The way I understand what’s being communicated in the filings is that Trump has been caught red-handed committing Federal crimes under Campaign Finance, emoluments, bribery and treason

And maybe even perjury!

And this is not even the big dump to bury Trump! It’s just a teaser!

Trump said that all this cleared him. Yep, he got away Scott Free. Or clean as a whistle…a Trump whistle.

I think Mueller needs to wait for Dems to take over The House before he delivers the report…but before Barr gets in to block it.

Remember in the press conference, Trump claimed it was better for him that Dems won the House? Wow, it must be scary to be in his crusty head.

I mean, Manafort can be prosecuted for crimes by NY state! How could he be so stupid? Trump can’t pardon him from state crimes and the NY AG will get a big prison term against him using his perjury as evidence.

PPO – The chips and dip were already out and the bar was open so why not?

This is only the start of the party! When Mueller drops the report which has to be loaded with evidence proving Trump as a traitor and conspiring with Russia, aside from all his other crimes, the guillotine will be rolled out.

Trump got off Scott Free…and Scott, his cellmate, appreciated it.

So what will Trump do after he’s nailed by a mountain of evidence? Fire Mueller anyway? Start a war? I’ve said in the past that it was impractical to expect the 25th Ammendment could be used…but once he’s cornered like that, even his cabinet may be ready to get rid of him.

PPO – I mentioned above the crimes I see so far, Campaign Finance, emoluments, bribery and treason.

It’s hard for the public to truly accept that we have a crazy man in the WH. A truly crazy man.

And now they’re predicting, after the stock market keeps crashing, that we will be in the Trump Recession in 2020. Wonder if Repubs in Congress will go down with the Trumptanic or wil they abandon him?

PPO – It started before that, Palin was just as crazy and racist. Both Bushes ran as bigots, against blacks and gays. Reagan ran on welfare cheats (blacks) and Nixon with the racist Southern Strategy. This was the destination they were headed to a long time ago.

Oh yeah, I forgot about McConnell going to prison for his Russian ties as well! He would have so much fun in prison! They’d make him join in the turtle races.

FD – Do you think so? I don’t think his legal team is confident at all, I’ll bet Trump has been lying to them and hiding the truth so much, they have no idea how badly Trump is in trouble.

PPO – The odds of President Pelosi just went way down today. Much more likely than it was!

And how do Repubs think they can win in 2020 with a plainly guilty and probably impeached (but maybe not removed) criminal in the WH while the country is battered by Climate Change disasters, polluted air and water and a crashing economy?

I really do believe that Trump’s real lawyers (not including Giuliani) have been BSed by Trump and have little idea of all the evidence Mueller has to bury Trump with.

Hillary deserves to have a good laugh but she may have to wait until 2020 to throw the going awway party for Trump. She must get a kick out of Michael “Lock Her Up” Flynn being a convicted criminal.

FD – Do they have famiy units in prison?

Trump is a moronic mobster and ueller is pursuing him like the brilliant Fed he is…as he would a mobster. The trap is all around Trump now, Mueller’s just oiling the hinges before he triggers it to close on Trump.

PPO – Bernie is not a problem for 2020, he brings voters into the Dem Party and he has already said good things about Beto and other Dems, I think he knows his window is gone.

Bernie will run but he will be beat fair and square by a better candidate whose time it will be.

Who do you like to be the Dem nom in 2020?

PPO – I don’t see how. Elizabeth Warren will get many of his voters, some will go for Beto, some to Kamala. Bernie won’t be the only alternative as he was in 2016, he will be one of many Progressives and will have some support but he won’t be the nominee. And neither will Biden.

And I have to say, Dems nominating another 70 year old white man would be just plain crazy.

Beto has been meeting with Obama and his people, Obama’s been saying good things about him. He’s definitely a front runner.

FD – And you don’t want to be investigated for that Fuzzy Tower Russia deal.

Who else would be a top contender for the Dem nom in 2020?

There are a lot of good Dems who will be running but few who will really inspire a following.

FD – It would be Mueller so don’t get too excited.

PPO – No he’s not, he’s an angry Dem, Trump told me so.

For 2 years I’ve been imagining the 2020 Dem nom debating Trump and nailing him for all the evil he’s done. But that debate would have to last two weeks at this point.

Do you think House Dems will impeach Trump? Even though they know Repubs in the Senate will never remove him?

FD – I think it’s more possible that Trump will stay in the WH until 2020 and run for re-election. He’s so deep in denial, Repubs are afraid and I doubt they woud vote to remove him in an impeachment.

