Vox Populi, our weekly live chat about the week’s events begins tonight at 7:00pm PDT. Hope to see you then!
AdLib5 hours ago
Hey glenn!
AdLib2 hours ago
Hey Ad–is hypocrisy the word of the night?
glenn
These are unreal times.
AdLib2 hours ago
Hypocrisy is the only reality that’s been consistent.
AdLib2 hours ago
Agreed–as so many people keep saying, when are we going to wake up from this nightmare of a presidency?
glenn
We have complete Repub/Trump control of all branches of our government now. And Trump being lauded by the MSM for bombing on a whim?
AdLib2 hours ago
Hey FD!
AdLib2 hours ago
Hey Ad, and other peeps!
Fuzzy Dunlop
I just don’t understand republican thinking. When a democrat changes his or her mind, takes a different stance on an issue, or says one thing and does another, then that person is a liar. Yet, all of the things that repubs have said and/or done lately have all been a complete 180 degrees from what they have said or done in the past, and the base just shrugs their shoulders. If nothing else, this week has proven beyond a doubt that IOIYAR!
glenn
I think reality is broken. That needs to be repaired before infrastructure…it is the most basic infrastructure.
AdLib2 hours ago
Hi FD, how are you.
glenn
Hey glenn! I’m doing great! I hope you are the same.
Fuzzy Dunlop
How do you repair reality, with all of the nonsense out there?
glenn
FD–yes, I’m doing well, thanks.
glenn
glenn – When a Dem changes their mind, as Obama did about bombing Syria, they are “weak” and “flip flop”. When Republicans are impulsive like Trump, they are “flexible”.
AdLib2 hours ago
glenn – We have to live with a broken reality for at least a year and a half, until the 2018 elections…at least.
AdLib2 hours ago
Ad–or “strong”, as so many have said these past two days. As in, “we no longer have a ‘pussy’ in the WH.” When those same people, including the one who just ordered the bombing, said over and over and over again, that we should not be bombing!
glenn
We have to gather news proportionately. We also must not confuse opinion, with fact. I got a good bit to say about the strike on the Syrian air base. first, I think it’s a yuge wag the dog scenario.
Fuzzy Dunlop
Hey Beatlex!
AdLib2 hours ago
FD- a wag the dog scenario in what respect?
glenn
Hey Beatlex–how’s it going?
glenn
to distract from the russia investigation. Bigly!
Fuzzy Dunlop
glenn – And what were the real results of the bombing? The airfield and the planes are all still fine!
AdLib2 hours ago
Hey everyone! My real fear is that Trump will begin to enjoy showing off his power as much as he likes to grab women.Hang on
Beatlex
FD–my understanding of a “wag the dog” scenario is that it really didn’t happen; that is is made up. I believe that the bombing was not a “wag the dog” scenario, just a distraction.
glenn
Are you sure, glenn?
Fuzzy Dunlop
Sorry, that didn’t come out correctly. This bombing is more than “just a distraction”, it’s a fucking disaster!
glenn
I wish the FBI would hurry up and prove a Russia connection so the could impeach this dangerous man
Beatlex
glenn – We can’t overlook the possibility that this was orchestrated. It looked that way, all the bombing yet next to no real destruction and Russia and Syria were warned well ahead of time. That’s how you do military strikes that are legit? Warn everyone before you launch and avoid real destruction?
AdLib2 hours ago
I think Assad wanted to test Trump, and Putin didn’t want Trump to do any real damage. Crazy? A Bit!
Fuzzy Dunlop
think Russia investigation!
Fuzzy Dunlop
Beatlex – Isn’t that the real takeaway for Trump now? Everyone loves him when he launches impulsive military attacks? What happens with North Korea now?
AdLib2 hours ago
FD–First of all, let me say that I don’t believe the bombing is made up; I believe it’s real. I just didn’t categorize it as a “wag the dog” scenario because of what I thought a WTD was. However, my bad–I just looked it up and you are correct; it is and was intended to change the narrative. So, thanks for making me look it up and understand more fully what it means.
glenn
WWIII Adlib
Beatlex
Ad–and remember how trump always says that he will not tell people what he’s going to do militarily? And, of course, what does he do? Tell people, mostly the people he’s going to bomb, that he’s going to bomb them! What a surprise!
glenn
My pleasure, glenn. Only an inquisitive (smart) person would have done so.
