Hey Ad! What a week hey?
Beatlex

Whoever had this week in the “World War III” pool may have missed out by just a week!

See you then!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Hi glenn!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Hi Ad, how’s it going?
glenn

Well…no nukes fired today, that’s a good day.
AdLib 2 hours ago
How are things your way?
AdLib 2 hours ago
Ain’t that the truth?
glenn

Things here are fine; same old, same old.
glenn

And, that’s a good thing!
glenn

Soccer games this weekend?
AdLib 2 hours ago
Just one, tomorrow afternoon. An away game. How about you? Any games for you?
glenn

Daughter is just getting better from a bone bruise, have had weekends off for a while. Two weeks away from her being back at it so I suppose we can just enjoy the free weekends!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Ouch! Glad to hear she’s healing. Doing anything special for Easter?
glenn

Just a quiet weekend…egg hunt of course! You?
AdLib 2 hours ago
What do you think is going to happen with North Korea?
AdLib 2 hours ago
Not even an egg hunt; granddaughter is too old and too “cool” for that! I keep telling her she needs to quit growing; she just gives me the “teenager” look. I love watching her grow and mature; but damn, I miss those early years!
glenn

I think mine is about the same age, she’s “too cool” for many things now but she’s a kid at heart on holidays. And she loves candy!
AdLib 2 hours ago
You know, I can’t even begin to predict. Maybe trump will come out with a statement like he did with NATO. Even though nothing changed in NATO, trump’s perspective changed, so now everything is okay with NATO. Or, Ivanka could tell him how NK is calling his bluff, so he’ll have to do something to show his “manliness” and “presidentness”. Or, he could have some more chocolate cake, and decide that bombs and chocolate go well together. Who the hell knows? Do you have any predictions?
glenn

Oh yeah, my granddaughter loves candy, too! Takes after her grandmother that way! LOL!
glenn

It is bittersweet to see them get older and while becoming their own person, they abandon some of the “kid” things that you’ve enjoyed with them every year.
AdLib 2 hours ago
That’s the truth, Ad. We didn’t do “Nutcracker” this year because of my oldest granddaughter’s wedding in December, so I’m hoping we’ll get to do it this year. Don’t know though, she may be over that too.
glenn

I really don’t know. Trump got such plaudits from the MSM for ordering bombings, I could imagine him wanting to do it again against NK. On the other hand, he seems scared and backing down too what the military tells him they want to do. And I don’t think they want a war between the Koreas.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Yup, that’s exactly how I see it, too. I can’t believe our dumb media! Bombing another country made trump “presidential.” What a crock of shit.
glenn

Hope the Nutcracker is on again this Xmas, kind of sad to have to drop traditions.
AdLib 2 hours ago
I know. The older two girls will be here for Christmas this year; hopefully they’ll want to go. Or, maybe I can talk her into another show that we can all go to together.
glenn

I am particularly angry at Brian “Liar” Williams and his praising bombing as “beautiful”. Fareed Zakaria’s fawning over Trump as “Presidential” for dropping bombs was also disgusting.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Teens still aren’t paying the bills soo IMO, you can still pull rank to enjoy holiday traditions.
AdLib 2 hours ago
I know, where did that come from? How can anyone call bombs “beautiful”? Unbelievable!
glenn

It’s violent destruction anyway you look at it, and there’s usually innocent people who are killed by bombing. And that’s beautiful? Maybe to someone who fantasized that he was in a “beautifully” shot down helicopter?
AdLib 2 hours ago
MOAFUps!
pinkpantheroz

Agreed. But who wants to pay all that money for tickets to have a surly teen sit next to you? You have to pick your battles. Not that she’s ever been surly with me; but, then again, as my daughter keeps telling me, I don’t make her do anything she doesn’t want to. That is the grandmother’s privilege, you know. She does have to show manners, and respect, but my daughter tells me we get along so well because I don’t make her do anything she doesn’t want to do. LOL!
glenn

Hey PPO! Well, in his “defense”, trump has been the MOAFups since he began running for president!
glenn

Hey PPO!
AdLib 2 hours ago
How are you, PPO? How’s your Fergie?
glenn

Hi guys n gals. Fergie’s fine, DG. sleeping in late today. On skype to her nephew in UK overnight
pinkpantheroz

