It is 50 years since the Civil rights Movement began to grow tall. But, 50 years later, despite Federal Laws, states are still denying voting rights to American Citizens and are even using underhand means to keep the minorities 'in their place'.
Your ignorance, prejudice, bigotry, and racism was the catalyst that drove me and sustained me. It propelled me to move forward and not stand still and accept your narrow-mindedness nor did it dissuade or discourage me from reaching for my dreams and making them come true.
Trump speaks to, and uses for his own purposes, the darkness that can overtake us when we are confronted with the stress and fears of rapid change. One manifestation of that darkness is racism.