Fuzzy Dunlop
We have an impulsive brat running North Korea, and a self indulgent boy in the White House, what could go wrong??
Beatlex
glenn – Wag the Dog refers to a contrived politically beneficial scenario where the public is deceived into thinking all of it is legit. Assad definitely used chemical warfare so that’s legit but the appearance of the U.S. attack sure could be purely political and nto as represented.
AdLib2 hours ago
FD–yes, think russian investigation, indeed. He has thrown so much shit against the wall that didn’t stick; so let’s go to the heavy artillery….literally.
glenn
Absoluetly, glenn!
Fuzzy Dunlop
Beatlex – We’ve probably got a year before the Senate Intelligence hearings complete themselves…and who knows what’s going on with the FBI investigation? Comey threw the election, will he really take down his preferred president?
AdLib2 hours ago
Beatlex–the descriptions of the leaders could be interchanged, and they still apply. Both of them are impulsive brats and self-indulgent!
glenn
FD–thanks for the compliment.
glenn
Adlib,I think he will if the evidence shows it,everyone is watching
Beatlex
FD – That is a very logical scenario. It does feel like Putin told Trump not to damage the air field or planes in a real way.
AdLib2 hours ago
Hey PPO!
AdLib2 hours ago
Evening, All! Nice to see taxpayers money literally go up in smoke just to divert from Russiagate.
pinkpantheroz
I think the decision to strike, or the excuse for the strike is based on the theory of proportionality. That the strike must be proportional to the event which caused the retaliation. It’s a diplomatic tool, mostly.
Fuzzy Dunlop
Hey Oz!
Beatlex
HI, Beat! Long time!
pinkpantheroz
Ad–saw some pics online today; can’t remember where, because I was looking all over today for info. However, these pics show the air base that we bombed, and it looked deserted. Now, the picture shows what looks like the outer edge of the air base, because the bombs in the background are pretty far away, but what shows is mostly empty space.
glenn
glenn – I think it may be Wag The Dog with regards to the US attack. It seems to have been a delicate, facade of an attack. Not one intended to do any real damage, one meant primarily to bolster Trump politically.
AdLib2 hours ago
what’s with the weird numbers and letters in the Vox Sign In Box and in the dialogue boxes?
MurphTheSurf3
My pleasure, glenn!
Fuzzy Dunlop
Hey Murph!
AdLib2 hours ago
FD, he could have done that by targeting the city dump. Not proportional unless equal casualties, IMO
pinkpantheroz
Don’t see what you’re seeing Murph. Where are the numbers and letters? Anyone else seeing that?
AdLib2 hours ago
Hey P. Good point.
Fuzzy Dunlop
? Murph
pinkpantheroz
This is Trump’s version of “LOOK OUT! SQUIRELL!!”
Beatlex
PPO–well trump probably got tired of hearing about how much of the taxpayers’ money was being wasted on his golf trips and his children’s trips, so what better distraction than some nice, beautiful bombs going up in smoke? Shows the strength of the US, dontcha know?
glenn
Oops typo,lol
Beatlex
Ad – in the Vox Box there is a “a” next to the “Join the Chatroom” area and then, to the right of that, there is a capital G, J, and D over the usual “7 online” and “Menu”
MurphTheSurf3
Hi Murph!
Beatlex
glenn – Trump didn’t tell anyone about his first two approved bombings and hundreds of innocent civilians were killed…more than Assad killed in this recent “unacceptable” chemical attack. Does it really matter how you kill hundreds of innocent people? It’s okay Trump did it because he used missiles in Yemen and elsewhere?
AdLib2 hours ago
of course, glenn! and it’s better wasting it that spectacular way than using the money to take care of refugees and a;;; that inconvenient , non-voting-stuff
pinkpantheroz
In dialogue box there is a number “2” on the far right. When I hover over a name here, it changes to ‘6 a CHAT”.
MurphTheSurf3
Murph – Will be right back, checking that out!
AdLib2 hours ago
HELLO TO FD, GLENN AND PPO
MurphTheSurf3
Of course the right is blaming Obama, what else is new?
Beatlex
hiya Murph!
pinkpantheroz
Hey Murph!
Fuzzy Dunlop
Ad–I agree. The trump’s poll number will probably go up because he “took action” to “save” all those beautiful babies that he says are terrorists.
glenn
It’s totally their shit show now, B!
