Vox Populi begins early tonight to accompany the Democratic Forum on MSNBC at 5:00pm PDT. Should be a great forum, hope to see you then (or later)!
AdLib 7 days ago
Hey Kes!
AdLib 7 days ago
Hey, AdLib! I’m at the cottage! I was doing a little test to see whether I could get (a) the Maddow show and (b) the Planet here. So far so good!
kesmarn

Great! Glad to hear it!
AdLib 7 days ago
SO — I think the actual start time is 8 pm EST? 5 Pacific?
kesmarn

Yes, that’s it!
AdLib 7 days ago
OK! I might get a few things done here and then “POP” back it at 8! Huzzah!
kesmarn

Sounds good, Kes!
AdLib 7 days ago
back IN, not back “it” — fat fingers tonight…
kesmarn

I got it!
AdLib 7 days ago
kesmarn

Back it!
AdLib 7 days ago
Here we go!
AdLib 7 days ago
Unfortunately MSNBC Live means MSNBC NOT Live unless you have iTunes — which can’t be installed on my Chromebook at this point. Sigh… If anyone knows of a workaround, please let me know!
kesmarn

That is a drag!
AdLib 7 days ago
On the other hand….heh, heh, — I have a friend who is very generous with the old user name and password for Xfinity. Where there’s a will there’s a way…
kesmarn

I’m there!
kesmarn

That’s great to hear. Well done!
AdLib 7 days ago
kesmarn

Even O’Malley could beat the whole GOP field with one hand tied behind his back.
kesmarn

Good earlier than usual evening.
MurphTheSurf3

Hey, Murph!
kesmarn

Hi Monica, Ad, and Kes….I am here although not on the roster….where am I? A ghost!
MurphTheSurf3

Hey, Monica!
kesmarn

Hi Murph, I’m here but so far my comments haven’t been posting
monicaangela

Monica….there you are!
MurphTheSurf3

You’re showing up on my roster!
kesmarn

Hey Kes! I’m a bit late getting to the debate, what have I missed?
monicaangela

Why do Dems lose the argument? It is a good question.
MurphTheSurf3

O’Malley doing a pretty good job of defending his record so far, Monica!
kesmarn

So, is this going to be a one on one with all three candidates?
monicaangela

I believe so!
kesmarn

Monica…it is…an extended interview basically but side by side.
MurphTheSurf3

Great!
monicaangela

An actual grown up, adult format! Wow…
kesmarn

I like this format, the candidates actually get an opportunity to complete a thought and then have the right to revise and extend their remarks.
monicaangela

You can tell O’Malley was a Mayor and a Governor…he pulls real world examples in very easily.
MurphTheSurf3

Difference between a goal and dream is a deadline….GREAT MEME!
MurphTheSurf3

Yes Murph, he has actual political experience. I suppose the reason Carson is having such a bad time lately is because he has no political experience and is as front runner for the republican party doing a book tour and lying about his personal life.
monicaangela

KES AND MONICA….adults, informed adults, speaking in full sentences filled with ideas. How novel. It will never catch on.
MurphTheSurf3

That was pretty good, however that last question could have been skipped…I hope Rachel sticks to issues that make a difference as far as the election is concerned.
monicaangela

Murph, it will catch on, but only for those individuals who actually know what is happening…I’m afraid the majority of republicans will never be able to figure this out. I’m sure they have tuned out already…that is if they ever tuned in in the first place.
monicaangela

He is steely-eyed.
MurphTheSurf3

Steely-eyed?
monicaangela

Sadly Monica far too many dems are there too…look at the Gov. election in Kentucky…..
MurphTheSurf3

Monica….very strong, cool squinting a bit as if to focus, very direct. right at you…steely eyed.
MurphTheSurf3

According to Brad blog, there may have been some shenanigans going on in that election…I believe they may ask for the miserable amount of votes that were cast, might need to be recounted.
monicaangela

Steely eyed!
AdLib 7 days ago
Our enduring symbol is the Statue of Liberty not the barbed wire fence….another great line.
MurphTheSurf3

Hi Ad….
MurphTheSurf3

Okay, then I agree, I enjoy having a conversation with a person that gives you the appearance of that type of attentiveness. It looks to me as though he is commanding attention to the answers he is giving while paying close attention to the questions. Excellent!
monicaangela

Sorry — a few connection issues here.
kesmarn

He is very comfortable on the platform…at ease but still strong. Like that.
MurphTheSurf3

Welcome back Kes! Sorry to hear about your technical problems, hope all is well now.
monicaangela

I agree Murph
monicaangela

I’m at the cottage and things are always glitchy here! But pretty!
kesmarn

I can always overlook the glitchyness of any area if I can enjoy beautiful scenery.
monicaangela

Kes…I live in rural Mo. and here it is always glitchy!
MurphTheSurf3

Great speech, I believe O’Malley needs to use some of this stuff in an ad.
monicaangela

O’Malley coming across very well, no?
kesmarn

O’Malley coming across very well, YES!
monicaangela

O Malley has been my choice for VP for quite a while.
MurphTheSurf3

Bernie up next.
kesmarn

Can’t wait!
monicaangela

Do you think O’Malley wants to be VP Murph?
monicaangela

Monica…he is young enough that this would be a stepping stone to the big chair……
MurphTheSurf3

Hello PPO!
monicaangela

Hi PPO…..can you see any of what is going on at the bottom of the world.
MurphTheSurf3

Yes, I believe you are correct Murph. I really don’t know too much about O’Malley, I’ve heard good and bad things about him. I am going to have to do some investigation into his bonafides
monicaangela

hi guys, Nope, can’t see or hear a friggin’ thing, dammit! Surfing the net for a radio station just now. back soon
pinkpantheroz

Hope you can connect, PPO!
kesmarn

Monica…he has a mixed record but so does anyone…..who actually does something but in balance he is far more positive than negative.
MurphTheSurf3

I think that O’Malley is gunning for Bernie….knock him back and rise….
MurphTheSurf3

I’ve heard that Murph. I listen, to others for only so long, and then I actually have to do my own homework before I am satisfied. I will enjoy taking some time to find out more about him.
monicaangela

Good Luck with that, I don’t believe that will happen.
monicaangela

People in the south — especially — need Bernie’s message. They’ve been hit with the sins of “neoliberalism” more than most areas.
kesmarn

Look! An audience that listens, responds to positive messaging, and then applauds for the guy…..with a good number standing WHEN he really has no base in the state….Does the GOP even know how to do this anymore?
MurphTheSurf3

