Escribacat, exactly my thoughts. Either she is hiding her true conservatism or she is just completely amoral and opportunistic.
And thanks for your reply on my earlier post, I’m going to check out the HuffPost section on here. It sure will add to completing the puzzle in my mind.

Moreover thankfully bito created the new recovery space for ex-Huffers. Not that I suffer withdrawal, I’m forcing myself to Huff only to bring some valued friends over here. But I do appreciate being able to sort out with others what was really going on there. Not that I was blind to it when I was there, yet the impact of it goes deeper than anticipated.

jdmn17, I just love your posts.

I too think she was deliberately planning on the rightwing takeover, because the site moved ever so slightly to the right just after Obama was in office and the clicks on her site went significantly down. The moment he was in office, she started the Obama bashing and started to rile us up, first against the teabaggers and later against each other. I assume it gave her just more clicks. I admit I fell way too many times in that trap. And when finally even Palin ceased to bring the outrage and clicks, she must have made her mind up to sell the enterprise.
All the while this was happening, there was her concerted effort to delete posts that would address this or anything critical of her, for that matter.

I didn’t really notice that she dropped the flag count. It somehow escaped my attention, although I realized it at one point. But now that you bring it up it makes perfect sense why she did that.

In fact, I am ABSOLUTELY in awe about your post, choicelady. Please reformat it and publish it as an article here, if you haven’t done that yet. This is something I truly want to reread and refer to.

I always felt very much that Obama is silently laying out the groundwork in the background, but you sacrificed yourself to read all that crap and have all those facts ready.

That’s especially interesting as something like two or three days earlier there was for a full day a large Obama article, accusing him that he would scrap heating for the poorer people.

Yes, we pick them up one by one. I try to avoid the heavily moderated threads, but that’s still difficult! We need to remove the http thing too in order not to get pending. If the mods don’t check the link as long as possible we can use it that much longer.

Hi intotheabyss, and if you want to bring more friends from Huff here, be careful. They have deleted some posts and even accounts with the direct link, since Whorianna put this site on her long enemy number one list. (out of a personal frustration, I forgot what it was. I guess she was called out for being the hypocrite she is).

Breaking up with HP is only hard to do if you have to leave the community. That’s why I never left there besides my huge disgust of Arianna after reading up on her on gawker.com. Now since so many came here I don’t miss HPost even a bit. Instead I’m forcing myself to go back there to lure more folks here…
