boo!
Harleigh

hey pink!
Harleigh

I guess we’re early. Time to hit the food table and get a good seat before the othrs arrive.
Harleigh

Howdy!
adlib 7 days ago
Hey, who ate all the shrimp?!
adlib 7 days ago
Who hogged all the beer?
pinkpantheroz

Gulp! What beer?
adlib 7 days ago
Hey Ad, Harleigh
pinkpantheroz

hey ad *burp*
Harleigh

So, how many millions in Ebola deaths out there, PPO?
adlib 7 days ago
Not as many as the latest school shooting, is it, ad?
pinkpantheroz

We’re living on canned beans and Purel out here!
adlib 7 days ago
I think it’s only 4 million and only in Texasippianahomasas.
Harleigh

PPO – Exactly. But real deaths aren’t scary, especially if they’re by guns.
adlib 7 days ago
My heart does go out to the family of that Canadian reservist.
pinkpantheroz

I wrapped our house in Visqueen and sealed all openings with duct tape just like for the bio-chem-nuke fallout precautions in 2005. I’m safe.
Harleigh

Hey…what if we get people under Ebola watch to vote in the really red districts? RW nutjobs would avoid those polling places like…well…the plague.
adlib 7 days ago
Oh, Ad! Dems wouldn’t stoop to……wait a minute!
pinkpantheroz

I’ve been telling all site dems vote nov 4 and repubs nov 5 to avoid cross contamination!
Harleigh

With you on that
adlib 7 days ago
Love it, Harleigh!
adlib 7 days ago
Afraid that Ebola may win the write in vote in many GOP states.
adlib 7 days ago
Well I just hope it is not a shellacking LOL
Harleigh

Still waiting though for Texas RWs to work out an alliance with ISIS.
adlib 7 days ago
Ad, do you mean the ones sending ebola-laden people across the border?
pinkpantheroz

Stonings, witch burnings all for gawd an jebus. glory
Harleigh

PPO – Yep, the cantalope calved, Ebola carrying ISIS aligned Mexican 13 year olds.
adlib 7 days ago
all those childre sent to texas by their parents to get a good education and HC!? HAHAHAHA surprise kiddies!
Harleigh

I’ve just read one piece of good news coming out of the US. they’ve caaned ‘Here comes honey Boo-Boo”!
pinkpantheroz

Canned! oops
pinkpantheroz

hey glenn!
pinkpantheroz

If they are lucky they may get promoted to mississippi! HAHAHAHA
Harleigh

Studies may show that poorly educated South Americans score higher on tests than kids in TX public schools.
adlib 7 days ago
PPO – Heard that it was because Boo-Boo’s mom is dating a sex offender. What a shock, her mom isn’t concerned about child exploitation?
adlib 7 days ago
What up, glenn?
adlib 7 days ago
I can’t believe that Honey boo boo got cancelled! Everytime I felt lower than whale shit I would watch that show and KNOW that it could be worse.
Harleigh

I read the article, it is a claim by TNZ.
Harleigh

TMZ
Harleigh

Ad, Oh, I thought it might have been that she’s crap! Good one, Harleigh!
pinkpantheroz

Just popped in to say I won’t be able to make VOX tonight. Early morning tomorrow. Thinking of y’all. Take care and have a good weekend.
glenn

take care glenn! All the honeys will miss you!
Harleigh

Harleigh, yep, that’s why most watched that show, “As bad as I think things are, at least I’m not them!”
adlib 7 days ago
Thanks for the pop-in, glenn! Have a great weekend!
adlib 7 days ago
Cheers, glenn. take care.
pinkpantheroz

Murph probably won’t be here tonight, he’s doing some political work in MO tonight.
adlib 7 days ago
Ad, that Murph is one heroic guy.
pinkpantheroz

I’ll be in and out, getting some lunch ready for my Lady.
pinkpantheroz

BRB
pinkpantheroz

Seeya shortly, PPO!
adlib 7 days ago
Hey Kalima!
adlib 7 days ago
HARUMPH PPO, here in merika the womenfolk fix us the food! *lookin over shoulder for wife*.
Harleigh