It’s like the two parties are not even on the same planet any more!
kesmarn

That’s true Kes, too bad it appears there has been a blackout in those markets where Bernie is concerned. I’m sure that when South Carolina and other states that have large minority populations get an opportunity to hear his message and investigate his past he will do very well in our communities. I am doing everything I can to get the word out here, and am networking with friends and family in just about every state in the nation.
monicaangela

So glad to hear that, Monica! Don’t you feel that economic issues and issues of race and almost inextricably bound together?
kesmarn

Rachel is such a fine interviewer and she manages audiences beautifully….
MurphTheSurf3

I do Kes, it can’t be emphasized enough, the main problem in this nation is inequality, economic and any other way you want to think of it, and every one of those ways affect the minority communities.
monicaangela

GO BERNIE!!!
monicaangela

That’s my sense too, Monica!
kesmarn

The points Bernie is making right now are sooooo important. His wisdom, regarding the lies that got us into Iraq, his concept of what is happening right now with the over extension of the U.S. Military etc., is very, very, very important.
monicaangela

“A battle for the soul of Islam” is exactly what this is.
kesmarn

bernie….love his passion, admire his mind, stand in awe of his principles….but his record of accomplishment in the House andthe Senate is thin……and that is what most concerns me BUT NO ONE in this race raises the issues he does and delves into them as deeply. NO ONE….mind like a steel trap!
MurphTheSurf3

Exactly, and we are on the wrong side of the battle IMHO. I believe this fight is going to have to be conducted by better minds in the religion itself. I feel we can have input, but should not be utilizing their battle as some sort of be afraid tactic for the citizens of this nation.
monicaangela

I agree, Monica.
kesmarn

Bernies record has been more of someone who supports issures he cares a lot about. he hasn’t initiated as many bills as Alan Grayson who has been in congress less time, but he has been on the right side of supporting those that have come up with good legislation, and has opposed bad legislation at just about every turn.
monicaangela

Love Bernies sense of humor!
monicaangela

I think part of the reason Bernie hasn’t got a huge record of bills passed is that he has often been far ahead of his peers too.
kesmarn

Monica…I agree with your analysis….as to Grayson…his record of getting things done is also not so strong….love his mind and his courage…but I am supporting Murphy I think for the Senate.
MurphTheSurf3

I agree Kes
monicaangela

Good answer!
kesmarn

every liberal in SC is in that room I bet
MurphTheSurf3

Really showing his sense of humor here.
kesmarn

Bernie did not believe Cheney and Rumsfeld and apparently George HW Bush had his doubts as well.
MurphTheSurf3

George HW Bush would be agreeing with Bernie….
MurphTheSurf3

Carson/Cheney 2016!
AdLib 7 days ago
“Grain in every pyramid and a shotgun blast to every face.” Campaign motto!
kesmarn

I support Grayson and according to a January 2014 Politico report, Grayson introduced 45 bills, the most of any representative in 2013. He is a hard working congressman and if I were a resident of Florida he would get my vote.
monicaangela

Ad- did you see Carson go off on Obama tonight as a defense against the press who he claimed were picking on him when they gave Barack a pass…..pitiful…
MurphTheSurf3

Kes –
AdLib 7 days ago
I love Grayson!
kesmarn

Kes…great phrasing…A campaign symbol with a pyramid and a shotgun
MurphTheSurf3

Murph – Got a business call and missed that. Recording it though and will go back to check it out later.
AdLib 7 days ago
Carson/Cheney for interrogation 2016….Is that what you meant Ad
monicaangela

I can see and hear bernie about guns on msnbc. Is this live?
pinkpantheroz

Ouch! Hard for Bernie to deal with voting against the Brady Bill.
AdLib 7 days ago
PPO – Yes!
AdLib 7 days ago
YAYYY
pinkpantheroz

Ad….when you write a post on that I will put it up at yab…..it needs your and to make it even more ludicrous than it was.
MurphTheSurf3

Yes PPO! I believe your’e in!!!!!
monicaangela

PPO..I think so.
MurphTheSurf3

PPO…you are a WIZ from OZ!
MurphTheSurf3

He’s doing well on presenting his real thoughts on this matter of gun control.
kesmarn

Murph – Am anxious to see that segment.
AdLib 7 days ago
Murph (Blush)’
pinkpantheroz

Bernie is SO funny.
MurphTheSurf3

There is no good answer for that vote on the Brady Bill, just as there is no good answer for Hillary’s vote for the Iraq war.
monicaangela

trains answer kinda moot. where can you hijack a traiin to???
pinkpantheroz

MA – Yep, there is no such thing as a perfect candidate, all have said or done something that we would oppose. The thing is, where are they most of the time on the issues and do they see that they did the wrong thing.
AdLib 7 days ago
Christie could have gotten shot for talking on the quiet train.
AdLib 7 days ago
Bernie is doing a good job. I understand where he is coming from on the gun issue. He represents the people of Vermont, he’s their representative and has tried to vote as they would have him to vote which is what a congressman should do. He has at the same time not voted for over the top legislation and his record with the NRA proves that.
monicaangela

Great Bernie comment on right to vote.
pinkpantheroz

This format is really working for me.
MurphTheSurf3

Yes! The NRA gave Bernie a D-! Hardly a compliment.
kesmarn

I agree Ad, and in the case of Bernie, I believe he does…in the case of Hillary, not so much.
monicaangela

Murph, I agree. Wow, Bernie hit the nail on the head with that one…what is wrong with White people, and why are they voting against their best interest. I continue to ask that question and never get an answer that makes sense.
monicaangela

Good question, Bernie!
kesmarn

Probably two major reasons: religious fanaticism and racism.
kesmarn

Exactly Kes, that is why I know his votes on gun legislation has not been as disastrous as Hillary tries to make it seem.
monicaangela

Hillary’s attack on Bernie’s gun rights position is unfair….it misrepresents him.
MurphTheSurf3

Racism I can understand, but religious fanaticism not so much, I know many white voters that don’t even believe in God, and they continue to vote republican even when they see the terrible legislation the republicans are backing.
monicaangela

Murph – Agreed, as is her dishonest attack on him as sexist.
AdLib 7 days ago
Gun rights, male chauvenism and every other attack she has used against him. I’m so happy Bernie is a gentleman, because if it were me, I would release the TRUE tiraid against her that would leave her worse off than she was when she ran against the present President.
monicaangela

