open Seats.” In short: Wasserman seems pretty bullish on a Dem takeover.
You all may not know that Mo was Democratic for much of its history. Remember Truman…he was mainline….My county was Dem until 2010.

Murph–so there are good stats out there, as Ad keeps telling us. I just have a very cynical attitude after the last 18 months. Hope Cohen has LOTS of tapes!

Just because Trump doesn’t believe in reality doesn’t mean Dems shouldn’t. The pendulum is swinging back big time. We have to trust our institutions and protect them from attack. Not buy into the distrust of facts, figures and institutions as Trump is trying to sell.

Well, gents, I’m taking my “cautious optimism” and my cynicism out of here for this week. Ad, I so hope you’re correct about the blue wave. Murph, thanks for working your heart out to make a difference. G’night all. Have a good week!