PPO–nice to hear she’s doing well. So, Ad asked me what I predicted trump will do about North Korea. So, before Ad asks you, I’m going to ask you the same question. What predictions do you have?
glenn

It’s tough when they become surly teens, indeed. But I do pull rank here and there and she knows that if she doesn’t show consideration, she’ll lose out on something later.
AdLib 2 hours ago
I worry that the fat insane guy with the nukes doesn’t decide to a pre emptive strike. Don’t know what Kim will do either. But it is quite worrisome.
pinkpantheroz

Glad Fergie’s well, hope she can join us in the futrue here! She’s missed!
AdLib 2 hours ago
sorry mixed my grammar! I HOPE….
pinkpantheroz

Has anyone dragged up United yet? snigger
pinkpantheroz

PPO – I see what you did there!
AdLib 2 hours ago
thanks, Ad. I’ll try and nudge her back!
pinkpantheroz

Ad–yeah, I do pull rank now and then, too. I’m not quite the pushover my daughter thinks I am!
glenn

Not yet but seeing United show it’s disrespect for its customers so blatantly…and initially having the CEO applaud his employees for having a paying customer beaten, just lays out the true corporate mentality out there. And hoping United stock coontinues to tumble.
AdLib 2 hours ago
You know, Ad and PPO, this is exactly what trump said he would do. Remember, he said he wouldn’t let anyone know what his plans are; that he wanted to be unpredictable. So….I hope all of his base is happy!
glenn

glenn – I don’t doubt it. My theory is that it may be better to insist on traditions with surly teens because it may help them really understand what traditions mean.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Hey Harleigh!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Fergie is conflicted, Ad. As an ex-25 year vet of UAL (back in the good ol’ days), she’s mad that the bean counters turned UA into a shitehole. As one who got shafted by them, she’s delighterd they’re bing mocked and shamed.. She used to run the Sydney, aust. Ticket Office for them after setting up their office here in australia
pinkpantheroz

In February, I flew Delta to visit a friend in AZ. On the way back to Atlanta, it was an overbooked flight, and their first offer was $200. No one took them up on it; so I think they upped it to $500, and finally got some takers. It was funny listening to them, though. I also saw an article that says Delta has “authorized” some higher ups to offer up to $1,000 or so if they can’t get any takers for changing flights.
glenn

glenn – I don’t know that it’s intentional. The truth is that Trump has no plans for addressing any big problems internationally, he just knee-jerk bombs. That’s not a plan, it’s being emotional and impulsive, not good traits for a president. So he pretends he’s keeping plans a secret.
AdLib 2 hours ago
UAL is being sneaky with their offers, glenn. They only offer ‘United Dollars” for future flights. The law says they must pay real dollars cash
pinkpantheroz

Ad, he keeps them secret because he himself hasn’t figured anything out. Numbnuts
pinkpantheroz

Hey folks! I’m wore plum out practicing my duck and cover! I almost could not get up out from under my desk again! Not like Im 10 years old anymore.
Harleigh

Right, Ad. Nothing trump does is intentional. On one hand, it’s fascinating watching him twist himself into a pretzel when he changes positions, sometimes in the course of a conversation. On the other hand, it’s absolutely horrifying to watch him do it, and even more horrifying to watch his supporters, and his spokespersons defend him!
glenn

hey harleigh!
pinkpantheroz

PPO – This is a really different corporate entity than the United Fergie worked for. I’m sure she’d agree. Airlines have become so greedy and disrespectful of their customers because the Feds let them nearly eliminate competition. I read an opinion piece saying that the US rules should be changed that limit to 25% foreign ownership of airlines that operate in the US and let Richard Bramson and others drive United and others off the throne.
AdLib 2 hours ago
glenn what worries me is that the US is going to hell in a handbasket as everyone is distracted by the clown show
pinkpantheroz

PPO–oh Delta wasn’t offering cash! They were offering future flights, and vouchers for hotels and meals. I don’t think any of them actually offer cash. The only time Delta has offered cash, as far as I know, is when they had that big computer glitch last year. And, it wasn’t exactly cash, it was $200 off my next Delta flight.
glenn