The only other reasons I can think of would be the gun issue (fanatics will vote GOP even if they’re poor). And magical thinking: “If I vote GOP, I will become rich.”
kesmarn

Monica….oddly I think Bernie really has become a Democratic Party loyalist and he has decided not to splinter the party. Good for him.
MurphTheSurf3

I am watching the debate on a lagging feed and I just heard Bernie take on the issue of voting as a fundamental right.
MurphTheSurf3

Yes, those issues make sense Kes as far as some that I have talked to. The gun issue is really something that hooks them everytime…those I know that use that as a reason are hopelessly convinced that with a gun they will be able to put down an advance perpetrated by the Defense department of the U.S. I believe that magical thinking about getting rich has worn off. Have you seen the statistics on longevity for white men between the ages of 35 and 50…death due to suicide, drugs, and alcoholism. The dream has turned to a nightmare I’m afraid.
monicaangela

MA – Hillary is the same person she’s always been, she’s playing a different character this time around, The Progressive and Women’s Hero but she is mercenary and dedicated primarily to getting what she wants. The rumblings I’ve heard, for example, about her supporting the TPP privately reflects where she will really be if she wins. Still, it would be far better than a Repub.
AdLib 7 days ago
50 state strategy nameing the real enemy….
MurphTheSurf3

Hillary seems to be very unpopular with milennials. I have yet to meet a milennial who is a Hillary supporter.
kesmarn

Let’s see how tough Rachel gets with Hillary.
AdLib 7 days ago
Fasten seat belts!
pinkpantheroz

Bernie has always been a Democratic Party loyalist, he has always caucused with the democratic party but to distinguish himself from some of the corporate democrats, and to let the electorate know that there is still an even better way besides what we are experiencing now, he has remained and Independent.
monicaangela

Kes – I think milennials don’t connect with her phony persona.
AdLib 7 days ago
AdLib, just saw your comment about the rising death rates of the 45-54 demographic and — yes– I did see that article. That’s the dynamic — dream to nightmare.
kesmarn

Ad….the strength of O Malley (which I hope is now emerging) and of Sanders is pulling Clinton into their orbit and it will be hard for her not to govern from there because she will be called on it.
MurphTheSurf3

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgJvDdd0f4E
monicaangela

Ad what is that note about death rates?
MurphTheSurf3

Kes, that wasn’t me.
AdLib 7 days ago
OOPs!! So sorry! That was Monica! Too much toggling back and forth here!
kesmarn

both Sanders and O Malley have real passion I think.
MurphTheSurf3

MA – Don’t add the “v” to the url in Vox and you’ll get an embedded video. Here’s yours

AdLib 7 days ago
Ad, a Clinton presidency might be more confusing than a republican presidency, but I do believe a lot of what the republicans would do would get done if Bill and Hillary get into office. Their main goal is personal enrichment, not care for the people of this nation. IMHO
monicaangela

I have to say though, having primaries as we do necessarily moves the issues of importance to what matters in IA, NH and SC.
AdLib 7 days ago
There’s that article you mentioned, Monica. Hillary’s citing it now.
kesmarn

Thanks AdLib, I’m still learning this site I guess. I wanted you to see that video. 45 times she pushed the TPP as the gold standard of Trade Agreements.
monicaangela

Thank you Rachel for listing some of the Wall Street interests Hillary is connected to. But what about mentioning who her contributors are? Insurance companies, Wall Street, oil corps…
AdLib 7 days ago
Exactly! Goldman-Sachs, Citicorp, Exxon….
kesmarn

MA – She supports TPP, just pandering when she says she opposes it.
AdLib 7 days ago
She can’t do that AdLib, the MSM is one of her biggest backers.
monicaangela

Hillary will be in the vicinity of Bill’s presidential triangulations if she wins.
AdLib 7 days ago
Oh my God, she’s channeling President Obama now.
monicaangela

MA – Obama and Bernie, practically quoting Bernie.
AdLib 7 days ago
Absolutely AdLib, I’m sorry, but she just doesn’t appear to be an honest person to me.
monicaangela

I don’t have the polotocal smarts you guys n gals have, but I’m starting to detect a fair amount of anti-Hillary sentiment creeping into the thread. Hope this is transitory!
pinkpantheroz

oops political
pinkpantheroz

Not anti Hillary, just pointing out flaws in her character.
monicaangela

Interesting question to raise the issue of tech influence.
kesmarn

PPO, not to worry as far as I’m concerned. If Hillary is the candidate, she’s got my vote.
kesmarn

Absolutely, and Hillary is bobbing, weaving, and changing the subject. I wish Rachel would ask her about Net Neutrality.
monicaangela

there will never be constraints on lobbyists.
pinkpantheroz

PPO – Balancing two principles here. Applying the same fairness by criritcizing the hypocrisy and disingenuous nature of Hillary but appreciating that she would support many things Progressives support if President…while no Repub would.
AdLib 7 days ago
There will be if we the electorate insist there be changes. You can’t be defeatist if you plan to improve your nation for those that will come after you.
monicaangela

Waiting for Rachel to ask Hillary about her war hawk nature.
AdLib 7 days ago
Another good question. Why would she continue to support the death penalty knowing how unequal it has been administrated. Wrong, wrong, wrong.
monicaangela

Fair enough, Ad. Let’s not have double standards in treating Dems or GOP’s errors.
pinkpantheroz

PPO I am PRO Democrat which means I am PRO Hillary, Pro Sanders and Pro O’Malley…I see the plusses and minuses for each…..Clinton is a more machiavellian than than the other two and that is both a plus and minus….characteristics of the lion and the fox…
MurphTheSurf3

Oh God, a States Rights democrat, tell me it isn’t so.
monicaangela

When are we going to catch up with the rest of the civilized world and get rid of the death penalty totally?
kesmarn

The death penalty for terrorism, really. When will we as a nation come into line with the rest of the grown up world.
monicaangela

My sentiments exactly Kes. Hillary is behind the times on this issue.
monicaangela

Absolutely.
kesmarn

PPO – Exactly. I’ve criticized Obama along the way too. The opposite of course are like Carson and Trump supporters who would never see any wrong their chosen candidate commits. Never want to mirror that kind of ignorance.
AdLib 7 days ago
She still hasn’t said if she believes Police should bwe in schools…ALL schools. Oh, so she is going to justify it by saying the child may have been in foster care, and some schools, don’t need police officers because they don’t do anything. Really, that’s like saying we need police officers in poor neighborhoods to fight the drug wars, but not in College dormitories even though there are as many or more drugs there….Horrible.
monicaangela

