If 2016 was personified as a human being, it would be more often referred to as an unbelievable asshole who would not be welcome back even if it came to our door with a giant box of chocolates in one hand and an eternal youth potion in the other.

This could be the night Marco Rubio is knocked out of the GOP Primary, Kasich may win his first (and possibly only) primary and Donald Trump could become the only Republican with a mathematically viable path towards winning the GOP nom. If elected President, Hillary is saying that she may sign bills that harm Americans in order to prevent what she'd suggest are greater harms that could come if she didn't do so. That's troubling.

It is difficult to speak with Mr. Trump, with him ensconced in his VR world of adoration, and he frequently believes he is on a stage giving a speech so is prone to calling for his virtual supporters to beat up anyone trying to interview him.

The Iowa Caucuses close their doors at 5:00pm PST tonight to start their caucusing process. We shall see if they also close the doors on some of the candidates' campaigns when they announce their results.

Hillary Clinton has been justifiably frustrated by polling that shows young women preferring to support Bernie Sanders instead of her. What is questionable though is whether playing the gender card to turn that dynamic around to her favor, is helpful or will backfire.

Elizabeth Warren is everything Hillary needed to be but couldn't be to win this election. She is authentic, inspirational, a woman of the people, sympathetic, has an enthusiastic following in the Dem base and is a powerful and energizing speaker. She is a fighter for the regular American worker who feels left behind or neglected by their government/society, the very voters Trump used to win election because they felt they had nowhere else to go.