PPO – But if passengers agree to the United Dollars, is United off the hook? I know it’s supposed to be cash per the law, the good thing now is that many more people know this now.
AdLib an hour ago
True, Ad. She was right there when it started when UAL bought the PAN Am Pacific division in the early ’80s
pinkpantheroz

PPO – Yeah, I thought he had a secret plan to get rid of ISIS in a month or two. Still waiting to hear aboout the success of that.
AdLib an hour ago
PPO–my worries, too. Trump is sneaking in all of these exec orders and his cabinet members are changing rules and laws right and left, and all our damned media can do is talk about how damn presidential he is when bombing another country. Or his tweets!
glenn

ad, and glenn, as far as I can tell, you can insist on cash and they must comply, or else they are practicing monopolistic activity ( which it almost is, anyway)
pinkpantheroz

Harleigh – In case you’re still a little rusty on Duck and Cover:

Trumps foreign policy has the real danger of going sideways in a hurry. With Korea as the most dangerous situation.
Beatlex

Hey Harleigh–yeah, isn’t it amazing how much smaller those damn desks have gotten?
glenn

glenn – The upside to Trump not knoowing what to do is that he can never give himself a safe harbor with the public. Like his threatening to end subsidies to 3 million Americans if Dems don’t agree to vote for repeal of the ACA. How stupid is that anyway? Dems would agree to taking away insurance from 24 million to not see 3 million lose it? Huh???
AdLib an hour ago
Hey Beatlex–if only we knew what trump’s foreign policy in regards to North Korea, actually IS! Then we can determine if it’s going sideways, or upside down, or backwards, or whatever!
glenn

Ad,Trump has no core beliefs,he does not give a rats ass about most Americans
Beatlex

PPO – Much of the damage Trump is doing can be reversed just the same way, in EOs and department policy changes so it may be bad in the meantime but after 2020, we can fix it with a Dem in the WH. But nuclear war? Russia controlling our country? That ain’t easy to fix.
AdLib an hour ago
Ad–it’s the art of the deal, dontcha know? Baffle them with bullshit; change your position at least three times; deny you said what you said, and by the time you get to the actual “deal”, you can claim that you “won”, since no one knew what your position was in the first place.
glenn

glenn – I’ve only heard vouchers offered along the way but now that I know it must be cash, they won’t get away with that on my flights!
AdLib an hour ago
Hey Murph!
AdLib an hour ago
Hey Murph!

beat, Trump doesn’t give a rat’s ass about anything unless it makes money for Trump. His Raytheon Stock has jumped !
pinkpantheroz

glenn, the perfect description! Bravo!
pinkpantheroz

We have to pin our hopes that the FBI finds criminal behaviour in the Trump Campaign and jails some of those bastards! And drive Donald from power
Beatlex

PPO–if the airlines are supposed to give you cash, does that mean they give it to you then and there? Or, will the check be in the mail?
glenn

PPO – Wow, she helped build UA in her own way. Must be hard to see it turned into such a horrible corporate beast.
AdLib an hour ago
not sure, g. Have to look it up

Hi Gang! Late again…Indivisible Meetings….Rally Tomorrow in St. Louis….Trump Taxes the focus.
MurphTheSurf3

Hey M!
Beatlex

Beatlex–and hope that they find it fast. My only hope for them taking so long is that they’re trying to build an “airtight” case, so trump and his pals can’t wiggle out of it.
glenn

‘Oonagh from United’ is a Legend in the industry here. Thoroughly well deserved.
pinkpantheroz

PPO–sorry? What is “oonagh from United?
glenn

The CEO OZ?
Beatlex

So what are all those Trump voters saying now that “Gyna is killing us! On day one I will have them called a currency manipulator!” to “China’s just fine as they are and I’ll give them more if they can stop North Korea!” So much for the Dem candidate to run against Trump in 2020.
AdLib an hour ago
glenn – “Trump” and “policy” don’t belong in the same sentence.
AdLib an hour ago
One of the members of our Indivisible Leadership Team is an attorney with considerable expertise in the matter of doing business with foreign governments….he says that he does not see a smoking gun in Trump’s hands at this point….but that there are smoking guns aplenty in the hands and holsters of a number of Trump confidantes and agents. He will be tainted.
MurphTheSurf3