Not to mention on-campus rapes!
kesmarn

I must admit she’s not coming across as well as Bernie
pinkpantheroz

I can’t believe Hillary has no idea why these things are happening in poor neighborhoods. Is she that blind to what is going on in this nation, to what has been going on in this nation for hundreds of years, really?
monicaangela

What does everybody think of the format?
pinkpantheroz

You are absolutely correct PPO. She’s been asked these questions before, but her innerself won’t allow her to give anything but her rehearsed answers. Case in point. Eric Garner was not selling loose cigarettes when confronted by police. He had just broken up a fight between two other individuals. They knew him from a time when he had been arrested for selling loose cigarettes. She just talke to the wife and the mother of this man and still can’t say, he was murdered, she has to act as though selling loose cigarettes was breaking the law so therefore that somehow gives a cop the right to choke him to death. Honestly, am I the only on that can see what’s happening here.
monicaangela

I love the format PPO. I have learned more during this format than during the so called debates.
monicaangela

Hillary does not have the raw energy of Sanders but she structures her arguments well and has a gift for gathering disparate facts into a common narrative. She also is very good in being with lots of different kinds of people….I have seen it first hand….we see that connection tonight….
MurphTheSurf3

PPO, I think the format is the best yet — Dem or GOP.
kesmarn

Spanish oh that should get the vote of all those Latinos.
monicaangela

PPO…I am finding this format very informative and rather inspiring.
MurphTheSurf3

That’s true Murph, she’s been around, and has had to deal with many different types of people.
monicaangela

Great response to the GOP VP call
pinkpantheroz

Great answer! “There are Republicans I could pick. Just none of them.”
kesmarn

Here we go!!! Hawkish
monicaangela

Good answer on the use of force.
monicaangela

Good response to force
pinkpantheroz

A little dodgy. But…okay/
kesmarn

Yes, she has a way of getting around a straight forward answer, but she did a good job finding the correct answer.
monicaangela

Hillary handled the VP gotcha the way you are supposed to…NOTE to the GOP Field.
MurphTheSurf3

MA – Yep, she won’t admit she was 100% wrong on opposing gay marriage.
AdLib 7 days ago
She’s well versed on the Gay marriage question…..now.
monicaangela

Absolutely Ad, she definitely has her finger in the wind when it comes to this issue, and the answer she gave is something that many in the gay community have been saying about inequality.
monicaangela

Smart move reminding people of the Karl Rove Anti Gay state constitutional amendments….nails the question of whether there was a movement nationally …
MurphTheSurf3

Really? Ending talking about hairstyles?
AdLib 7 days ago
Fizzzzzzle
pinkpantheroz

Well, that should take everybody’s mind off the real issues.
monicaangela

MA – Her finger only went in the wind after the whole country moved to support gay marriage.
AdLib 7 days ago
The discussion of Houston is very important…it defines HOW the GOP wins the argument….I thought she was very clear….
MurphTheSurf3

PPO – Fizzle indeed.
AdLib 7 days ago
That is absolutely correct AdLib, and I don’t believe that if she wins the presidency she will do one thing to improve the inequality that exist where the Gay community and minority communities are concerned.
monicaangela

The commentators have it correct…she is more hawkish than Obama, her record proves it.
monicaangela

Murph – Yes but it’s not new. The Repubs always use scarecrows like Death Panels to manipulate people to support their agenda.
AdLib 7 days ago
I am just catching up…..that photo….what hair…..though to be fair I think she answers the question well….she had a road that was wide and full before her and her political goals were set before her but long down the road…..
MurphTheSurf3

Better format than GOP. More face time for candidates ( then again, fewer than GOP). I’m sorry I missed the earlier speakers. From what I hear, I think bernie ‘won’ the day
pinkpantheroz

I am having a different reaction to the hair thing….she is not always at ease in small talk….not tonight…did well.
MurphTheSurf3

MA – I don’t think it would be a priority of hers to do anything remarkable to undo inequity, especially financial inequity.
AdLib 7 days ago
If asked, I will have to answer, I feel Bernie Sanders did the best job in this forum.
monicaangela

How could she Ad, she’s in the pocket of Wall Street.
monicaangela

I think Bernie won it tonight too.
kesmarn

Murph – Not Hillary’s fault, Rachel decided to give it a cutesy end talking about hair.
AdLib 7 days ago
Chris Matthews cannot shut his big yap…he asks and answers all of his questions on and on and on…..
MurphTheSurf3

Although O’Malley certainly didn’t hurt his candidacy.
kesmarn

Murph, Thank God I’m not hearinf Chris Matthews!
pinkpantheroz

Bernie was strong, Hillary was very polished but lacks the genuine nature of Bernie.
AdLib 7 days ago
Murph/AdLib, I believe Rachel gave each candidate a throw away question at the end of their ordeal.
monicaangela

Murph – Agreed, Matthews is such a jabbering fool.

Matthews is a royal pain.

MA – I know but come on, the one woman candidate and the last silly question is about hair?
AdLib 7 days ago
Kes, O’Malley did a really good job also. as I said, I really need to see more of him. I really wish the DNC chair would allow more forums, or more debates so that we the electorate get an opportunity to really get to know these candidates better.
monicaangela

Well, the last question for O”Malley turned out to be about a skirt, a Kilt to be exact.
monicaangela

PPO – But that’s who she is. Hillary doesn’t have her feet firmly planted in genuine inspiration so it’s always waffling or somewhat manufactured, facile answers. She is a brilliant politician but one thing she’s not is genuine.
AdLib 7 days ago
Winning is hard to name here….the most surprising was O’Malley….very solid thinking and properly sentimental…..Bernie really sold his “socialism” as mainstream and heartfelt….Hilary was as good as she gets….a policy wonk who has to reach for her personableness which is there but guarded.
MurphTheSurf3

I think if this were a different year, O’Malley would be very formidable. But Bernie and Hillary just have too much more name recognition.
kesmarn

O’Malley is making the case for his future in Democratic leadership.
MurphTheSurf3

How old is O’Malley? Anyone know?
kesmarn

They all did a good job, I wouldn’t say anyone lost.
AdLib 7 days ago
O’Malley is going to have to explain better his past policies.
monicaangela

Folks ALL Three wer far, far, far better than ANY of the GOP.
MurphTheSurf3

Meanwhile, Carson is doublespeaking about why his lie about being offered a scholarship wasn’t a lie.
AdLib 7 days ago
I agree AdLib, they all did a very good job, however this format was such that it would have been very difficult to do a poor job. All three of them are somewhat rehearsed at this time.
monicaangela