So, looks like Dems are going to pick up some governorships in Nov.
adlib 7 days ago
Well goddamnit AD I hope they PU floriduh.
Harleigh

Hey, kids! Just a quick visit to say that I won’t be able to play tonight. Early morning stuff happening tomorrow — after verrrry long week. Have fun, and have a great weekend, everyone!
kesmarn

Skeletor is the absolute worst.
Harleigh

Harleigh – I think we pickup FL, PA and maybe GA.
adlib 7 days ago
Hey Kes! Thanks for stopping by and saying hi! Hope all goes well tomorrow!
adlib 7 days ago
Bye kes! glad you got to see me again! LOL
Harleigh

I hope Wendy picks up texass but it’s way too close and the people there are sssoooooo stupid.
Harleigh

And Scott Walker could lose in WI!
adlib 7 days ago
I could not believe he escaped the recall. This is a big moment for the future of that state.
Harleigh

Harleigh – If so many in TX were stupid, it wouldn’t be this close. Hope it rains on election day there and the Repubs stare up at the rain in confusion and drown themselves like chickens.
adlib 7 days ago
LMAO
Harleigh

I’m hoping for a miracle for Grimes in KY. That would be sweet.
Harleigh

Harleigh, they successfully changed the meaning of the recall to be about undermining and undoing WI elections. Now that people can vote for or against Walker as part of regular election, he’s in trouble.
adlib 7 days ago
With you on that, hope she can pull it off!
adlib 7 days ago
I hope the voters dump his lame ass.
Harleigh

Hard to believe Kasich is so far up in OH, thought we could can his ass this year.
adlib 7 days ago
I was kind of sad about the umpteenth school shooting since Sandy Hook. WTF is wronf with these people believing it’s OK because LaPierre and faux said so? JFC on a crutch.
Harleigh

And how is RIck Snyder leading in MI? He’s gutted the state and destroyed democracy there. WTF?
adlib 7 days ago
Helo Vox
beatlex

unbelievable. can’t fix stupid.
Harleigh

hey bealex
Harleigh

Harleigh, I was thinking about what kind of shooting would finally be shocking enough to force action…and sadly realized it already happened with Sandy Hook. Now what?
adlib 7 days ago
Hey Beatlex!
adlib 7 days ago
Speaking as someone from the outside looking in….Is there anything in American life that has not been corrupted?
beatlex

It has become a weekly occurance. It is a real bummer and I have abosolutley no glimmer of a solution and have not heard of on either.
Harleigh

Not that we are aware of B
Harleigh

Sadly, it seems like Americans have become accustommed to its kids being murdered by guns in its schools. Wow…
adlib 7 days ago
Beatlex – That would take me a little time to consider.
adlib 7 days ago
Me too AdLib
beatlex

Wait! I have ONE! Taylor Swift!
Harleigh

Most institutions are corrupt. I think that there are many individuals who have integrity but groups are hard to number.
adlib 7 days ago
One “liberal” institution that has become very corrupt is the ACLU, they championed Citizens United among other RW things.
adlib 7 days ago
Adlib,I did not know that, and they are the “champions” of civil rights! Hah!
beatlex

Well I think that the point is, moving forward, at the end of the day, the bottom line, is to think outside of the box, towards our identifiable goals, within the established operational parameters.
Harleigh

LMAO 7 cliches that saay nothing! I’m sending this on to Palin!
Harleigh

Nope, the ACLU are no friends of civil rights, they have become corrupt and are oblivious to it. Yes, they sometimes support rights but other times are in sync with the Kochs.
adlib 7 days ago
Got it, Harleigh! That’s what I call vertical integration of productivity!
adlib 7 days ago
I’m gonna add than man!
Harleigh

And don’t forget the globalization of revenue growth!
adlib 7 days ago
Cost effective hands on from the ground up and all that jazz.
adlib 7 days ago
Hey, funk. Nice gear you’re wearing
pinkpantheroz

