I’m all for getting annoyed about things I believe are wrong and do admire your letter writing, but believe that staying annoyed is only harming ourselves both mentally and physically. If I thought that all the screaming and shouting around us would do any good, I would say go for it, however remember who you are dealing with, this won’t change the basic feelings or conscience of any of them. They are biding their time like rabid dogs, ears and tails low until they feel it’s safe to start all over again. The public might have had second thoughts about the bitterness of the past two years or more, but the politicians saw how well it worked for them in the midterms, do you think that they will change lanes now that they have control of the House, I don’t.
So as much as I cheer you on, watch your BP, none of them are worth a trip to the hospital, none of them are worth the dog poop that we occasionally might step in, they are the dog poop that we might occasionally step in. Take off your shoe and scape them off. The more loudly we protest, the more they will enjoy making us mad, you can’t reason with people who have no idea of wrong and right, these people who have no conscience stay that way.

This is a close to any debate she has ever had, remember what she said at the VP debate about not answering questions.

Bito, when you think about her VP debate, this is far more of a debate than that. She just parroted the same speeches and accusations in her debate with Biden, I do think this is far more effective and enlightening than that.
A side note, some comments this video got on another site were complaints that it diminishes Obama and his speech by cutting in Palin, that we should only be revering Obama’s speech and just ignoring Palin.
I don’t subscribe to the strategy of closing one’s eyes to reality when it’s displeasing.
The bottom line is that Palin could indeed still win the GOP primary in 2012 and run against Obama for the presidency. Ignoring her won’t make this possibility go away, it would only keep one from being prepared for it should it happen.
On one hand, I understand and relate to those who feel we should just stop caring about what Palin says and does, it only empowers her further. On the other hand, if all Dems ignored her, she would still have the MSM, Tea Partiers and many in the GOP still promoting her towards the Presidency.
I would rather face an adversary head on and be sure of their defeat than turn my back on them because I “knew” they’d never be able to attack or defeat me.
AdLib, I used to be in the “ignore” camp too, until, like you, I realized it was extremely dangerous to do so. The ignoring should have come immediately after she and McCain lost. after that it was too late.
For a while, I saw the same media exposure on Christine O’Donnell–AFTER she lost. Effington was putting out stories about her antics every day, and I thought, “Here we go again.” But for now, it seems to have, thankfully, abated.
Yep, I think the MSM was way to happy to elevate her when she became McCain’s VP and seeing how polarizing she became, they wouldn’t let her go even after the election.
You’re so right, she should have been shut down and tossed aside after the election…if our mMSM wasn’t so corrupt and greedy. We have to face it, the MSM makes decisions for their bottom line that harms our democracy and nation. It is pretty troubling.
On the flip side, look at what all the publicity did to Angle, Miller and O’Donnell, by giving attention to them and seeing what nutjobs they are, we and the majority of Americans were able to defeat them even with such a powerfully Republican tide.
Anyone who denies Palin was a force in the Nov elections and thinks she can be ignored without consequence will be completely unprepared to defeat her in the future.
AdLib, yes, we have to remember that the Republican primaries are set up as winner take all. She may not get a large percentage of the vote but she can get the most.