Hmmmm. O’Malley. A descendent, perhaps of Grace O’Malley, Pirate Queen of the West of Ireland? Maybe he can plunder the candidacy!
pinkpantheroz

O’Malley’s 52. He has some time.
kesmarn

Maddow’s summary…..O’Malley had a laser like focus; Bernie was emotionally present; Hillary was in full control
MurphTheSurf3

Who here believes that Hillary was telling the truth when she said she wouldn’t be more hawkish about war than Obama?
AdLib 7 days ago
AdLib I really believe that in his mind Carson does believe he was offered a scholarship to West Point. Even though Military school is usually free, and those who attend are paid, after all they are part of the military.
monicaangela

Murph, Agree totally. All would be better I hear Carson is saying Stonehenge was a Dog Park made by Noah after the flood!
pinkpantheroz

Just their differences on Syria 2 years ago give the lie to that claim, AdLib.
kesmarn

Not me AdLib, I know better, I’ve watched her for a long time.
monicaangela

But I don’t think she’d do anything genuinely insane like a Lyndsey Graham.

MA – I think Carson is a liar. He lied bald faced about his involvement with Mannatch, he lied and said tonight that the press never went after Obama on Bill Ayres, Rev. Wright, etc. He lies constantly.
AdLib 7 days ago
A truly pathological liar.
kesmarn

Actually, I believe Ms. Lindsey talks a good game, and would try to ramp up situations to please the gun manufacturers that have helped keep him in office, but I don’t believe he would be as hawkish a Hillary.
monicaangela

Actually it would probably be Trump who would be crazy with the nuclear codes.
kesmarn

Murph, I met her direct decendant, known just as ‘The O’Malley’, chief of the Clan.

Ad…Carson frightens me…..he seems like a character in a Kubrick film.
MurphTheSurf3

I agree on that AdLib, he has lied all during this campaign. I know it, you know it, I just don’t believe he knows it.
monicaangela

Kes – I agree, don’t think that it is an exaggeration or an insult but an analysis, Carson seems to be a pathological liar.
AdLib 7 days ago
MA – The scariest place I can think of to be would be in Carson’s head.
AdLib 7 days ago
Definitely Kes, Trump would only need someone to oppose one of his “DEALS” and he would be ready to go nuclear. Very dangerous type in my opinion. I believe he would press the button just to get attention if he was being ignored.
monicaangela

Yes! Because I think at the time he’s lying, he has actually managed to convince himself. That is madness.
kesmarn

Imagine where Hillary would be on the issues if Bernie wasn’t a candidate.
AdLib 7 days ago
It would be even scarier to have to be in his Bed IMHO. His wife must definitely be a bird of the same feather.

I was so glad when he announced.

AdLib 7 days ago

AdLib 7 days ago

monicaangela

MurphTheSurf3

Hello Glenn
monicaangela

So on the heels of the Dem debate, who here thinks a GOP establishment candidate will win their primary and who thinks Trump or Carson will win?
AdLib 7 days ago
Hi Ad, PPO, monicaangela, Murph, and Harleigh
glenn

I agree AdLib, I have been following Rachel since her Air America days.
monicaangela

MA – Same here. I remember when she was filling in for Keith O on MSNBC.
AdLib 7 days ago
I am pulling for crazy carson. H makes the palin-bachmann ticket look good and sane.
Harleigh

Keith Olbermann on Maher…..I rather miss him.
MurphTheSurf3

Love Rachel. She’s da bomb!
glenn

I don’t believe Trump or Carson will win, don’t know which of the actual politicians will win, maybe daddy Bush will buy it for Jebbie.
monicaangela

O’Malley talkin about green energy now. I like what he’s saying.
glenn

MA–do you think rubio will be in the race?
glenn

Ma, I think you might be right, but the Kochs may switch to another. Trump and Carson are the court jesters, who will be kicked out long before the primariy.
pinkpantheroz

Me too AdLib, Keith was excellent also, as was Ed, too bad MSNBC has decided to go conservative. I wish we could get a MSM station like Air America was.
monicaangela

Loved Rachel from the beginning on air america(randi roades was the best) and miss K Ollbermann, the best MSNBC ever had.
Harleigh

PPO–Doesn’t seem that Carson’s lies are hurting him any right now. Do you think that will change?
glenn

Loved Keith’s “The Worst Person in the World”. Can’t you hear him intoning it right now?
glenn

glenn, It has to. Too much crap for him to avoid. Wait until the big ads start airing when it gets closer to the crunch
pinkpantheroz

Glenn if Sheldon has anything to do with it he will be in to the end. It’s all about money you know, and Sheldon has plenty of it. You know he is in opposition to the Kochs, the Billionaires are having a tug of war to get their nominee named in the primary and elected in the general.
monicaangela

PPO–But he’s so smart…and so soft-spoken…and so fundamentalist.
glenn

……..And such a Con artist
pinkpantheroz

MA–so Rubio is Sheldon’s boy?
glenn

Absolutely PPO, they are working on getting rid of them now I believe…however, I don’t think it is going to be too easy to get rid of Trump.
monicaangela

PPO–that too!
glenn

Carson sniffed way too much ether like back in the days of sniffing glue.
Harleigh

Yep, he belongs to Sheldon.
monicaangela

MA – You really think Jeb could get the nom? Wouldn’t the half of the party supporting Trump and Carson prevent that?
AdLib 7 days ago
MA–kind of makes sense, I guess. Believe it or not, there are many Cuban Jewish people in Miami. They’re not all Catholic.
glenn

Ma, I’m happy to keep Trump messing with GOP Voters’ minds! He will go eventually when real political rubber has to hit the pavement
pinkpantheroz

Carson tonight defending himself…..

http://time.com/4103701/ben-carson-west-point-media/

Ben Carson Lashes Out at West Point Coverage
He argued that President Obama didn’t face a similar vetting.

“My job is to call you out when you’re unfair,” Carson scolded. “The American people are waking up to your games.”

