I thought some of you might get a kick out of seeing my publicity photo call sheet whilst on the set of Nashville’s Tough Trade a week or so ago.

Yes, that’s me in the infamous, non-speaking role of  Nashville music producer Vernon Scott. LOL….

1st time in my life wearing a cowboy hat and bolo (?) tie….My fake, on-set date,  lady-friend said the look ‘suited me’….Haha~

(ummmm….is my fly down?…..oh geez….)

I kept the hat and the tie….LOL~

Okay, you didn’t forget that “bless your heart” but when I tried to edit, it all went freaky.

Okay, let me set the record straight, being from Arizona and all.
You’re not a cowboy, but wearing ‘western attire.’
There is a difference.
Heck, my husband wears a cowboy hat, shit-kicking boots, and bola ties at times, but not so much anymore since he retired.
And we are rock-and-rollers, AC/DC, Dylan lovers, and not hicks, then again, maybe we are considering the area we live.
There’s folks up here where we call home, whereby the dress code is ZZ-Top beards, missing teeth, Harleys, and Confederate Flags, and I kid you not.
We’re smack dab in the middle of redneck, yee-haw country, where nearly every neighbor quotes Glenn Beck, O’Reilly and Hannity.
You should have seen the year we placed a Kerry/Edwards sign in our yard, and that was something, but now our neighbors know that we’re commie libs, yet we’re still friends.

I, too, like your old pic. Makes you look a little like a :bad(good)guy LOL. I like the bad boy look, although my husband is as clean cut as they come LOL.

Mornin’, TRP!

Nope, I like your other picture much better! I have a thing about “fake” cowboys who wouldn’t know which end of the cow to milk! We have lots of those around these parts.

I don’t know if this will make any sense to you, but I have always had an aversion to all things “cowboy”. I can’t stand country music or square dancing. We used to have to do it in school and I hated it!! Although born and raised in the south, I tried to put as much distance as I could between myself and the perception that we are a bunch of uneducated dunces who can’t speak the King’s English, cowboys included. It’s that stereotype of the semi-literate country bumpkin that I despise! And sir, you are NO country bumpkin!!

Loved your poetry yesterday!! I did log on to the website you provided and the book looks wonderful! You should definitely be compensated for your work! But if my vote counts, keep the old picture! 🙂