PPO – In a debate, the Dem would just need to say, “I’m the only one who will stand up against Russia, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the tyrants in the world to stand for America! I’m the only one on this stage who hasn’t committed treason and obstruction of justice. I’m the only one who opposes Nazis. Vote for the one who isn’t a proven liar and criminal!”

FD – I know Pelosi doesn’t want to impeach Trump but she’s not going to have a choice if Mueller proves he’s in bed with Putin and a criminal.

PPO – Heh! Trump may be surprisingly okay having charges showered on him.

FD – I think Mueller has Trump dead to rights and is just tying up the loose ends. Trump’s committed financial crimes that are easily provable as Manafort’s were, on top of everything else. It will be too much for Pelosi not to impeach but I have no faith in Repubs standing up to remove him. They’ll go down with the bloated orange ship.

PPO – Nope, the “Fake News” BS doesn’t work on anyone but Trump cultists. Trump can only become more extremist to keep his drones. Look how his “invasion caravan” BS failed with voters. They see him as a liar.

I do want The House to impeach Trump because remember, it will be a trial in the Senate and everyone will be watching and see the mountain of evidence against Trump. Even though he probably won’t be removed, he will be so damaged when the truth is laid out against him, he will lose worse than any candidate in memory.

It’s so funny that everyone who leaves the Trump WH, including Steve Bannon, can’t help but attack Trump after they’re out.

Hey…I wonder if Don Jr. gets indicted, will he flip on Dad? The whole family has no morals or loyalty, that would be so satisfying to see!

Missouri AG’s staff under investigation over Hawley Senate campaign:

An investigation is now launched into senate-elect Josh Hawley. Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft’s deputy general counsel confirmed the investigation in a Thursday letter. The investigation is in response to a complaint filed by a liberal organization. The American Democracy Legal Fund says it was a misuse of taxpayer-funded resources for out-of-state political consultants to direct attorney general staff to do work that would help Hawley’s campaign.

And we have a criminal election fraud by Repubs in NC.

“Republican” and “criminal” are becoming synonyms.

He’s awful.

So Mueller and SDNY have come out publicly to say Trump is a criminal, indirectly but clearly. They wouldn’t do that without a ton of evidence and testimony to back that up.

Murph – Word is that enrollment in fed-run states is down 10% already. In state run markets, it’s up!

So CL, looks like we’ll have an impeachment on the menu for next year.

CL – Glad you’re back and feeling better.

CL – We have to bear up for 2 more years of Trump neglecting and chopping away at the ACA but at least it will still be in place to be repaired in 2021 by whoever defeats Trump.

CL – I don’t think even Trump believes what he tweeted, it was the desperate-to-appear-innocent ploy of a rat that knows it’s cornered. Trump will be on a witter rampage tomorrow as he dwells on having his kids indicted and his business pulled apart.

Let alone impeachment!

Murph – So how will this make things better for Repubs? They’re leaving their core voters without insurance, to get sick and even die.

CL – Yes, the Dems will hold Trump’s feet to the fire in The House, I’m not so confident about Schumer who’s already offered funding for the wall. He betrays Dems all the time.

CL – I was saying earlier, The House will have no choice but to impeach if Mueller has as strong a case as he seems to. They will be neglecting their constitutional duties to leave a Russian puppet and criminal in the WH. As long as the evidence is damning, as it seems like it will be, Trump will only have his 35% cult members afterwards and we’ll be far more motivated to get rid of him than they will be to keep him there. And with impeachment, comes a televised hearing in the Senate where all his crimes will be laid out. He’s not Bill Clinton, it won’t help him at the polls.

Murph – Nothing will change that BS, they ignore that McCasskill was in the minority and that Repubs have had all the control. They are beyond trying to convince. As the election proved, Dems need to focus on women, young voters, minorities and those who want change. These other types are beyond saving from their own prejudices and ignorance.

CL – Schumer let Repubs railroad through so many judges just so they could hurry up and end session to campaign. I see no strategy, no cleverness and so much compromise on Dem values from Schumer. He’s the one who should have been pushed out of power by more Progressive Dems, not Pelosi.

Murph – Agreed, Dems are doing the right thing now, saying that they need to wait for Mueller to finish and then make their decision about impeachment based on the report and the facts. But from what we see so far, the report and facts will be overwhelming and then they’ll need to proceed with impeachment. There shouldn’t be a rush or as you say, gloating. Just dutiful work as the Constitution requires.