Fuzzy Dunlop
Murph – I don’t see it, I think it’s a local issue, maybe your browser’s Java messed up?
AdLib2 hours ago
AD I WILL CLOSE AND REOPEN.
MurphTheSurf3
Fuzzy…correct Sir!
Beatlex
The selective amnesia is exquisite. The GOP wouldn’t allow Obama to strike when the red line was breached, now say he was weak for no doing it!
pinkpantheroz
Hey Murph–how are you?
glenn
Ad–not sure you are asking me those questions, or if they’re just rhetorical…but I agree. Dead is dead, no matter if you got there from bombs or chemical weapons.
glenn
FD – But how is sending 59 missiles too hit harmlessly in the Syrian desert, proportional to the murder of 100 innocent people including children and babies? The MSM disgusts me right now, they have War Boners now.
AdLiban hour ago
It’s politically proportional, not morally.
Fuzzy Dunlop
To quote W.C. Fields “What a fine mess”
Beatlex
PPO–hypocrisy is the word of the week! I hate these sanctimonious pricks who think that there is no memory in our computers, much less in our minds.
glenn
glenn – That’s what I saw as well, the missiles seemed to only come down outside of the airfield aside from a few that hit hardened hangers. Looks very suspiciously undamaging.
AdLiban hour ago
It’s less than an outright act of war, if Assad chooses to look at it that way. I’m sure Putin would help him see it that way.
Fuzzy Dunlop
Adlib,I am seeing the same as Murph on my browser,it is not affecting anything though
Beatlex
Putin doesn’t want war with the US. He wants the US to fight HIS wars.
Fuzzy Dunlop
FD–you think Putin will help Assad see it as less than an act of war? Isn’t Putin sending ships our way?
glenn
Trump should declare any syrian or Russian aircraft going anywhere near rebel areas will be shot down. Then something might ease up
pinkpantheroz
Beatlex – It was Oliver Hardy who often said that:
FD, It’s all a fucking game to these power-crazed nutjobs. We’re all disposable pawns
pinkpantheroz
We would decimate Putin’s navy, if it came to that!
Fuzzy Dunlop
FD–so you think Putin wants to see Assad out of power? And wants the us and our allies to do it?
glenn
That’s about it, P!
Fuzzy Dunlop
Beatlex – WC Fields often said, “Never give a sucker an even break.” That’s Trump’s motto now.
AdLiban hour ago
No. Putin wants america to think Trump is no longer his puppet. He’ll use Assad to make it look that way.
Fuzzy Dunlop
Is is time to dust off my copy of “American Idiot” by Green Day.We have another one in the white house
Beatlex
Wondwr when we’ll see Trump in a leather jacket on the deck f a carrier with “Mission Accomplished” banner?
pinkpantheroz
Think Machieavelli!
Fuzzy Dunlop
Ad-LOL!
Beatlex
Beatlex–boy, howdy, do we have an idiot in the WH. He keeps proving it every day.
glenn
FD–okay, that makes sense, in a twisted way.
glenn
It’s a twisted world, glenn!
Fuzzy Dunlop
Time for Trump to do this?
AdLiban hour ago
PPO–as soon as he can find an “extra small” codpiece!
glenn
I am having a Budweiser with 2 stuffed olives! Shaken, not stirred.Don’t knock it till’ you try it!
Beatlex
Beatlex – The number in the upper right corner indicates how many new comments just posted. It then fades away. The number in the upper right is how many people are on Vox.
AdLiban hour ago
Is one olive blonde,Bea?
pinkpantheroz
You crazy Canadians!
Fuzzy Dunlop
Hey Murph! The letters gone? There should be numbers though, check my last comment.
AdLiban hour ago
Fuzzy….AAAY!
Beatlex
I wish Oz
Beatlex
Beatlex and PPO–oh, you nasty boys!
glenn
Beat, you need the olives to put some sort of taste into Bud.
pinkpantheroz
Beatlex – Isn’t Canada upset that a crazy neighbor moved in?
AdLiban hour ago
And how about McConnell and Repubs destroying the Senate and respect for SCOTUS at the same time Trump is destroying the Presidency?
AdLiban hour ago
Ad, Australia is upset at our new pacific rim neighbor, and we’rw 9,000 miles away!
pinkpantheroz
Adlib, you would be surprised,a lot don’t see past the bombast and seem to think he will turn economies around
Beatlex
PPO – Well, we now have a parliament like Australia, no power for the minority party anymore in our government.