MurphTheSurf3

Carson did Harleigh, but he hasn’t forgotten how to make money, he appears to have suspened his campaign to go on a book tour.
monicaangela

More from Carson…. “I do not remember this level of scrutiny for one President Barack Obama when he was running. In fact, I remember just the opposite,” Carson said. “I remember people saying, ‘Oh, we won’t talk about that.’” He ticked through a series of figures that conservatives see as Obama liabilities that he felt traditional reporters ignored. Frank Marshall Davis, a friend of Obama’s grandfather who was a Communist; Obama critics say Davis was his political mentor, a claim repeated debunked. He also invoked Weather Underground figures Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn; during the 2008 campaign, Republican VP pick Sarah Palin said Obama was “palling around with terrorists.” Numerous fact-checkers said no. Carson invoked Obama’s one-time pastor. “All the things that Jeremiah Wright was saying? ‘Ah, not a big problem,’” Carson said. (Reports on Wright’s sermons forced Obama to condemn his one-time pastor during the 2008 campaign.)
MurphTheSurf3

glenn they are actually called JEWBANS!! LOL
Harleigh

Stranger things have happened AdLib, who knows why Repubs do the things they do. Is there anybody in the republican field you believe should get the nomination?
monicaangela

Murph – Proves what a liar Carson is. The MSM didn’t go after Obama on Rev. Wright? Why did Obama have to deliver that primary speech on race? He was being smothered by Rev. Wright attacks.
AdLib 7 days ago
Carson is such a pathological liar, he would be destroyed in a debate with a Dem who held his feet to the fire.
AdLib 7 days ago
PPO, believe it or not, I have enjoyed many of the topics Trump has discussed. Especially his rants about the GWB administration.
monicaangela

Ad, hgopefully that day will come soon
pinkpantheroz

Carson is way dumber than Palin.
Harleigh

Monica, I agree, good fodder for TV.
pinkpantheroz

Murph–I listened to the audio of Carson when he was explaining his “stupid people” remark to the CNN correspondent; who, BTW, was a former Fox correspondent. He was condescending, arrogant, and talked in circles. She kept trying to get him to clarify, and he kept telling her to listen to what he was saying. And, when she repeated his words back to him, he told her she wasn’t listening to him. It was circular logic at its best!
glenn

Carson is pure cray cray entertainment. Excuse me while I bring in some grain from my pyramid. brb
Harleigh

glenn, I don’t believe religion has anything to do with it. I believe Sheldon feels he can use Rubio to get legislation passed when it comes to gaming, and he can get him to support Israel to the hilt, those are the important issues for Sheldon.
monicaangela

Glenn, I think he is ghastly.
MurphTheSurf3

brb smoko
pinkpantheroz

I’m sure Carson’s supporters ate it up when he threw a hissy fit at reporters for asking about his lie. One could only imagine the hissy fit he’d throw if he was President and anything went wrong. Putin invades another country, President Carson responds, “That’s just mean and it’s not fair.”
AdLib 7 days ago
Harleigh–how do you know when a Jewish woman has an orgasm?
glenn

she moves?
Harleigh

Hissy fit is correct AdLib, for someone who is so low key and speaks so softly, he can really get his back up when he’s caught in a lie can’t he.
monicaangela

MA–that makes sense, too. A puppet is always good.
glenn

lol
Harleigh

Yep, that’s what the billionaires want, puppets that won’t complain when they attach the strings to them.
monicaangela

I watched the entire Carson press conference….the silence from the media was not respectful it was the silence of contempt as their followup questions clearly indicated.
MurphTheSurf3

MA – Yep, he has the emotional maturity of a 5 year old. And the same proclivity to lie about, “A man came in through the window and ate all the cookies, honest! It wasn’t me!”
AdLib 7 days ago
It couldn’t have been him AdLib, he was out trying to stab his friend Bob at the time.
monicaangela

I didn’t find carson or alan west on the KKK list. surprising.
Harleigh

Murph – I saw most of it and Carson was throwing an “I hate you all!” fit after being held responsible for lying. And virtually calling all the press there frauds.
AdLib 7 days ago
Murph–He definitely has the “god complex”, IMO. I’ve seen retired teachers like him, haven’t you? They are so used to young people listening to them, or to the teacher being the authority in the room, that they forget that not everyone is one of their students. Same thing with Carson. He thinks that we all should listen to him because he has done brain surgery; which is an awesome thing, but still doesn’t mean he knows about anything else. I’d really be curious if another brain surgeon asked him a question about procedures, if Carson could answer it correctly. I think he’s lost something along the way.
glenn

MA – Oh, and he changed his story to say it wasn’t a friend, it was a relative he tried to stab. What a total liar!
AdLib 7 days ago
AL then the reporters fron faux took offense?? LOL
Harleigh

O”Malley explaining to Rachel the reason we have a big debt…”It’s because GWB and his cabal lied to us about Iraq and led us into a war that we are still paying for.” Great answer.
monicaangela

glenn – Great analysis of Carson! Really nails it!
AdLib 7 days ago
Carson may have jumped the shark tonight with the press and while that has short term benefits with his base…it can translate into the kind of coverage that diminishes a candidate.
MurphTheSurf3

Well, he couldn’t produce a last name for Bob, and I suppose he has enough money to pay a family member to lie so it makes sense to change his story.
monicaangela

MA–O’Malley is killing it right now.
glenn

Harleigh – Fox News reporters were beaming with pride when Carson said they were all liars.
AdLib 7 days ago
Glenn…..surgeons have interesting personalities and Carson’s is one I have seen before.
MurphTheSurf3

Murph – I don’t know if Carson’s numbers in the primary will be hurt but his perfomance tonight should make most indie voters very turned off to him.
AdLib 7 days ago
Spot on glenn…I sure hope someone does ask him a question about something he is actually suppose to know somethng about. It’s evident he knows nothing about the office of the Presidency, the budget, government, nothing that would qualify him to run for the highest office in the land.
monicaangela

Ad…imagine him facing the WH Press Corps and the even nasty congress
MurphTheSurf3

Yes he is glenn, he did a great job in this forum.
monicaangela

Carson said straight up in the last debate that he had no relationship with Mannatech, a company he had a promotional relationship with, a company that paid him for speeches and for whom he provided promotional video. He is a flat out liar.
AdLib 7 days ago
carson in a cage match with Goober Gomert!! LMAO
Harleigh

Leave it to you to think of something like that Harleigh. I’ll be laughing in my sleep tonight.
monicaangela

Ad and MA–And the more people press Carson on explaining himself, the more he becomes defensive and arrogant.
glenn

LOL MA
Harleigh

Murph – Personally, I think he’s lying about his “violent” childhood. He has tried to craft an image of himself as a miraculous figure, his version of being Christ, and he’s nothing but a fraud.
AdLib 7 days ago
Ad…..I find his change of character story completely unbelievable…….
MurphTheSurf3