Hey, it’s that Hazmat Decontamination guy from Unit 4! What up, Funk?
adlib 7 days ago
Does it make me look fat?
funksands

your bum does lok a bit that way!
pinkpantheroz

A little hip-py,
adlib 7 days ago
Damn. Salesperson at PrepperMart said that vertical stripes are slimming
funksands

funk, a question. how do you go to the toilet in one of those?
pinkpantheroz

Don’t ask
funksands

I’m dressing up this Halloween as a terrified Republican over Ebola.
adlib 7 days ago
Don’t tell me you have to do a Nugent in the suit. eeewwwwwwwwwww
Harleigh

One way to stop kids coming to your door. greet them in a Hazmat suit!
pinkpantheroz

harleigh, its for my own good.
funksands

I usually just hand out batteries and staples on Halloween anyway…
funksands

You would have to and I understand why. just eeewwwww
Harleigh

PPO – That would actually be a great costume. And hand out unwrapped candy that has your fingerprints on them.
adlib 7 days ago
Pink how are things in Oz, weather finally starting to turn?
funksands

Ad, yes, and have a handspray to soak them with.
pinkpantheroz

Hey funk, yep, we’re into spring now and weathers getting up to the usual 80s.
pinkpantheroz

Nice. Lets hope that you guys can avoid wildfires this year
funksands

So what’s on the docket for topics tonight?
funksands

Voter Fraud?
funksands

ACORN?
funksands

Benghazibola?
funksands

Benghazipalooza.
adlib 7 days ago
all of the above Sands
beatlex

Hose Racing Spring Carnival in MEL. Big races and of course, the PUBLIC HOLIDAY on the 1st tuesday in November to watch the $5mill Melbourne Cup! They’re quite nuts here.
pinkpantheroz

Nice. It’s like the world’s crappiest gift basket
funksands

My question is, will the Repubs lose steam after investing heavily in Ebola futures?
adlib 7 days ago
Hey commrades!
killgoretrout

You guys take a day off for a horse race? Niiiiiiice
funksands

Hey KT!
adlib 7 days ago
KT!
beatlex

True, Funk!
pinkpantheroz

I can hardly wait for the all new Howdy Gowdy bullshit benghazisisil show
Harleigh

Ad, crazy never runs out of steam
funksands

hi KT
Harleigh

Hey KT
funksands

PPO – They won’t even give us a day of in the US for a political horse race.
adlib 7 days ago
What’s up B and Ad? Hey funk and Harleigh!
killgoretrout

day off
adlib 7 days ago
Harleigh, think of all the good the GOP can do with supeona power in the Senate too! We’ll finally get to the truth!
funksands

Days off are good!
killgoretrout

Ad, that’s daft as well. at leat the elections in Australia happen on a saturday.
pinkpantheroz

Hey PPO!
killgoretrout

Funk – Good point! Maybe we can finally learn what could have happened in Benghazi!
adlib 7 days ago
hey, KT. Howzit goin’?
pinkpantheroz

Oz, its so we can have time to drive our horse and buggy to the polls after the Sabbath
funksands

Some days when I look at what is going on in America,I want to hurl.Today is one of those days
beatlex

In Oregon they can vote by mail!
killgoretrout

PPO – No kidding, Americans blab about being the greatest democracy but we have Voter ID and no holiday on election day.
adlib 7 days ago
That’s how we vote here. I miss going to the polls. I’m interested to see if voter participation has gone up or down since that was put into place
funksands

I didn’t know Oregon was that progressive, KT!
pinkpantheroz

Oh yeah PPO! Oregon is very progressive.
killgoretrout

We still have never been told why Stevens was 400 miles away from his embassy with 3 mercenaries in a CIA run non-consulate out building. We never will find out either. Libya will revert back to a Muslim theocracy anyway.
Harleigh

Some Americans get to vote just by writing a check.
adlib 7 days ago
Ad, when I die, I want to be buried in Queensland. I hear you can still vote there!
pinkpantheroz