Glenn I could not squeeze my 69 YO ass under on of those old desks! LOL
Harleigh

glenn – Yes, Trump is all about the “Bullshit Baffle”.
AdLib an hour ago
Ad–hopefully, the Dem candidate has all of trump’s tweets that show his absolutely blatant hypocrisy and can use them mercilessly. However, the next Dem candidate damn well better have polices out front every single time they make a speech. Use trump’s tweets in ads; when speaking in public, speak ONLY about DEM policies.
glenn

glenn, sorry, Fergie’s handle. She set up the UAL Sydney office, then ran their ticket office back when it was FUN to travel!
pinkpantheroz

Murph–doesn’t matter that trump will be tainted; his supporters and sycophants will blame it all on the “snowflakes”.
glenn

when I was a kid we had to dress up to travel on a plane or train! The planes flapped their wings!
Harleigh

PPO- I was bumped last month. Got to the gate in plenty of time and was told that my seat had been given away and that I was on standby. I guessed that the seat was given to someone who had been bumped earlier in the day or was one of their own. They ended up paying me a grand and I demanded a check, no voucher, as I would not be flying them for some time to come.
MurphTheSurf3

Murph – That is actually the best scenario, Trump’s campaign is forever tainted as his aides are convicted as traitors and he limps into 2020 with record negatives. If Trump was impeached, Pence would try to present that there’s been a housecleaning. A trashed Trump is who Dems should want to run against in 2018 and 2020.
AdLib an hour ago
PPO–thanks for the link. Good to know.
glenn

glenn, ‘Snowflake” has an entirely different connotation in Australia. Its a name for guys who steal womens underwear from clotheslines!
pinkpantheroz

…. but then again!
pinkpantheroz

Murph–good for you. So you were bumped because someone else was bumped? It’s like the domino effect. Good for you for making them pay you right on the spot.
glenn

Murph and Ad–and trump will be smeared in that shit for history, too!
glenn

Back to our Indivisible Trump Tax protest….we are going to try to weave the Trump pattern of deception to avoid transparency throughout our march with signs pointing to his history before the Presidency right up to the White House decision NOT to release the WH visitor logs to the public. The Obama admin did it monthly on line (with some redaction reviewed by the DOJ and a committee of House and Senate reps from both parties).
MurphTheSurf3

glenn – IMO, the best negative strategy against Trump (the Dems should have positive campaigns though for the most part) is to destroy enthusiasm for him with his base. Run ads showing him promising to kick China’s ass, stop Muslims from entering the US, repealing Obamacare, etc., then contrast with his 180s on everything. An enthusiastic Dem base vs. a discouraged Repub base is what will lead to a landslide victory.
AdLib an hour ago
I think our military is a total waste. Not much left to defend from all the straw enemies.
Harleigh

Glenn….either that or one of their own people had to be sent to another site for a crew staffing. Domino effect….there is no wiggle room on flights anymore.
MurphTheSurf3

PPO–that’s funny about “snowflakes”. First of all, do you still have clotheslines in Australia? Haven’t seen one in years here, and that includes rural areas. Secondly, really? Stealing women’s underwear? SMH!

pinkpantheroz

glenn – I don’t know, Trump’s core voted for him after becoming disillousioned with Repubs promising to do things and not doing them. Trump is betraying them left and right and after the Syria bombing, which America Firsters see as betrayal, some are already pealing off of him. Just the beginning!
AdLib an hour ago
Murph – Yep, I prefer a mortally wounded Trump representing the GOP than an energized Pence.
AdLib an hour ago
Cheers Beatlex!
AdLib an hour ago
Indiana hated Pence and was glad to see him go.
Harleigh

Ad–I’m not sure it’s possible to destroy enthusiasm for trump with his base. Dems have to work on turning independents and “sane” republicans. It seems there are many of them out there, lately.
glenn

Harleigh….there are enemies out there and the threat is real but the Armed Services are a rather blunt tool. A bludgeon that often makes things messier in the SPLAT that represents their action time and again. This president has turned the Dept of State into a hollow body.

