Did You Hear the One About Global Warming?

A Liberal was talking to a Conservative.

The Liberal said that he had a hard time listening to global warming deniers telling us that there’s no such thing as global warming.

He continued “they don’t even know what a barometer is.”

The conservative responded – “ain’t that who the president is?”

    I was watching MSNBC yesterday and they had that goofball black Republican with round glasses on as a talking head and his first statement was that climate change is as hoax. Then he finished by saying the extreme winter weather that set records proves there’s no global warming.

    Uh…yeah…climate change only applies to warm weather.

    Guess an Ice Age would just be seen as proof against global warming.

      Exactly more energy is being added to the atmosphere. Allot of the energy goes to increasing temperature but much of the energy goes to evaporate surface water and increase wind speeds.

      A few times this year NE and the UK had hurricane force winds from storms where wind speed records were set.

        As for increased snowfall and rainfall…does it really take too much brainpower for Repubs to comprehend that if the Earth is getting warmer, more water is evaporating into the atmosphere and surprise, surprise, record snowfall and rainfall.

        I wonder how many of them honestly don’t believe it and how many are just promoting the corporate agenda.

          Let alone the right wing denying weather patterns are changing. The Midwest bread basket is getting drier and the East is getting wetter. That’s the real danger in climate change. You can’t just change planting patterns overnight and I fear we are headed for another dust bowl.