I voted by mail and have for years.
Harleigh

In floriduh you can still vote AND drive after you die.
Harleigh

Harleigh I’m jealous
funksands

Ad, some Americans buy a Government by writing a check
pinkpantheroz

PPO – Exactly!
adlib 7 days ago
BRB!
killgoretrout

Harleigh – In FL, you can vote a naked mole rat into the Governor’s mansion.
adlib 7 days ago
The latest screed on the right is that non-citizens are voting at a terrific clip and are deciding close elections. This story by WaPo feeding into that. Need to look at it more:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/monkey-cage/wp/2014/10/24/could-non-citizens-decide-the-november-election/
Could non-citizens decide the November election?
New research finds that non-citizens do vote, and this could be consequential in some races.

funksands

yep, that’s what we got now.
Harleigh

There has not been any arrests or charges of voter fraud at the polls.
Harleigh

That’s what we get when the owner of Amazon owns a newspaper. Free and fast delivery of crap.
adlib 7 days ago
Can’t get the picture to load…
funksands

hi sabreen
Harleigh

Let’s be real, not a lot will change either way the election goes. The government is crippled, and is likely to stay that way.2016 is right around the corner…(sigh)
beatlex

Funk – Has to be a link that has an image last name like .jpg.
adlib 7 days ago
Saw it, funk. what’s his name. He sorta looks familiar?!
pinkpantheroz

palin-Bachmann 2016 for jebus! Come n git yer screech on!
Harleigh

Where are the ladies tonight?
killgoretrout

Rick Scott in action (h/t Funk):
adlib 7 days ago
Anyone that can get their whole family involved in a drunken brawl deserves the highest office in the land
funksands

Ladies night out KT
beatlex

hahaha That’s him!
Harleigh

BRB
pinkpantheroz

He’s beautiful! cry
funksands

IT’S A MOLE RAT AD!!
beatlex

glenn and Kes popped in to say hi but had to leave, early mornings for them tomorrow.
adlib 7 days ago
Bald, just like Scott!
killgoretrout

That’s Governor Mole Rat to you plebs
funksands

Funk the fambly drunken night out was to celebrate Sarah finally completing Rosetta Stone engrish!
Harleigh

I’m in the same boat tonight. Early rise tomorrow
funksands

I thought it was because it was Wednesday
funksands

Ok guys, straighten up, there’s a lady in the house! Hey Sabreen!
killgoretrout

That’s just what you do in Moose Spit, AK on a weeknight
funksands

Sabreen might take offense to that
funksands

KT, how is your mom?
funksands

She’s doing OK funk. So far so good. thanks for asking.
killgoretrout

Four more whiskers! Four more whiskers!
adlib 7 days ago
The Palin recordings have been hysterical. ‘do you know who I am??’ LOL She actually forgot she was so drunk.
Harleigh

Ha!
funksands

Aren’t all recordings of Palin ridiculous?
adlib 7 days ago
Sarah is a meth head!
killgoretrout

I like how Bristol brought the grand baby with
funksands

Gotta learn ’em early
funksands

She hated SNL for taking her out of context verbatim.
Harleigh

I hear Bristol has a mean right hook!
killgoretrout

Bristol: “Shooters for everyone in my family and a jello shot for the baby!”
adlib 7 days ago
I’m used to being the only female in the room. Back in the day 95% of my friends were guys. So don’t mind me. Say what you must. wink
sabreen60

Welcome Sabreen! Thanks for busting up the boys club here!
adlib 7 days ago
What you must!
killgoretrout

Hey Sabreen
funksands

lol KT
Harleigh

AdLib, Don’t lay that on me cuz I’ll leave. I love to hear what guys say when girls aren’t around.
sabreen60

I hate to post and run, but I’ve got to wrangle some kids into bed early. They’re pissed
funksands

Remember how Bachmann whined that no one was asking her about if she was running in 2016. What about poor Palin, no one is asking her and she “used to be a contandah”.
adlib 7 days ago
Oh, Ad did you see the story on SarahPAC? They’ve paid out something like $5K out of $1.3 million collected. They aren’t even trying anymore
funksands

Ahh, Funk. I’ve been waiting for that cocktail. But if you must – you must. Have a wonderful night and be nice to the kids.
sabreen60