AdLiban hour ago
Ad–it’s all part of the republican plan to blow up our government so they can fashion it in their own way.
glenn
Ad Lib- No change. I checked three other like sites and nothing out of the ordinary. So, who knows.
MurphTheSurf3
brb
pinkpantheroz
Ad–the next step is a constitutional convention. The Kochs are working on it as we type.
glenn
Beatlex – The employment numbers came in today…like 89k new jobs, half of what was expected. Unemployment is going to go up in the US before long and our economy will slow down with the tax cutting and cutting on spending. Then Trump will just call it fake news.
AdLiban hour ago
Ad–call it fake news, and blame it on Obama.
glenn
Ad-Yes,reality will set in sooner or later
Beatlex
Murph – The numbers should be at the top of the window on the right and left. Left number is how many new comments just posted, right number is how many people are on Vox.
AdLiban hour ago
My tired reality is setting in, gentlemen, so I’m going to call it a night. NIce chatting with all of you. Have a great weekend!
glenn
Bye glenn
Beatlex
Tourism is already down. lots of hospitality jobs on the line. Who needs the hassle at the airports to have a vacation? Aussie tourism up big time.
pinkpantheroz
Cheers, glenn
pinkpantheroz
glenn – I have heard that but it’s a lot harder to change The Constitution than those egotists realize…especially after 2018 and 2020 when Dems take back a lot of state and national seats.
AdLiban hour ago
brb again!
pinkpantheroz
Night glenn, have a nice weekend!
AdLiban hour ago
We should have dropped Gorsuch on Syria instead!
AdLiban hour ago
What is with Jarrod Kushner? What hold does he have on Trump? I don’t get it
Beatlex
PPO – Tourism is just the start of US problems. Trump and Repubs want to push this border tax which will scare off investment and scare markets with fears of inflation.
AdLiban hour ago
Beatlex – Trump is in way over his head and oonly trusts people he knows well so Jared is his operateive to do so much. It is funny to see Bannon starting to be ashcanned!
AdLiban hour ago
And what will happen when the debt ceiling comes due? And if Dems refuse to approve a budget with Trump’s wall funding?
AdLiban hour ago
Back! Had to top up my Bud N’ olives!
Beatlex
Sounds tasty!
AdLiban hour ago
This is going to be the longest 4 years we’ve ever lived…I guess there’s something to be said for that. But thinking back just months to the Obama days…it seems like years ago!
AdLiban hour ago
I am kind of counting on Trump not lasting 4 years.World peace may depend on it.WWIII is possible,IMO
Beatlex
It wouldn’t be much better with Pence in the WH though. We do need to retake Congress in 2018 to head off Trump!
AdLiban hour ago
Ad,yes,Pence is an arch conservative, but more sane
Beatlex
Pence is a devious liar too.
AdLiban hour ago
Lesser of 2 evils Ad
Beatlex
Ad, at the top of the chat window I can see a large “G”, a number “4” in a white circled on the left side. On the right side I see a capital “E V J D” and a lowercase “s”Well, this was frustrating. Likely a problem that will only go away after I do a shut down-start up procedure….but not tonight….sorry.
MurphTheSurf3
I suppose but it’s like Satan and Sauron.
AdLiban hour ago
Sorry, folks, short and sweet visit this week. Fell back time! See you all next time.
pinkpantheroz
Nite OZ Man!
Beatlex
Or day OZ,LOL
Beatlex
Murph, will check it out but you can disregard it, won’t affect anything.
AdLiban hour ago
‘Night, Olive Man. Don’t forget the Birdie Num-Nums
pinkpantheroz
Seeya PPO!
AdLiban hour ago
LOL Oz,one of my favorite Seller’s movies
Beatlex
The Party.
AdLiban hour ago
Ad….what’s your thoughts on Syria….
MurphTheSurf3
For me….it has the feel of an insiders game….with lots of motives by players far more subtle than the Donald.
MurphTheSurf3
I think Trump did this only out of political motivation, he doesn’t care about Syrians. He cleared the attack with Putin in an indirect way, sure not to do damage that would upset Russia and doesn’t care what the blowback is…because he doesn’t think that far and has no advisors to tell him.
AdLiban hour ago
Trump has no plan,he is winging it,look at Tillerson, hewon’t even talk to the press. What the hell is going on?
