Coming on the heels of defending his use of “anchor babies” to dehumanize and transform innocent American babies born in the U.S. to undocumented immigrants into reprehensible “things”, Jeb Bush used the n-word today to refer to African Americans.

Bush defended his use of the n-word by saying, “Here’s the deal, what I said was, they’re commonly referred to that, that’s what I said, I didn’t use it as my own language,” Bush insisted.

Reporters followed up with Bush asking if he regretted using the n-word. “No, I didn’t — I don’t, I don’t regret it. No, do you have a better term? You give me a better term and I’ll use it, I’m serious.”

In response, a reporter volunteered, “How about African Americans?” to which Bush responded, “That’s like seven syllables, come on, I’m not going to say all that! You’d have to come up with something better!”

Later in the day, Bush seemed to be urging a more considerate tone in the ongoing political conversation, “I think we need to tone down the rhetoric a little bit, talk about solutions and get on with fixing things in this country. And this goes especially for the K***s who own the media.”

OMG Ad. Too funny. Instead of explaining the K***, edit it if you\’d like. Comedy is often funny because its true. That\’s why conservatives suck at comedy.\r\n\r\nAnd he was supposed to be the smarter of the two? Do you think they are keeping him medicated so he won\’t disappear to an island somewhere and never look back.