Sabreen – Just meant it was good to have you here!
adlib 7 days ago
I’ve been posting for a Palin-Bachmann ticket since 12/2007, many id’s ago on the old HP where we all met.
Harleigh

Next week darling. I’ll have one with you
funksands

Funk – If your kids are pissed, you must be doing something right.
adlib 7 days ago
Night everyone, have a good weekend!
funksands

I know AdLib. I was just jerking your chain. innocent
sabreen60

G’night, funk.
pinkpantheroz

nite funk…. use a cattle prod!
Harleigh

Sabreen – I figured!
adlib 7 days ago
Seems like Ted Cruz has stolen the loony RW crown from Palin. And he IS going to run.
adlib 7 days ago
Ad, the problem is that there are SO many RW loonies, we won’t know where to start ridiculing them!
pinkpantheroz

twoo buck Huck is trying a right wing end around play for baby jebus
Harleigh

AdLib, Did you hear how Chris Christie put his huge foot in his mouth?
sabreen60

And considering that the Repubs are using anti-woman, anti-Latino, anti-African American rhetoric to rally their base this year, I don’t see how they recover in 2016. No matter who wins The Senate, I think Repubs lose big time in 2016.
adlib 7 days ago
PPO – Even the so-called “established” rightwingers are nutz.
sabreen60

AdLib.T ed Cruz is a fuck*** idiot,he will never be President-I can’t believe he thinks he has a chance
beatlex

Harleigh – Huck has a “letting loose a killer who killed again” problem.
adlib 7 days ago
You got that right, sabreen!
pinkpantheroz

Sabreen – Been running around and missed it! What did Christie say?!
adlib 7 days ago
What sabreen?
Harleigh

beatlex – Nope, Cruz has no chance to win the GE but he could win the Repub primary…and bring about an enormous sweep against the Repubs!
adlib 7 days ago
Let’s hope Adlib!
beatlex

Christi basically told the Repubs he was speaking to that it’s important to elect Republican governors so they can control the voting process in their states. He tried to walk back the statement but actually made it worst. I happened to have turned on Rachel and she covered the story.
sabreen60

I can’t wait to hear how the baggers will deny he is not a natural born merikan. LOL
Harleigh

Sabreen – Wow, love that admission! That needs to get a lot more publicity, what a great GOTV tool for Dems!
adlib 7 days ago
Ad, can you work your considerable magic and spread that far and wide? PLEASE!
pinkpantheroz

PPO – You know it!
adlib 7 days ago
Well, done, BTW, Sabreen to catch that
pinkpantheroz

To begin, here’s an article folks can spread around:

http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/christie-wants-gop-control-voting-rules-election-officials
Christie wants GOP control of voting rules, election officials
Not only does Chris Christie want Republicans to control “voting mechanisms” at the state level, he wants his party to help decide “what the rules are,” too.

adlib 7 days ago
Gottit, ad.
pinkpantheroz

Just Tweeted it out!
adlib 7 days ago
crisco is such a dumbass
Harleigh

Adlib,Christies bully act is growing thin.I don’t see him wielding much power in 2016
beatlex

PPO – I don’t watch MSNBC hardly at all. They have completely pissed me off with repeating RW talking points.
sabreen60

AdLid, I just Tweeted it, too.
sabreen60

Agreed beatlex, his ship has sunk under the weight of his corrupt nature…and too many KFC Double Downs.
adlib 7 days ago
Actually, isn’t this a perfect opportunity to propose that voting regs, boundaries and the like should be done by an independant body?
pinkpantheroz

Sabreen – I can’t stand MSNBC much either, as you say, they were on the same Ebola Panic! bandwagon as Fox News and CNN, their shows are redundant and exploitive. Only shows I can stomach now on MSNBC are Chris Hayes and Maddow.
adlib 7 days ago
I quit watching when griffen decided rachel had to micro-explain every fuckin thin 4 times, and Sharpton and mathews just screech over everybody. Odonnel is still OK but I miss Ed and Olberman stating the truth about RWNJ’s
Harleigh

