If 6 million Americans are thrown off of health insurance and the ACA is crippled, the ripple effect will come crashing down on everyone who has health insurance. And the hand that will be holding the lit match while our health insurance system goes up in flames...will be the Republican Party.

If the Justice Department and the F.B.I. escape their duty and allow the President to exist completely above the law, and with unlimited power, then they are no longer law enforcers; and since they act directly on the President's authority, they are reduced to a criminal syndicate.

What you see in these RW Republican politicians on most issues is pretty consistent support for allowing the deaths of others to poverty, guns, wars, old age, etc.. Their "pro-life" position on abortion is an anomaly...and that's because to them, this issue isn't really about religious beliefs or compassion, It's about something else far more crass and cynical. It's about power.

In a nation that lectures other nations around the world about human rights violations, it is almost laughable that MY basic rights and dignity should even be a subject for debate!

The shootings at the Oak Creek Gurdwara are reminiscent of the story of Bhagat Singh Thind who caused the United States Supreme Court to define "white" in the same way that inspired the murderous Wade Page.

They combine all of their supermarket shopping needs for the week into one large list so they can save time and money to put towards taking away the 99%'s time and money.

Here we go again with the hyperbole from both sides.  A left wing ideologue that is gonna kill babies and take away our guns but a Cheney loving neocon at the same time.  The part that always amazes...

Because in the Heller decision the majority extended a right to keep and bear arms to individuals outside of the context of a well-regulated militia, Americans are killing themselves and others with guns at a rate of nearly 40,000 annually, yet lawmakers cannot or will not regulate gun ownership and possession because Heller says they can’t.

With this decision, Roberts is not just nullifying the rule of law, by creating a broad and variable class of people who are not subject to it. He is altering the Constitution itself, by creating a new concept in the Law, that if a person is a member of a group that might conceivably be of interest to national security (every country in the world), then law does not apply.
