Well, for the life of me I just have no idea where to post this and I guess not everyone can post a main page post(?)

Anyways, maybe someone can find a spot for it or give it the justice due to it. If someone wants to:

I offer this article I found a few minutes ago. Chase Britton, Boy Born Without A Cerebellum. Baffles Doctors.

Friday Music Thread–Moving to The Planet Soon, Gonna Buy…

Well, folks. I wasn’t sure what category to choose in either the science section or the arts section. But seeing as how it has some fine peaceful music I figured this is as good a place as any.]

Here is, courtesy of one of my favorite sites, The Daily Grail, a 360°
virtual tour of the Sistine Chapel. Just use your cursor or keypad to take the tour:

Thanks again to The Daily Grail at http://www.dailygrail.com

* Well, I tried. Just don’t mknow what I’m doing wrong. Maybe time to hit the hay. Anyways, folks. just minus the “v” and C&P the link, I guess.

Good night, all.

By George I think you’ve got it!

The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.

Ha! Haven’t seen that flick in years.

Hey, thanks to all for the advice. Especially Kalima for fixin’ my muckin’ around.

I’ll get the hang of it.

Besides, it’s Friday and the weekend!

» Posted By RasputinsLiver On February 11, 2011 @ 4:59 pm

Ah, thanks, Kalima.

To make sure I know what’s going on the idea is to merely C&P the link into the posting box with only with a “v” after the “p”. No brackets, no “img” or stuff like dat dere?

I make a mean banana bread, I’ll bring that.

Oh, and if it’s 4:20, well, I’ll bring along some of that as well.

Bingo!

Many guises for tyranny to wear in this world.

And the neo-cons set us up with the greatest Ponzo Scheme in modern times here in the United States of the Multi-National Robber Barons. That being Trickle-Down/Voodoo Economics which have nearly bankrupted us.

Then add on all that bullshit “patriotism” jive. Throw in “a new Pearl Harbor” (PNAC, Project for the New American Century: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century )and a swarth Middle Eastern bad guy boogyman, an’ voila! the perfect recipe for what we have now which benefits only those at the very top world-wide.

» Posted By RasputinsLiver On February 11, 2011 @ 10:39 am

Mmm…I’m of the same mind.

I’ve wondered for some time whether the folks, the real power brokers, the multi-nation corporate folks, made sure that McCain was their nom and pushed him to make the unknown friebrand Palin his VP choice (guaranteed losers in the POTUS/VP race) just so the American people would choose a Democrat this time so they could quickly turn around a spin hell out of it all, as they haev via their corporate fascist media viz a viz the MSM, which, to my mind, does include all on Hate Radio and TV, i.e., Limbaugh and all at FOX, as well as the morning TV news programs, etc.

I haven’t watched C-SPAN in quite some time as I ended my TV’s connections with the outside world about two years ago. In fact, I’d made it a goal that after Obama won I’d shut down the idiot box. So I wonder how much further to the right they’ve gone of late. Know anything on that? Like Washington Journal?

But back to your point. I’ve thought the same thing. And that office is a tough gig in the first place at any given time, I’m sure. Then chuck in the disastrous economy, two wars that affect the economy, the housing thing…and, well, I’ve long thought that this mess we’re in now, not just here, but all across the globe, is a calculated creation.

Have you ever read Azimov’s Foundation series? Here’s an excerpt from Foundation Series Wikipedia. If you’re not familiar with the series this might be of some interest:

“The premise of the series is that mathematician Hari Seldon spent his life developing a branch of mathematics known as psychohistory, a concept of mathematical sociology (analogous to mathematical physics). Using the law of mass action, it can predict the future, but only on a large scale; it is error-prone on a small scale. It works on the principle that the behaviour of a mass of people is predictable if the quantity of this mass is very large (equal to the population of the galaxy, which has a population of quadrillions of humans, inhabiting millions of star systems). The larger the number, the more predictable is the future.”

Man, it is so frustrating to see how far down the rat hole we’ve gone over the last thirty some years via the neo-con multi-national corporate fascist robber barons.

I really thought we had a chance in chuckin’ that crap aside when President Obama strode into the White House.

Alas, there’s only so much power even that office has when up against the world-wide business conglomerates who really hold power and sway over nations.

» Posted By RasputinsLiver On February 11, 2011 @ 10:12 am

Yeah, that’s the foot in the fire risk.

And, unfortunately, this nation has a long, bad history of supporting, all too often, the wrong side.

One thing for the folks there in Egypt to rally as they have, especially the younger folks. But being able to put in place in the top wechelons of their government to be able to make real their desires is a whole other ballgame.

Gonna be interesting to see how this plays out. It ain’t over yet.

“That site”? As a newbie here I’m not up on the inside verbiage of the veterans. Could you aquaint me with which one you’re referring to?

Thanks.

* Ah! KarPalinPost. Nevermind.

A thumb up, actually, in my cranial goo two thumbs up, to both you and bzb for your posts. Too bad we here in the States refuse to abide by the Geneva Conventions and not hold our own accountable.

We, as a nation, sure can talk a lot of talk, but we seem to fail abysmally in walkin’ it.

“I’m thinking that the age of dictators may be drawing to a close.”

I think you’re on to something there. Seems like a wave across the globe.

Wow!

The People of Egypt won! Amazing!

Kudos to the Egyptian citzenry!

Democracy Is Not Broken

If there is a god, ….

….then Carlin is its official in-house Jester.

Miss both he and Bill Hicks. But, at least we have Lewis Black an’ Dave Chappelle.

It’s the old line of we either cry or laugh. And fankly, I’d much rather laugh.

Corporington Post

I never got a time out there, but many a post were, as they say down in South America, “disappeared”.

Ah, perhaps a home for some genuine free speech and quick posting so as to facilitate gettin’ up some interaction.

» Posted By RasputinsLiver On February 8, 2011 @ 12:01 pm

Hmm….

…well, seems a few folks here that made the exodus from KarPalinPos, aka the Huffington Post, official site of the Kardashians and the Palins.

Bonjour, mon peeps!

Morning Blog

I didn’t ask to change anything.

I thought I was pretty clear when I said I was looking, as all do, for a variety of places for free speech and that this the little spot I found was merely a side stop in between the main ones such as this one.

There is total free speech here. I just….oh…never mind.

Thanks for all the fish, folks. My apologies for offending.

» Posted By RasputinsLiver On February 25, 2011 @ 3:41 pm

Oh, you bet.

I’m hoping, as others I’ve seen commenting on this story on the original site linked, that this will go viral to the point where the supposedly “left-wing” media, the corporate media (which leans right), will be forced to have to air it.

This is an utter abomination and, to my mind, a genuine threat to our President.

» Posted By RasputinsLiver On February 25, 2011 @ 8:36 am

Absolutely outrageous.

And it should be dealt with in a very high profile legal manner. At least, I would hope there’d be laws that can apply and the DOJ has the courage to take this one.

I’m way past being tired of the fringe-wingers and their blowhard Hate Radio & TV personalities getting away with this type of heinous threats to our President.

» Posted By RasputinsLiver On February 25, 2011 @ 8:34 am

If it were someone other than a white right-winger I’d say yes.

But we know that that person will only be referred to by the corporate media, the “lamestream” media, the supposedly left-wing media, as merely a frustrated “patriot” just expressing his frustration with the gubmint.

If it were a non-white then they’d use the word terrorist.