PPO – We already have that in CA, states will probably need initiatives to pass such independent districting and voter rules laws because the status quo in office will oppose it.
adlib 7 days ago
Raleigh,Ed is still there,at 5 eastern
beatlex

Ad, to dream.. the impossible dream!
pinkpantheroz

Harleigh, I agree. And I think Rachel has bought her own press. Yes, she’s smart, but her constantely telling PBO what he should or should not do gets on my nerves – especially since she been so wrong so often. O’Donnell seemed to have lost something after the accident. I watched him when he first returned, but something was missing.
sabreen60

I work until 7 cry
Harleigh

Harleigh – MSNBC finally fossilized as a corporate tool over the years, despite the couple of good hosts, it’s just a crappy infotainment channel now.
adlib 7 days ago
Tape Harleigh?
beatlex

Ad, aren’t they all, nowadays? AJE, BBC, AJA, NHK . real News.
pinkpantheroz

I think so also too sabreen and AD
Harleigh

AdLib, I agree. Comcast owns NBC and MSNBC. Comcast CEO is a RWNJ.
sabreen60

True sabreen, you can see it changing for the worst.
Harleigh

O’Donnell was always an egocentric wag, ever since he guaranteed that Tim Pawlenty would be the GOP’s 2012 nominee and belittled any guest who dared challenge his genius…before Pawlenty quickly withdrew, he has lost all credibility with me. And I saw him concocting BS assumptions the other night about Michael Brown in flipping through this week. He is a real douche.
adlib 7 days ago
The MSNBC websites and discussion nations are a joke too.
Harleigh

If we had a media that believed in the first principle of journalism – Tell the Truth, people in this country wouldn’t be so ill informed. And there is no way FOX should be allowed to lie 24/7.
sabreen60

sabreen… hon this ain’t Canada, LOL
Harleigh

PPO – Yep, those are far more legit sources for real news than any US based source. Don’t most Americans see how corrupted our institutions have become? I think many do but for some weird reason, they still believe the US corporate news BS.
adlib 7 days ago
Harleigh – Ain’t it a shame!
sabreen60

Vale, Ben Bradlee. We’ll probably never see his type again
pinkpantheroz

yep
Harleigh

Sabreen – That’s right, MSNBC is just a revenue generator and propaganda arm for the RW Comcast CEO. Token pandering to Liberals but the majority of the broadcast day at MSNBC is RW-friendly.
adlib 7 days ago
AdLib, I had forgotten that about O’Donnell. The media is spinning the autopsy report and it’s disgusting.
sabreen60

Harleigh – No kidding, the MSNBC website limits discussions to “news” that appears on MSNBC…not to mention promotional garbage. Yes, people can post comments about anything but only under MSNBC “news” subjects. Those who participate there are voluntarily supporting corporatism.
adlib 7 days ago
And don’t get me started on Chuck Todd rage
sabreen60

So I take it that nobody here is going to NYC for Ariana and Mika’s THRIVE confab!?? Oh I am shocked I tell you.
Harleigh

Ad, I do tape and watch CBS, This Morning with Charlie Rose. they’re no too bad.
pinkpantheroz

Sabreen – It’s sad but the SCOTUS has said that lying is a Constitutional right, that it’s up to citizens to discover lies in politics. Government can stop a soda maker from lying but not powerful politicians who can severely harm the lives of millions of Americans. Makes sense to me. Not.
adlib 7 days ago
Harleigh, I must have missed my invitation. I’ll go if Arianna sends the corporate jet 12000 mile to pick me up.
pinkpantheroz

I really do get my info from blogs that I trust. And I research “stuff”. I understand because I’m retired I have the time to do this. But I think more people could be a little more proactive about sourcing their information.
sabreen60

Sabreen I think AD told me he had a selfie pic of you and Chuck!! ROTF I kind of hate Todd that smarmy fuck myself.

Sabreen – Yes, O’Donnell was just pulling all kinds of assumptions out of his ass about what the autopsy report clearly told us all and the lawyer he had on as a guest had to keep demurring when he insisted they agree with each assumption.

