After watching three days of inspired and rousing speeches at the Democratic National Convention, many are now fired up and ready to go in pursuit of re-electing President Obama. So this weekend’s music thread is about the music that fires you up, songs you play that drive you when you’ve got a job to do, songs that energize you and light your fuse.

Wow that intro is bizarre, What happened to the recording? Is that how it is supposed to sound?
Yep, that’s how it was recorded, it was a psychedelic opening to the main theme of the song. Most people have only heard the main theme and never the intro.
Crank this up before canvasing
IGGY POP - REAL WILD CHILD (Wild One)
The Romantics -- What I Like About You (original version)