AdLib an hour ago
Murph – So do Trump supporters out your way understand that if he gets his way, they won’t have health care?
AdLib an hour ago
Ad–you’re always much more optimistic than I am about repub voters. Don’t forget I have to listen to ads on the radio daily about how Jon Ossoff is going to go to Congress and align himself with “Pelosi’s and the Democratic agenda” and how “liberals” have just destroyed this country. Both of those quotes are said with a sneer in the voice of the announcer. And, how Ossoff is going to vote for all of those “job-killing regulations”, and higher taxes. You know, all of the hot buttons for repubs. I just want to smash the radio every time I hear one.
glenn

Harleigh – A Dem president in 2021 will sure have a lot to reverse but all oof what Trump’s done soo far can be reversed.
AdLib an hour ago
I’ve been in HC Ina for years and the repubes forgot their base! LOL 70% of snap and ACA goes to rural white people! They are gonna starve, get sick and die. That’s a plus!??
Harleigh

Murph–not so much health care in my neck of the woods. We have Jon Ossoff running for Price’s seat, and the ads against him are focusing on what I just wrote to Ad. Health care is hardly even mentioned here in GA, because it’s a done deal that we don’t have any!
glenn

AD you’re correct and it’s because they have not passed all his shit legislatively. They will start soon enough.
Harleigh

glenn – Maybe so but just going on historical and psychological cues. The party in power is usually lacking in turnout and enthusiasm in midterms and has a tougher job in rallying voters than opposition. Dems being the opposition party and having so much activism every week and even in these recent elections seems to bode very well. And after 2 and 4 years of Trump betraying all his promises, his supporters won’t be as riled up for 4 more years of disappointment.
AdLib an hour ago
Murph–yup, that caricature was much too flattering. Funny, though!
glenn

KEEP YER GUBMINT HANS OFF MY SS AND MEDICARE!
Harleigh

Harleigh – But Repubs have little time left to pass big things that they’re being dogged for in townhalls and calls, emails and letters to their offices. And when they see how well Dems are doing in special elections, they will be scared for their seats to follow Trump. Dems need to win back the House or Senate in 2018. Won’t be easy but Americans really want divided government and 2 years of Trump’s dictatorship will be enough for most, I think.
AdLib an hour ago
Ad–there have been positive signs lately. Was it Kansas where, even though he lost, the Dem candidate surprised everyone with his margin? Plus, Ossoff is doing well, according to the polls, but then again, so was Hillary. So, I guess I’m cautiously optimistic, but just barely!
glenn

Hopefully
Harleigh

Harleigh – Did you hear that Trump is looking at cutting out the SS and Medicare taxes from payrolls? To fool Americans into thinking they’re making more money yet they’d be losing retirement and healthcare foor a pittance in the short term.
AdLib an hour ago
Had not heard that but anything that harms murikkka is ok with him.
Harleigh

Yes glenn, in a district that Pompeo won by 27% or more, the Dem lost by less than 7% this week. The pro-Dem momentum is clear. Just imagine what the results will be like in purple states and districts!
AdLib an hour ago
Ad–speaking of radio ads, the Democrats are finally running one–the election is next Tuesday, and early voting has already started–with Samuel L. Jackson as the narrator telling voters that “we must stop trump”. It’s a good ad.
glenn

Ad–can trump cut out those taxes using an exec order, or does he have to go through Congress?
glenn

Harleigh –

http://www.latimes.com/business/hiltzik/la-fi-hiltzik-social-security-tax-20170410-story.html

Trump’s proposal to eliminate the Social Security payroll tax may be his worst idea yet
Trump’s proposal to eliminate the payroll tax is a back-door attack on Social Security.

AdLib an hour ago
Very cool glenn! We have to pull oout all the stops to win back The House and I’ll take Sam Jackson rallying the troops anytime!
AdLib an hour ago
It is so very disheartening to see so many- for want of a better word- brainwashed idiots who blindly believe this conmans every word and can’t see the Redwoods for the effing trees! And that’s the RWNJ media I’m talking about. Then the poor gullible suckers who watch Punch and Judy while their pockets are being picked. Sad.
pinkpantheroz

glenn – No, Trump can’t end SS and Medicare taxes on his oown, Congress would have to do it and that would be political suicide. Dems should and would simplify it to, “They’re ending Social Security and Medicare!”
AdLib an hour ago
Ad–yup–SL Jackson is a great motivator! Plus I love his voice!
glenn

Ad–good to hear that trump has to go through Congress, so it will get out to the media. I’m pleased to see that some Dems, at least, are getting out in front of microphones almost as much as trump spokespersons!
glenn

PPO–you’re right; it disheartening as hell. What’s really frustrating is they admit that they don’t want facts or positions; they just want to make sure that no liberals are involved in government!

