Now that the main problems with the Obamacare website have been mitigated, the Republicans find themselves as mourners at a funeral where there is no body to bury.

Some might consider these folks “Subway Club Christians” since they apparently believe that if they get their conversions card stamped ten times, they get a free Resurrection.

We have to reject the unjustified use of fear and imaginary threats to the American public as acceptable reasons to bomb other nations. Facts, reason and principle should be the only tools to win over the public on an argument for war.

What we’ve witnessed since President Obama’s election has been an unending parade of thinly veiled and outright racism spewed by mainstream media channels and pundits, Republican politicians and the GOP army trolls at most blog sites. The march of racism hasn’t ended so the march against it can’t either.

The enemy is small but incredibly powerful, they mount assaults all across the globe on people everywhere but are like terror cells, operating independently but driven by the same philosophies and practicing the same ruthlessness. The enemy is both foreign and domestic and has more destructive power than any army.

Republicans claim they only have a problem with the way they communicate their message. Perhaps this more severe, lost Ryan Budget could be presented in a more appetizing way, perhaps as the wrapper on a Big Mac, so it would get the respect and lengthy consideration it deserves.

The thing is why, as a member nation of the United Nations, would anyone in this country think it ok to withhold certain human rights from certain people? And why would Republicans in Congress hold up re-authorization of a bill for almost two years for the reasons stated above?

CT shooting

When the NRA and their political puppets in the GOP and on Fox News say, “This is not the time to talk about gun control,” this time, the response needs to be, “This is exactly the time and we’re not only going to talk about, we’re going to do something about it!”