That’s correct glenn, he doesn’t like to be questioned, especially when he is being caught in a lie…That’s why he and Trump and the rest of the group tried to have to have that meeting to get only Hannity and Limbaugh and only conservatives to ask them questions.
monicaangela

Ad–again, crafting himself as a miraculous figure. IOW, a god complex.
glenn

glenn – Carson only has one response to anyone who questions him on his many falsehoods, you’re all prejudiced against me and trying to smear me! That’s it, he never sufficiently or honestly answers questions.
AdLib 7 days ago
I like the one where Gen Westmoreland and the VIP’s of Nam offered him tuition free west point education!!! WAHAHAHA
Harleigh

glenn – Actually, I think Carson’s displaying both God and Messiah Complexes.
AdLib 7 days ago
Harleigh every West Point education is free…just another of those strange unreal claims that he makes.
MurphTheSurf3

MA–But trump wants to have his own negotiations with the network. I don’t think he agreed with Carson’s demands. And, from what I have read, most of them are now “walking it back” about their demands when they got absolutely excoriated by the press, including foxsocallednews.
glenn

Ad–what’s the difference? (Between a god and a messiah complex)
glenn

My grandfather went there, its not a for profit college! he’s a fuckin lyin moron.
Harleigh

Spot on AdLib, he does appear to want to be an example for all of us sinners, he wants us to know there is a better way, and he has found it. Now then, if we will only chip in 50 bucks for his book he can tell us how to find what he has found…he’ll also throw in some interesting facts that we have been lied about up to now…you know, things like Joseph built the pyramids to store grain. LOL!!!!
monicaangela

Harleigh, his story has now changed today. Suddenly, it was some vague people and not Westmoreland who offered him the “scholarship”. Lying sack of manure.
AdLib 7 days ago
Harleigh–c’mon now. Technically, if he was offered a post at West Point, it was a “free scholarship”, since everyone who goes to West Point goes on a free scholarship.
glenn

al he is not all there
Harleigh

Yep glenn, their plan didn’t work. I believe the idea mostly belonged to Cruz, but they were all happy to support him in the effort.. Stupid idea, but so are most of the other ideas they have.
monicaangela

MA–Bernie’s up now!
glenn

Yes, he did an excellent job, just watch how well he does.
monicaangela

He’s not all here either Harleigh.
monicaangela

glenn – A God Complex is one of superiority and infallability, a Messiah complex is where one sees themselves as a savior.
AdLib 7 days ago
LOL MA
Harleigh

That is true AdLib, I sure hope he has read the end of the story. If he has, he might realize it might be a good idea to drop out now before Pontius Pilate gets involved.
monicaangela

Ad–thanks for the clarification. You’re right; he does have both.
glenn

Anywhere I could see reactions to the debate?
pinkpantheroz

Consider the three non-politicians, Trump, Carson and Fiorina. All of their campaigns are built on bigger and bigger lies. The name of the reality show the GOP primary is should be, “The Biggest Liar”.
AdLib 7 days ago
MA–or Judas!
glenn

It’s not funny Harleigh, the poor guy is lost.
monicaangela

ether can do that to you! lol
Harleigh

Yep, we can’t forget about Mr. Iscariot, either one is not going to be good for Carsons God complex or his career in politics for that matter.
monicaangela

MA – Carson sees himself as Jesus from The Bible but he’s actually Sleepy from The Seven Dwarfs.
AdLib 7 days ago
Ad–LOL!
glenn

Do you think the anethesiologist got just a bit too close Harleigh?
monicaangela

I think he’s taking something. He has to be on some very mind numing drugs…. have you seen and heard his fuckin wife??
Harleigh

That’s an insult to Sleepy AdLib.
monicaangela

Harleigh–what about his wife.
glenn

She is the ugliest of creatures and sing worse than Rosanne Barr.
Harleigh

Don’t get me started on her…did you see her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner before one of his speeches? I almost fell off my chair.
monicaangela

Harleigh, he’s obvoiusly hitting the Nitrous Oxide hard
pinkpantheroz

Now, Harleigh, we can’t judge people based on their looks.
glenn

MA – If there was a dwarf named “Crappy”, it would have been a better fit.
AdLib 7 days ago
He sure hides the tube well PPO.
Harleigh

MA–really? She sang before one of his speeches? Oh my!
glenn

I think they make a perfect couple Harleigh, one looks as bad or worse than the other. They belong together.
monicaangela

glenn, quite right, ‘but on the strength of his character” Ugly works for me!
pinkpantheroz

I must be worn out from the forum dialogue….it was great but now I am tapped out…..so I am here but ,,,,,
MurphTheSurf3

PPO–My husband used to say, “Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly is to the bone.” Fits for Carson and his wife, huh?
glenn

Murph, you’ve lasted well. What time is it in your neck of the woods?
pinkpantheroz

MA it is like one of those stories that begins “Y’all ain’t gonn fuckin even believe this shit!”
Harleigh

glenn, that’s abig 10-4 big buddy
pinkpantheroz

Yep Harleigh that more….Spot On….As the saying goes, some day in the near future we are going to look back on this and Lafffffffff!!
monicaangela

Murph–I’m listening with one ear and typing with all of my fingers. Must be why some of my posts are not too coherent.
glenn

And what about Jebby? Is he toast?
AdLib 7 days ago
Ad, Mr Fixit? UIsn’t he joining Tim allen on a home show?
pinkpantheroz

Color jebby washed out by the fact he could not overcome the crazies.
Harleigh

Ad–Burnt to a crisp, IMO. How is he going to fix it?
glenn

“Jeb can nix it!”
AdLib 7 days ago
Ad–and poppy bush can dish it!
glenn

How about Rumsfeld calling GW Bush senile for attacking him?
AdLib 7 days ago
I think Jeb is dead and I am so happy!
AdLib 7 days ago
oops. How do I get that as a pic?
pinkpantheroz

This cycle is way funnier than the old Michelle and Herbie show and has lated longer also too.
Harleigh