Harleigh

PPO – The good news is that it’s only a minority of Americans who are Trump Stupid. 2016 was a perfect storm for Trump. Hillary had negatives as high as Trump’s, record levels, then Russia manipulated and hacked and the FBI interferred. Won’t happen like that again.
AdLib 42 minutes ago
To all: Who would you like to see run for the Dem nom in 2020?
AdLib 40 minutes ago
Harleigh – I’ve replaced my iPhone with a microwave.
AdLib 40 minutes ago
Tough one, Ad. I’d leave another woman out this cycle. Maybe later.

AdLib 36 minutes ago
Harleigh – Good suggestion, I like her!
AdLib 35 minutes ago
Ad–hard to predict a Dem nominee. I’d really like to see a younger progressive; let’s see a “fresh” face.

PPO–I think Rahm E has way too much baggage!

PPO – Yes, Rahm’s going to be run out of Chicago after this term as mayor as untrustworthy and a failure. He’s roundly disliked and a DLC type won’t win the primary I don’t think.

Harleigh–agree with Ad–Gilliabrand is a good one!
glenn

PPO – Just recycling Trump’s tweets about Obama and switching his own name in would repurpose all his tweets from the past 8 years against him!

Ad…and the GOP in my neck of the woods are playing “duck deep and cover wide” at every turn…..my Congressman’s principal fund raiser just quite over this.
MurphTheSurf3

Does everyone think Elizabeth Warren is too old and has too much “baggage”? Baggage as defined by the repubs? And, I know she’s not too old; but I really would like to see a “newer” face. What do you all think?
glenn

What do you think of Adam Schiff oe Ted Lieu? They’re looking pretty sharp!
AdLib 32 minutes ago
Adam’s good for me
pinkpantheroz

Murph – How will that work next year at election time? Can Repubs win even if they’re ducking their voters the whole time?
AdLib 31 minutes ago
Schiff would just slice Trump in half in a debate. An real adult vs. a man-child? Trump loses. But Trump loses against any Dem that can win the Dem primary.
AdLib 29 minutes ago
Ad…when you lose your principal fundraiser because he will not vouch for you…it points to troubling trends.
MurphTheSurf3

I’m impressed with Kirsten’s positions and presentations and accomplishments. Warren has no baggage really. She is great. Running a female ticket with those 2 would not get elected… way to much for the men to accept.
Harleigh

PPO–that foreign policy cartoon is a good one! I hadn’t seen that one before. Have seen where one of your former foreign minister has some not so complimentary things to say about trump, too. In fact, as Ad says, the whole world is looking at trump in disbelief!
glenn

Murph – No meetings with money, no meetings with voters…where do you go from there?
AdLib 28 minutes ago
Ad–like Schiff. He’s pretty sharp!
glenn

Glenn….Warren is a great point person….as a candidate representing policy esp. outside of economics, not so good.
MurphTheSurf3

Harleigh – I’m a big Warren fan but I’m open to alternatives like Kristen, Schiff, etc.
AdLib 27 minutes ago
Harleigh…I like Gillenbrand A LOT…good choice.
MurphTheSurf3

Ad….exactly.
MurphTheSurf3

Anyone have thoughts on Korea?
MurphTheSurf3

Ad–agreed that Schiff would slice trump in half in debates. But so did Hillary, and that’s what keeps worrying me. Everyone of anyone substance agreed that Hillary won the debates on policy and everything else; yet she still lost the election. I realize it was a “perfect storm”, as you say but…..
glenn

Murph–good points!
glenn

Korea… remember USA has not won a war since 1945!
Harleigh

harleigh….. and they needed Britain and Russia to do it.
pinkpantheroz

Murph – I think Warren would sweep the floor with Trump, he has noo advantage on any area over her, he only got elected with his populist con job. He’ll have lost that in full by 2020. Warren has legit populist backing and would only add to it. But there are others too who could be great against a de-fanged Trump.
AdLib 25 minutes ago
Harleigh–Agreed. An all-female ticket is just too much for some men to accept, even here in 2017!
glenn