Beatlex
Definitely Murph, Trump looked like a puppet, mouthing that speech off of teleprompters. This was a political action, propaganda that worked in multiple ways because of the moronic MSM we have.
AdLiban hour ago
North Korea is an actual threat to the world, he can’t play this kind of crap with them. Syria is no threat to us, directly and now we’re bombing both sides of a war. So no matter who wins, we will be hated and the enemy.
AdLiban hour ago
Agree with you both…all the reporting is that there is no “what now” plan. I believe this is just what Trump loves….a dramatic move…and with Putin’s tacit approval.
MurphTheSurf3
Well I am toddling off to bed.
MurphTheSurf3
Bingo! It’s a stunt, a PR stunt for and all about Trump. The good thing is that with the madness of the Trump WH, this will soon be forgotten anyway.
AdLiban hour ago
Night Murph!
AdLiban hour ago
They have been talking about “decapitating” Korea’s dear leader.I don’t know how it could be done, but would not shed a tear.
Beatlex
Nite Murph!
Beatlex
The real concern is if Trump’s takeaway is that whenever he’s in political trouble, he needs to attack a country. If he did that with NK, we are in for a disaster.
AdLiban hour ago
Doing it for a bump in the polls Ad,it will be fleeting though
Beatlex
Yes, it will soon be forgotten after the insane Trump admin does or says the next crazy thing.
AdLiban hour ago
Or when the next leak about Trump conspiring with Russia comes out. Then Trump will be in bed with the ally of our “new” enemy, Assad.
AdLib44 minutes ago
Even Congress is out of control Ad.Don’t like the rules? Just change them! It does not bode well for the US at all to go that way
Beatlex
Exactly! That’s why I say that reality is broken.
AdLib43 minutes ago
Hey Funk!
AdLib43 minutes ago
Howdy
funksands
Funk!
Beatlex
Hey X, long time no time!
funksands
So how did you like Trump’s production…er…air strike?
AdLib42 minutes ago
I’m guessing that he’s airstrikes in place of viagra
funksands
Putin is happy about all of this, it helps Trump who’s under his thumb.
AdLib42 minutes ago
What is it about the US and civil war? We just can’t leave it alone. It’s like meth to us
funksands
The US likes uncivil wars too!
AdLib41 minutes ago
It was really helpful having Hillary come out and say that yep, that’s the thing to do!
funksands
Funk – Do you think the missile attack by Trump was genuine?
AdLib40 minutes ago
While Congress just sits there and harrumphs
funksands
No
funksands
Hillary should stay in the woods glenn!
Beatlex
oops Funk!?
Beatlex
It was for a genuine purpose. I don’t think they do it for the hell of it, I think they saw an opportunity to launch some missiles with little if no global condemnation
funksands
Congress is now officially broken. That allows a president to scoop up greater amoounts of power.
AdLib38 minutes ago
Ad,spoken like a true Canuck! LOL
Beatlex
/Users/Laptop/.Trash/Bolivia Trolls US War machine.jpg
Funk – It sure feels purely political. The missiles were aimed around the perimeter of the airfield, didn’t destroy runways or most planes…a little Wag The Dog I think.
AdLib37 minutes ago
A lot of script there funk
Beatlex
funksands
You don’t say!
AdLib36 minutes ago
That’s what I was looking for. Bolivia trolled the US so hard today in the UN
funksands
Funk – Yep, that’s about the size of it. Another big con.
AdLib36 minutes ago
You’d think people were dubious of our motives? Why?
funksands
Bolivia should not wave empty sleeves funk!
Beatlex
That is pretty strong but bold!
AdLib35 minutes ago
And now Trump is running to hide in the closet, latest news is that they’ve told the press that this is it, they’re done with Syria now. WTH?
AdLib34 minutes ago
Sure is. We ceded the high ground internationally in 2002 but still act like we have it, which makes us look petty and weak
funksands
yep, all done. lol those chuckleheads never cease to amaze
funksands
“We successfully destroyed the bushes around a minor air field in Syria! What more needs to be done?”
AdLib33 minutes ago
lol
funksands
The lavish praise heaped on T***p by the cable news “serious people” was revolting
funksands
At least Bush just went to his ranch to cut up brush!
AdLib32 minutes ago
Really Ad
Beatlex
X, can Canada come and do an intervention? We need help
funksands
How about the disgusting Brian Williams calling the missile attack “beautiful”? He should be at the target next time and tell us how beautiful it looks from there.