CL – My thinking is that impeachment will tie up Trump in 2019 from doing much else and if he doesn’t get removed, 2020 will follow and he’ll be tied up with campaigning as a badly wounded candidate. That will keep him from doing greater damage before he’s thrown out of office by America.

Murph – Absolutely! And I think that Dems have solid constitutional grounds to have courts reverse these GOP power grabs, much of it is taking executive power for the legislative branch, unconstitutional.

CL – So true! Murph and I discussed the very flawed thinking of McCasskill to chase after white Trump voters instead of max out minority and POC voters.

Murph – Add to the loss of health coverage, people losing their farms because of Trump’s tariffs! Or at least going deeply in debt. They’re going to blame Dems in public but privately, I don’t see how they will be so motivated to vote for Trump and more misery.

CL – The minority can’t stop the judges but they were slowing them to a crawl but Schumer gave that up just to get out to campaign and a big batch of judges suddenly went through. He is awful.

CL – I don’t doubt growing mental illness in Trump, it’s scary but the 25th Ammendment will never be used. I think the best we can do is keep him occupied with impeachment, let the truth come out about what a traitor and criminal he is then let him get obsessed with the 2020 campaign, keeping him distracted from greater damage to our country and defeated in 2020.

CL – I agree though Dems should just take these bogus laws to a court immediately and get orders putting them aside until full decisions are made.

Murph – Even Trump appointed judges decide against him! Sometimes, the office can make a difference.

Murph – 2016 taught me not to underestimmate that approximate 35% of ignorant, fearful, hateful people out there. I know they’re there and in some states like MO, they will continue to have power but not nationally. And over time, we’ll turn more red states purple as it looks like we’re doing in AZ for example.

CL – I’ve always thought about that, if I would stand up to fascists if they took over here in the US. I don’t think those who ask themselves that are the ones who wouldn’t pass that test.

CL – Hey, don’t forget Trumpka bought into Trump during the election too! I was pissed off at him!

CL – I think a court would have to side with Dems because the alternative is to embrace fascism and a government that is anti-democratic. Then we don’t need judges so they’ll be out of a job!

Murph – I don’t know though, Repubs are such cowards and while they may like Pence, the base doesn’t see Pence as a good trade for Trump. They won’t support removal under impeachment so I think Repub Senators won’t. And they’ll all go down in 2020 together.

CL – Overall, I agree with you about the “majesty of law” sensibility in judges. Roberts is now being attacked by Trump as an enemy, the threat he poses is now personal and can impact the SCOTUS. That’s enough to get Roberts to stand against him.

Hey, Mueller may charge Pence with crimes, he may indeed be out before Trump. Pence is slimy and a liar, he’s in trouble right now and he knows it.

CL – I understand about getting older and dealing with health issues, not being able to be the fighter we were in our 20s. But we still stand and fight as we do and we just have to make it until 2020. I’m confident that Trump is going down.

Murph – “Fight off the Libs”? You mean literally?

Murph – Agreed, these Trump voters will be just as glued to the impeachment hearings as Dems, to root for Trump. What they won’t be prepared for is how guilty he is.

I’m not saying Pence wouldn’t be supported by Trump voters if Trump resigned or was removed, just that they would never give up on Trump to have Pence.

Murph – They will end up skeletons hiding behind their doors with guns frozen in their hands if they think “libruls” are coming for them and their guns.Just the opposite, we’re moving on since they are not worth pursuing anymore. They will have to come to us wanting their lives to be better, we’re not coming to attack them. They’re just projecting, thinking Dems are as hateful and fearful as they are and would do what they would do with power.

Murph – I understand that but as I say, it’s projection of their fears and hatreds. They will be left behind the doors of their reposessed farms if they just want t sit there with guns in hand waiting for the Dem Apocalypse.

CL – Yep, it’s why evil people like Trump feel justified doing evil things because they think everyone else would do it to him if they could. People project their emotional flaws on others, thinking everyone is like that. Nope, we’re not sociopaths just because Trump is.

CL – Exactly, people like that are afraid of having their “enemies” get even with them in the same way they or their ancestors went after them.

Murph – That’s denial setting in. They know deep inside that they’re wrong and supporting Trump was wrong but admitting it or facing up to it is too much for them to deal with. So they clam up. Despite their protests and blaming of Dems, they know but can’t accet it.

CL – Even the most modest living people can have decency and many do. Those who don’t and violate their alleged religious beliefs to hate and fear innocent people, are not the most worthy people for sympathy.