Glenn – there is an off broadway show going on right now that has a male playing Hillary and a female playing Trump and using the script from the debates for their script. Audiences are asked at the end, who won? It is always the person playing Trump….emotional, hitting people where they feel, connecting….the opposite for Hillary. Your point is well taken.
MurphTheSurf3

Harleigh…and that losing trend started in Korea.
MurphTheSurf3

Ad…I would back Warren but I think there are better choices.
MurphTheSurf3

Murph, that’s when politicians put their big feet in and imposed dumb restrictions on the military. Sound familiar?
pinkpantheroz

Murph – I do think Kimmy is a blowhard and wouldn’t start a war unless he felt it was for survival. But Trump could make him feel that way and if so, who knows? What do you think?
AdLib 22 minutes ago
PPO….not your belief PPO…I hope.
MurphTheSurf3

Murph–I’m confused. Does the female playing trump use Hillary’s script or trump’s?
glenn

Glenn…yep the female uses Trump’s script….the point is that his words hit the emotional core and that is what wins the swing voter.
MurphTheSurf3

Which belief, Murph?
pinkpantheroz

PPO…re. politicians limiting the military.
MurphTheSurf3

Murph–that’s scary!
glenn

glenn – I don’t think any Dem candidate can be compared to Hillary in 2016. She came in with historic negatives, was unfairly hounded for the email server throughout, had Russia hating her and hacking and the FBI apparently disliked her and tried to down her. Noone of that would apply to Schiff or any other Dem who might run in 2020.
AdLib 21 minutes ago
Ad–sure hope you’re correct!
glenn

Ad….Kim cannot be seen to lose face….and Trump would love to rip his face off….a very bad combination…neither is an adult.
MurphTheSurf3

Not the limiting part, murph. Making battleground decisions from a chair in DC, not on the battlefield.
pinkpantheroz

Ad Lib…agree with your Hillary assessment.
MurphTheSurf3

Murph – What other Dems do you like for 2020?
AdLib 20 minutes ago
Alright, gentlemen, I can hardly keep my eyes open any longer. As usual, enjoyed our chat. Hope everyone has a great Easter, no matter how you do or don’t celebrate it. Take care, and hope to “see” you all next week.
glenn

Murph – It does seem though that with Bannoon sidelined, Trump is starting to take what generals say as more legit and I can’t imagine they’re ignorant about Kimmy’s need not to lose face.
AdLib 18 minutes ago
The repukes are saying SK is safe because of missile defense… he could roll a bomb to the border in a truck and ruin SK killing millions. He may do it. very unstable.
Harleigh

PPO…the problem is that battlefield commanders often operate from an equally blinding position as the pol in D.C. Consider the Cuban Missile Crisis where commanders in the Pentagon and in the field wanted to take Cuba/Russia down….Bob McNamara had to stay in active command of the C and C at the Pentagon.
MurphTheSurf3

MurphTheSurf3

Harleigh

Harleigh – No way SK is safe from attacks, it’s propaganda. If NK wanted to attack, they could kill massively…but the same would be launched against them and the U.S. could tip the scales well against them. Then China would be upset…it’s a domino effect, no one wins.
AdLib 16 minutes ago
Ad..Trump has been forced to listen since failing to listens means they resign…..and that is something that would rock his admin very deeply.
MurphTheSurf3

Murph – And it’s demoralized and angered some of Trump’s base that he’s abandoned his America First isolationism in favor of listening to generals. A win-win?
AdLib 14 minutes ago
Ad, It’s all posturing. Kim will rattle his nuclear arsenal until the US bribe them once again with millions of tons of the food they can’t grow or buy because f their nuclear race.
pinkpantheroz

NK has a million man army and brainwashed population in formidable terrain. we’d lose either way. kim would use his nukes.
Harleigh

Well, friends it is 11 and though I was late to the party…..I must depart…..although this is a rather late party for Vox these days. Nice!

MurphTheSurf3

PPO – Agreed, Kimmy like his predecessors is just sabre rattling.
AdLib 13 minutes ago
Night Murph! Get some rest after the protest tomorrow!
AdLib 13 minutes ago

He’s on the way out, Murph. And his influence is already gone.

Harleigh

AdLib 11 minutes ago
Night Harleigh!
