Harleigh – I don’t know, I don’t think Hillary is the only choice. First, she has a lot of issues that limit her. Secondly, whoever the GOP picks will stampede people to the Dems. Third, a non-Bush/non-Clinton Dem could be very attractive whether Bernie, Biden or even O’Malley.

Murph – I know, it’s the reason many Dems don’t trust her and aren’t passionate about her, she seems very rehearsed and artificial even when she is saying things most Dems agree with. What rescued her in 2008 for a while is when she broke down in NH after losing to Obama and people saw a real person (though I had my suspicions about how genuine that breakdown was).

Sabreen – I have seen the same behavior from Hillary supporters, some of whom even say they will not vote for Sanders if he wins, they may even vote for the Repub. This is sadly, as you point out, something that arises now in the Dem party as with the PUMAs in 2008 (and in this Hillary campaign as well). There are Hillary haters who support Bernie too. But neither candidate has attacked the other and their supporters need to follow their examples.

I do see the tribalism within the Dem Party being a big issue, especially if Hillary starts losing her lead nationally. Hillary supporters already accuse Bernie supporters as being the only ones hating on their candidate and vice versa. If Hillary loses her lead, it could get as ugly as 2008.

I’m not one of those who is very upset about this but I did find this on the CBS Sports website: “On or shortly before March 6, the day that Tom Brady met with independent investigator Ted Wells and his colleagues, Brady directed his cell phone he had used for the prior four months be destroyed. He did so even though he was aware that the investigators had requested access to text messages and other electronic information that had been stored on that phone,” Goodell writes in his ruling. During the four months that the cell phone was in use, Brady had exchanged nearly 10,000 text messages, none of which can now be retrieved from that devices. The destruction of the cell phone was not disclosed until June 18, almost four months after the investigators had first sought electronic information from Brady.”
