glenn – Not so much non-grid but solar and wind energy is very big out here. I have solar on my house. What I would like to see though is de-centralization of energy, so people can generate their own energy via their home and a battery system. The savings compared to the vast amount of energy lost due to transmission over the grid would be so much more efficient. As it is, we’re still connected to the grid and the energy we produce goes to the DWP which credits us back for it and banks unused energy. They do have battery systems but they’re still a bit expensive and still wouldn’t change being on the grid, would just provide a backup if power went out. AdLib an hour ago

They were poor quality, and his payback to his funders, Motorola, was massively responsible for the loss of life on 9/11./ They could not and did not learn of the second strike while they were IN the buildings. I don’t think Trump ever resigns, he doesn’t recognize reality as Nixon did. Even now, with the walls closing in around him, he thinks impeachment will end up heling him get re-elected (at least part of him does). I can imagine Trump pushing it to the end, refusing to go until the US Marshalls come to drag him out then he will sneak away and claim he quit because it’s all a sham and Deep State and anyway, it’s a win for him. Ad–my gut on impeachment is the same as it was last week. He will be definitely be impeached in the House, but I don’t think we are going to get 20 repubs to convict in the Senate. Murph – Nixon was given an ultimatum by Repub Senators that he would be impeached and removed so he knew it was over. Trump is delusional so even if he was told that, he’d refuse to accept it. Ad…impeachment is a sure thing (the only question is how many articles) but conviction? It all depends on how certain endangered GOP Senators become…..which may rest on how they vote in the trial.