AdLib31 minutes ago
funk: If good manners can be harnessed…maybe
Beatlex
Almost as exciting as a lost airliner!
funksands
Funk – We need the next election to be an intervention.
AdLib30 minutes ago
X, you gotta do something. Put in a word at parliament would you?
funksands
Funk – Right up there with The War on Christmas.
AdLib29 minutes ago
I will to our “Boy” Prime Minister
Beatlex
We’ll see. It’s a long ways off, and I’m afraid that the American public’s memory is so short.
funksands
He’s so dreamy. Maybe he can make inroads with Ivanka and she can subvert the administration from within
funksands
Funk – It won’t be because of Syria but after a year of Trump, I’m sure the motivation will be inescapable.
AdLib28 minutes ago
She was making goo goo eyes at him when He met with her Father/Husband! funk
Beatlex
It’s a super-bad year in 2018 for the Senate. We’ll be pinning our hopes of Senate control on winning Nevada (doable) and Texas (ugh). We might have a chance at the house I suppose.
funksands
I understand people being desperate for there to be someone to rein in Trump but Ivanka is his daughter and serves him, she’s never helped anyone but herself.
AdLib26 minutes ago
True. No one reigns him in. The two trying to steer him right now, Bannon and Priebus are probably on their way out
funksands
But…but! she SEEMS sincere Ad
Beatlex
At least she smells like vanilla and ambition
funksands
It will be tough for the Senate but it could be a landslide election against Trump by then. The House is very possible too.
AdLib25 minutes ago
This is why there was not one person that has ever worked with the guy in the past that came forward publicly during the campaign and said what a pleasure it was working with him. He eventually cuts the throat of everyone that works with him
funksands
Nice, Funk and Beatlex!
AdLib24 minutes ago
Funk – Yes, we need to have faith in cause and effect. Trump always turns those who support him into adversaries. Many RW Repubs are furious at him for bombing Syria, they’re America Firsters.
AdLib22 minutes ago
(-
Beatlex
Meanwhile while the crazy train runs, the GOP statehouses keep passing bills….
funksands
busy busy busy
funksands
And when his budget is fought over? Trump’s stabbing of his voters in the back will only continue. They may not turn on him but the enthusiasm level will suffer.
AdLib21 minutes ago
Sounds like war is the answer to flagging enthusiasm!
funksands
He needs to license that.. TrumpWar™
funksands
Ironically,it has been a century that saw the war that first used chemical weapons…Never to be used again! We have not changed as a specie, sadly
Beatlex
Funk – I know but depressed Repub turnout and enthusiastic Dems will change state seats too. Lots of damage that needs to be reversed. Over 30 Govs up for election in 2018, most Repub Govs too!
AdLib19 minutes ago
Nope, it’s why many scientists (including Hawking) say that we’ll kill ourselves before achieving installer travel ability
funksands
Beatlex – Trump may bomb Austria next!
AdLib18 minutes ago
That’ll show those kangaroos
funksands
The home of his idol Hitler Ad!
Beatlex
That’ll prove he isn’t a fascist
funksands
How do you say, “I have returned!” in German?
AdLib18 minutes ago
Just like bombing Syria proves he isn’t in bed with Russia
funksands
Ich bin zurück gekehrt
funksands
bless you
funksands
Exactly Funk! Well, he wouldn’t shake hands with Merkel, doesn’t that say he’s not a Nazi?
AdLib16 minutes ago

I watched a documentary about the Trump’s history in America. His Grandfather ran brothels in Whitehorse in the Yukon during the gold rush. When that went sour,he tried to go back to Germany, but they refused to let him stay as he had not filed the proper papers when he left! So he went back to New York.Sheesh!

Beatlex – Didn’t know all of that, thanks! Did know he wasn’t allowed back in Germany. The Butterfly Effect…if only he was allowed back in, no Trump in the WH.

Supposedly, the idea to doo this attack came oonly because Trump saw the Syrian victims on tv. Until he saw them on tv, they didn’t exist. And how does this square with his Syrian refugee ban? We can lob $90 million in missiles on their behalf but they are all potential terrorists and enemies?
As a great way to share this experience, PlanetPOV is hosting a live chat (live typed comments) tonight to discuss the night's results as they come in along with everything else this election will bring and what folks think it will mean for the future.