LOL PPO and then thru Canada to get Beatlex right?

Folks, don’t forget Murph’s fab article, the Science of Fox News right here on the Planet.

Sabreen – Wow, Chuck Todd and Luke Russert are such hacks, don’t understand why anyone puts any weight into anything they say.
adlib 7 days ago
Arianna has popped her top with all this New Agey crap. Too much money puts you in a bubble and in it, she is just getting more and more whacked out.
adlib 7 days ago
Just when things get interesting, I gotta fly. Till next week, everybody stay safe and give the RWNJs hell!

Seeya PPO! Have a great weekend!
adlib 7 days ago
But AD, you can achieve more happiness by giving away your wealth AND for only a few thousand they will show you how! You would actually do better at Amway than the Arianaway.

AdLib, I believe the court ruled that FOX is NOT a news organization therefore, they can lie.

How anyone can still believe in that woman, her tabloid monstrosity or her ridiculous psychobabble is astounding to me.
adlib 7 days ago
She pulled out and dropped her pretenses when she sold to AOL.

Sabreen – Fox is openly an unofficial propaganda arm of the GOP. Isn’t it sad that such a thing exists in America and is so accepted?
adlib 7 days ago
Harleigh, she finally got what she was scheming for and after that, no more need to play the “I’m a Progressive!” game.
adlib 7 days ago
AdLib, FOX News and rightwing talk radio has done so much harm to America. And now the rest of the MSM is following suit. It’s a shame that so many Americans ONLY listen to FOX and right wing radio. I think they listen because these entities just confirm what they already want to believe.
sabreen60

Sabreen – Yep, the RW Elite created a very successful propaganda infrastructure by appealing to the basest of people’s insticts. Primarily, fear. How sad so many people are so foolish and easily misled.
adlib 7 days ago
Well good folks, I’m going to say good night. I’ve got a lot to do tomorrow. Take care and be safe.

It was a 2003 court decision in floriduh deciding there are no laws or rules againt distortion or lies on their ‘news’ shows.

Harleigh – Actually, there have never been laws against the press lying aside from libel laws. William Randolph Hearst and many before him lied to America to push their agendas. Sad but true, it is an American tradition, the press lying to the American people.
adlib 7 days ago
The floriduh decision ended the libel for the most part. I just read it and the decision came from such a suit.
Harleigh

I’ll check it out, that’s kind of the last shoe to drop if we don’t have enforceable libel laws against the press.
adlib 7 days ago
well I gotta get to bed. see yall next week

Night Harleigh! Have a great weekend!
adlib 7 days ago
Well, looks like it’s about that time, to wrap the Vox Bar for the night. Thanks to all for another great chat!
adlib 7 days ago
It said they can state their ‘opinions’ and distort facts because there is no rule or law against it, just some policy. LOL
Harleigh

Huh? WTF are libel laws then?
adlib 7 days ago
Hey Murph, how did it go?
adlib 7 days ago
Oh, she is going to lose but less dramatically and having scored some points for our side.

Have to take what little wins you can get when big wins are blocked by ignorance.
adlib 7 days ago
She is a fine person and I think feels better to have a good number of allies for the finish

Right, that is a success.

How did Vox go tonight? Thoughts on Washington shooting? The elections?
murphthesurf3

A bit dismaying that Americans now seem to take for granted that school shootings are not so unusual. We missed our moment after Sandy Hook.
adlib 7 days ago
I agree….I got a lot of comments about the need to arm teachers at Yabberz
murphthesurf3

WTF? Just what we need, putting students in a crossfire.
adlib 7 days ago
And as I understand it, a case like this one would not have been helped in the least by even an expert.
murphthesurf3

Well, I will not keep you. Hope things are well in your world.
murphthesurf3

It will never really help. Shooters have the element of surprise, no one is prepared for a shooting to begin and unless it’s a really 1 in a million situation, no matter who is armed at school, they could never stop the primary murders of a mentally ill student.
adlib 7 days ago
Busy but well. All else well by you?
adlib 7 days ago
That is what I think as well. Things are well enough. We should catch up post election. Take care.