Politically dead, that is.
AdLib 7 days ago
MA–Wow! Bernie is putting a hurt on the republicans’ tendency to bash each other! I love Bernie.
glenn

lasted longer
Harleigh

BRB–Rachel is taking a break, so I am, too.
glenn

Harleigh – Even better, watching Jeb, Lindsay, Christie, Jindal, etc. humiliated! Much better cycle, especially if Trump or Carson wins the nom.
AdLib 7 days ago
That’s one Candy that’s no treat.
AdLib 7 days ago
LOL!!!! MIke Drop.
monicaangela

oh doogies!!!! my eyes!!! oh my fucking EARS!!! LMAO
Harleigh

What Harleigh?
monicaangela

Missing the fun! where is it on?
pinkpantheroz

I was waiting for Chris Rock to burst thru the backdrop! lol
Harleigh

Absolutely glenn, Bernie is the real deal
monicaangela

That would have been waaaayyyyy over the top Harleigh. LOL!!!
monicaangela

I thought it was ridiculous that a Bush would run so soon after the last one made a wreck of the world. So I get a lot of satisfaction watching the GOP hammer Jeb into the ground. No way he can win without half the party revolting. And trust me, more than half of the GOP is already revolting.
AdLib 7 days ago
I have always personally found the GOP revolting.
Harleigh

Revolting is a nice word. I’m not sure there is a GOP anymore, it has devolved into something unrecognizable.
monicaangela

Good answer Bernie!!!!
monicaangela

And what’s happened to Trump? How pathetic has he become begging voters to put him back at the top of the polls? So funny! I think the next GOP debate, next week, is going to be very full of conflict. Jeb needs to show he’s old enough to shave, Trump needs to claw his way back up to be King of the Mountain and those at the bottom have to be scared by Christie and Huckster falling down to the kid’s table, knowing they have to break out soon or that’s where they’ll be.
AdLib 7 days ago
Also, there’s blood in the water around Carson. If Trump was to go after Carson as someone you can’t believe…wow…that would be something!
AdLib 7 days ago
I think they need to eliminate the kids table. I believe when a candidate is registering that low in the polls, they should just let them sit out until they are doing better in the polls.
monicaangela

I believe Trump will do just that AdLib, after all, Carson is beating him in some polls, you know what happens when someone rises in the polls.
monicaangela

Rubio is known here in Flori-duh as ‘Rubitard’, a chronic liar about his past and just about everything else. His parents came to Miami in 1956 years before Castro came to power in 1959. He has always claimed to be a ‘Refugee’ or ‘son of refugees’ although he was born in the US in 1971! Anchor baby.

PolitiFact Florida: Marco Rubio’s parents’ immigration predated Castro revolution
U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio sold his American success story as he stumped across Florida two years ago.

Perfect answer Bernie. Voting Rights for ALL and 18 and registered is also a great idea. Automatic registration should be the law.

Exactly Harleigh, that myth of Rubio being a refugee has been dispelled. He isn’t, and neither was his parents. Anchor Baby for sure.

MA – I thought about that too, should the networks stop having a kids table? I think it’s okay though because the networks shouldn’t decide on who should be out of the race. After the IA and NH, most of the losers will drop out anyway, that seems better. Plus, they make the GOP look more ridiculous!

PPO–have fun shopping. Take care. See you next week, I hope!

Harleigh – Thanks for posting that. Rubio is a liar just as Carson is, when it comes to his past. And Rubio has accomplished nothing in his life other than get elected! What kind of credential is that?

glenn – Repub voters want unqualified people to become President, how does that not make the GOP a minority party? A majority doesn’t want that.
AdLib 7 days ago
Harleigh and Ad–Repubs who complain about our deficit and about the lack of veterans’ care have no business calling for wars. Let’s take the money we spend on wars and spend it on the children of our own country and on the veterans who have already fought those wars.
glenn

Ad–you know, I asked a repub about why they want unqualified people to become president. The answer was that politicians have screwed it all up, so let the non politicians take over.
glenn

glenn – Repubs are the worst on that, they attack Obama on the VA but won’t vote to add funding and actually want to destroy it by privatizing it. But they want to create more vets who need more care by going into more wars. The GOP being the party of the military is such a joke.
AdLib 7 days ago
glenn – That kind of logic…isn’t logic, it’s ignorance. So if I go to a doctor who doesn’t do a good job, I should go to someone who knows nothing about medicine? That can’t make any sense in the mind of any reasoned person.
AdLib 7 days ago
Ad–I didn’t say his thinking was logical; just repeating what he said. Of course, let’s not forget the fact that it’s not true, either. The ones who have screwed it up are the ignorant, non-politician tpartiers who have gone on and on about abortion and religion, but have no desire to make our country better. They just want to tear it down.
glenn

glenn – I actually think it’s a mentality of denial. They don’t want to accept that Repubs are as bad as they are when it comes to governing so the only way they can keep supporting the GOP is to support people who aren’t real Republican politicians to represent the party. Such people have a need to support the GOP despite how bad it’s been for the country…and for them. Blind following.
AdLib 7 days ago
Ad–The republicans’ answer to everything is to defund it. Let’s not fix it; let’s just it die. They have no solutions; only problems that they dream up. How many kids could we have fed on food stamps with the money we spend on “investigating” Benghazi, or more specifically, Hillary Clinton? How many veterns could the VA have served? It makes me so angry when I hear these whiners talk about how they don’t want “their” money going to food stamps, but they cry out for us to kill Muslims. I want my money to go to help people, not kill them.

glenn – Because the Repubs actual agenda is pretty ruthless. End taxation for the wealthy and keep taxing the 99% to funnel that money to the wealthy. Don’t allow money to flow to the 99%, just the 1%. So, slash spending, slash taxes for the wealthy, provide loopholes and subsidies to the wealthy. That’s about it.
AdLib 7 days ago
Yet, to advance that agenda, they have to hide it behind a somewhat acceptable facade of fiscal responsibility.
AdLib 7 days ago
Ad–it’s definitely a facade of fiscal responsibility. The wizard behind the curtain effect.
glenn

So, Ad, I guess it’s just you and me, so I’ll leave you to watch the rest of the forum. I’m going to try to stay awake. Take care, and have a great week!
glenn

It’s really a pretty simple agenda. Repeal all the benefits and protections for Americans so the 99% can serve the 1% without interruption, use privatization to funnel tax dollars to the wealthy along with twisting tax policy in that direction. So Repubs don’t want government to work or service the 99%.
AdLib 7 days ago
Night glenn! I watched it earlier, it was a very good format and all candidates did well, well worth watching.
AdLib 7 days ago
Have a great weekend glenn!
AdLib 7 days ago
Ad–They don’t want government to work, and they keep proving it. What I don’t understand, though, is what is the alternative? Do they really think we can survive as a country without the federal government? Or do we just want to be a “collection of states” with each state doing what they want? These are rhetorical questions, or maybe we can tackle them next week.
glenn

G’night.
